I’m not sure. I haven’t measured in a LONG time. I was planning on measuring once I get to 100 days hanging. Hanging is a long process so I don’t want to measure monthly.

Now, last night this girl came over. She just moved back to town and wanted to see me. So she comes over and we are sitting there having a drink and a friend of mine from out of town is staying with me, he came back to the house and the three of us sat around drinking. He eventually went to bed and I told her I was going to sleep. She asked if she could join me, I said yeah come on. She and I went to bed and fucked for a while. I still want to do more sets, but I get so fucking bored. I need to find something productive to do while strapped in and I’ll be good. Yesterday and today I’ve noticed a different feeling while hanging. I feel much more of a internal pull and I am still getting lig pops every now and then.

I went back through my logs and found some things that created gains. Those things I’m not doing anymore, did have a bit of retraction - so adding them back in and hoping to reestablish what they brought in.

Hey brother, I hope it works for both of us. I’m kinda getting to a point where since I haven’t seen gains in a LONG time that I’m feeling like I am just wasting my time. Even though I sometimes feel like this I still continue to PE with the beliefs that my efforts will pay off eventually.

I quickly scanned through this massive thread, it seems that you’ve tried most kinds of PE, congratulations on your gains!
I see that you are adding weight slower now, how much are you adding each week? At what weight did you notice the gains start to appear when you first started hanging?

Actually I’ve decreased the time I hang. I went up to 10 lbs fairly quickly, I feel. As for gains, I haven’t seen any gains hanging. Last time I was hanging I was doing 4 hours a day and eventually I had an injury which caused me to stop. I gave PE a break and eventually got back to it. Now that I am hanging again I am trying to take it slow. I don’t want another injury. I remember reading somewhere on here that it would take 1000 hours of hanging before you would start to see results. Now this may have been an exaggeration, but I won’t know till I get there. As for adding weight I tried to find my limit and what weight would cause fatigue in the first or second set, then stay with that weight. Eventually did find the weight, which is 10 lbs for me, and so I am staying with that currently. I fear that by increasing the weight may cause my ligs to get harder and also possibly cause an injury. I hope this was somewhat helpful and I wasn’t just rambling. If there is anything else I can help with, please ask.

JB - I haven’t read through ALL of this massive thread, but I have a lot of it.

I know you say your gains have stalled-out for quite some time. Have you ever taken a lengthy deconditioning break? And I don’t mean a few weeks. I’m talking about something along the lines of 3-6 months? Maybe with a total reset, you can come back to PE with your tissues in more of a “newbie” state. Of course, you might lose some of your gains, but perhaps you’ll get some quick newbie gains again that will push you up and beyond where you were at before the break.

I think the longest break I’ve taken was about 1 1/2 months. Maybe a 3-6 month break is in my near future. I know some people subscribe to the theory of never taking a break and obviously I have been embracing this theory for quite some time, but maybe it’s time to rethink things. Thanks for the advice.
