Progress, An Injury, And A Hallelujah

Hi all

I’d like to start off by saying that this is probably the most positive, supportive and all around awesome forum I’ve seen, and I’ve been a member of several. I’ve been lurking since I joined, mainly since any question I might have had has pretty much begun answered already.

So progress - I’ve been PE-ing on and off since about 2005 with definite but mediocre results. Mainly jelquing and some manual stretches. I’d take several months off and lose all the gains and then start again.

July 2016, I decided to get serious and stick with it - I bought a Bathmate Hercules, my routine now is one roughly twenty minute set pumping followed by five minutes of manual stretching and a five minute set of jelqs to finish off. Have gone from roughly 5 4/8 BPSFL to 6 6/8” post workout. Girth from 5 2/8” to 5 4/8”.

I say ‘roughly’ because it seems to vary up to 1/8” day to day. Also I seem to be crossing 7 inches in the Bathmate, but I can’t seem to get the right grip to pull out that hard when measuring, so I’m not sure how accurate I’m measuring, but at least I’m reasonably consistent so I know it’s growing.

Injury - I’ve been using the Vacu-Vin mod on my Bathmate to try and cross the 190mm that I was topping out at. Last Thursday I noticed I was bleeding into the tube, and stopped immediately. Took till today off before trying again. I was fine until I put the mod on and tried crossing 190 - started bleeding again but a lot less than last time.
Noticed what looks like a tiny cut right at the opening of my urethra. I’m sure it’s nothing serious - there’s no pain. However, I’m going to take a whole week off before pumping again and then another week of just the Bathmate before trying gently with the Vacu-Vin mod.

The hallelujah - my wife mentioned my increased size for the second time last night. First, she said it’s thicker and it hurt her a little, and then when she was sucking me off to finish she said it was reaching all the way down her throat - she was pointing to just above where her collar bones meet. Of course I know it isn’t really reaching till there, but I’m sure it feels liker that to her.

Wow! Music to my ears, especially given that I’ve always felt myself to be on the smaller end of average, and when a couple of exes have literally said they’ve had bigger.

So to finish off, a huge thank you to Thunder’s and everyone here. This month is a little tight finances wise, but will definitely donate a little next month when I have some funds.

Pumped again yesterday and today. No more blood, though I - cautiously - pumped up to max.

Yesterday I could feel a pretty uncomfortable stretch in my CCs crossing 180 in the tube, not so much today.

Going to take at least another week just with the Bathmate before I try with the mod again.

I hear you on the need to avoid a chronic injury - have too many of those from lifting weights. I think I’ll use a one day on one day off approach for a couple of weeks more rather than pumping everyday, and then only start using the mod again gently once I’m sure everything is going fine.

The thing is I really want to break past the 190mm barrier - been stuck there for a couple of months now -and the mod got me at least a quarter cm past it in a couple of pumps, so I’m counting the days till I decide its a go.

I don’t share the distrust of the BM - while it isn’t metered, it can only go to a certain negative pressure before no more water can be pumped out, and by itself it’s a level my dick is used to. My only injury happened when I tried to overshoot this limit with the mod, and I admit I went a little trigger happy with it. I’m also attributing all my post-newbie gains to the Bath-mate, so maybe it just works better for me than for others.

How did you heal the injury? Any supplements? Are you maintaining 100% solid erection ability?

That’s an amazing comment to hear from your wife. I am on the smaller side, 5” BPEL and 4.31” EG and my deepest desire is to make a girl moan and enjoy the size of my penis. I am hoping I can make the same amount of gains as you have and get that same comment ;) . It’s always best to take breaks and err on the side of caution with any injury. I need to make sure I remind that to myself. I’m glad you’re taking it to the next level but I never understand why people with already pretty big dicks do PE.

Oh no, you seem to have got me wrong. I was just about where you are when I first started PE. Just a shade over 5 inches bone pressed.

I gained about half an inch or so through manual exercises - stretching and jelqs pretty quickly but then gains tapered out and I became inconsistent.

When I started over last year, I was at 5 1/2 stretched flaccid length, which means my erect length was something less than that. These latest gains have at least taken me to what I feel is an average length, and I attribute them in the most part to pumping.

Thing is I’m uncut, and I always had trouble getting a decent grip to stretch with - due to both insufficient length and loose skin that kept rolling over the shaft. I might have been able to make the same gains or better through hanging but haven’t been able to buy a hanger here in India and my handyman skills are lacking to build one.

My point is that if you stay consistent and figure out what works for you, gains are a given. Go for it, man.

Nope, nothing at all, just a week of rest, and now I’m easing back into it.

I get morning wood most days, even did through the injury, but erections are not consistently a solid 100% and don’t come at will, and they haven’t been for a few years now - I’m over 40. Which is why I only measure stretched flaccid - far more consistent for me.

If anything, pumping has made them easier to get. That and Cialis.

So I used the mod again today after a long break.

Got up to a little over the 190 mark. No blood at all, no pain, looks like I’m completely healed. Yayyy! I’ll still go easy with it. Rome wasn’t built in a day after all.

Question for any of the experienced members reading this. Post my Bathmate session, I can easily stretch to well past my belly button. When I try stretching for another session in the evenings, I can just about reach it and maybe a few millimeters beyond. What gives (obviously not my penis)? Is it retracting through the day?

Yeah elasticity goes back over time and will only “accumulate” if frequency is higher.

Try doing some short “refreshing” stretches in the bathroom throughout the day if you can manage that. Then observe if it changes things. Thats for a start.

ADS, liek extenders, silicone sleeves etc. were invented for that reason to carry on the expansion/elasticity for longer.

I have in the past tried to do piss pulls through the day but without success as the rest rooms at work are always busy. Maybe I’ll try using a traction wrap tomorrow. Off hunting for an old sweatshirt to cut up.

Managed to cross 190 comfortably in today’s session - wish the Bathmate didn’t have the decal cutting right across the tube between 190 and 200, but I’m guesstimating somewhere between 192 and 193.

One tip to reduce gaiter bite for anyone reading this is I try to push as much of the skin around my fat pad into the tube and jam my penis in as far as it goes before I start to actually pump.

So my sessions over the last few days have been less than optimal.

My Bathmate sprung a leak - basically theres a rip in the gaiter just below where it joins the tube. I sealed it up with several wraps of electricians tape. That sorted the leak out, but it changed the way the gaiter flexes and made it much harder to pump. And of course it’s just a temp fix.

So what I did was order a new one. Should reach me in a day or two. I’d have liked to try a penomet for a change, but they don’t deliver here in India. Not heartbroken. Also I’ve had success so far with water pumping so I didn’t want to order any of the sketchy looking air pumps available here.

So the new pump actually reached last night. Props to the dealer for getting it to me in two days flat without charging anything on shipping.

Bought the x30 - I actually wanted the X40 because I’d almost maxed out the Hercules on measurable length but turns out that’s not available here.

The fast shipping is about it as far as good news goes. I was all excited to try it out, but even with the ripped gaiter the Hercules was way better. Guess I should have listened to some of the negative feedback on the hydromax series, but I had a much better experience with the Hercules than what most people say, so I didn’t really trust them.

First of all the new valve is incredibly fiddly. Easily jumps to the locked mode on either side and it leaks if it’s not aligned right. Fair enough, I figured out it works better if the tube is horizontal or slightly pointing up like when one is sitting down. No more standing up and pumping up like I was used to doing with the Hercules but by itself that’s not a biggie.

Secondly, the comfort ring/insert leaks. I lost count of the number of efforts I made to pump up that were ruined by the gigantic air bubble filling up half the tube.

Whichever moron decided a hard plastic ring would form a good seal against a reasonably convoluted body part doesn’t have an ounce of design sense and should be fired. Solution, take it off and pump. I ripped the torn comfort ring off my Hercules after all and it actually performed a little better. Voila, no more bubbles.

Except… you lose at least a centimeter of usable length in the tube. This is a thick, hard plastic donut, not a thin foam rubber strip. And length is important to me.

The only thing that I didn’t try this morning was using lube - that just miiiiiight improve the seal and avoid the huge air bubble.

If not, I’ll try molding a replacement ring or a washer for the existing ring out of silicone. If even that doesn’t work, then I’m stuck with an expensive piece of plastic that doesn’t really help me reach my goals.

Good news is the lube worked. I was mistaken, the comfort ring/insert is made of semi hard rubber and not plastic.

I think I’d become so comfortable with the Hercules that I was almost cavalier with how I was using it. I have to keep in mind that this is a totally different pump and get used to it all over again. The first lesson is that I cannot even pump once while standing. I absolutely HAVE to be sitting down.

Today I managed to get the size of the air bubble down considerably and maintain pressure. Still feel like I could get much higher pressure with the Hercules, but let’s see how it goes over the next few days.

On the flip side I almost sucked my left nut into the tube and it’s still kind of sore.
