Its a protein that strengthens and supports many tissues in the body, including cartilage, bone, tendon and skin.

Strengthening collagenous tissues could make your PE more difficult…

Strong tissues means strong penis. That is the goal here gentlemen yes? To have a strong penis. Your penis is mostly comprised of collagen. I’ve been taking 2TBS of collagen daily for 5yrs now. It’s an amazing supplement.

My understanding is that strengthening collagen may be counter productive to PE. Collagen cross-linking in the tunica is one enemy of gains. Toughening the tunica is one reason gains slow and many struggle. There are dozens of threads here about collagen unlinking and weakening collagen rather than strengthening it.

Here is one thread worth reading: Why gains slow!

Here are a few relevant quotes from the thread:

Quote
“can we encourage new collagen growth while minimising crosslinking that would limit increases in size?”

- Why gains slow!

Quote
They talk about Type III collagen deposition being replaced later with Type I. The tunica as I understand it is mostly Type II, so I’m wondering if this process is valid for us, or if it simply means Type III is replaced with Type II(?). The compression/adhesion/nodules/fibrosis etc. that are the complications they discuss all seem to step from circular inflammation. Whilst it is probably not possible or desirable to stop inflammation altogether, it may slow the process down enough so that the next PE session is done before the final strength related remodelling is overly advanced.

If we can slow down the ‘911’ (or 999) emergency response call of the inflammation to a regular “we’ll call round in the next day or so” response, then we might have a chance to keep extending the scaffolding and framing without the brickies/cladding getting built up (if that makes sense).

- Why gains slow!

Here’s a great article on collagen types and connective tissue in general: Connective Tissue Study Guide

Quote
Collagen is the most common protein in the body. As an essential structural element in the extracellular matrix of most connective tissues, including bone and cartilage, collagen confers toughness and tensile strength. Scars are made of collagen.

More than a dozen different varieties of collagen exist in the body, usually identified by Roman numerals. These varieties are produced by different genes, have somewhat different properties, and occur in different locations. The most common forms are listed below. More at Biochemistry website.

Type I collagen forms the familiar eosinophilic collagen fibers of ordinary fibrous connective tissue (e.g., dermis, tendon, organ sheath, fascia).
Type II collagen reinforces cartilage.
Type III collagen forms reticular fibers and also occurs in basement membranes and bone.
Type IV collagen occurs in the basal lamina around smooth and skeletal muscle fibers.
Type VII collagen is an interlinking collagen important for formation of basement membranes.
Collagen pathology: Because different types of collagen occur in different locations, various collagen defect disorders can produce different symptoms depending on which particular gene carries a mutation.

All of that said, I’m not an expert on collagen. I don’t fully understand the different types of collagen, and I certainly don’t understand how to strengthen the types we want while weakening the types we don’t. This is an area of interest for me, and I plan to do more research on the topic. However, as a general rule, I focus on supplements with collagen unlinking and antifibrotic properties and avoid supplements marketed to strengthen collagen.

TB-500 is a notable exception because it promotes stretching connective tissue as well as angiogenesis, keratinocyte migration, and collagen deposition - essentially, it appears to have properties that could grow completely new tissue when used in conjunction with PE.

But again, I’m no expert here. I still have a lot more research to do and am open to any other opinions on the topic.

Measurements

Current
BPEL: 6 9/16”
MSEG: 4 5/8”
Volume: 8.53”

Starting:
BPEL: 5 15/16”
MSEG: 4 1/4”
Volume: 11.17”

Total Gains:
BPEL Gain: 5/8” - 10.53%
MSEG Gain: 3/8” - 8.82%
Volume Gain: 2.64” - 30.89%

Since I last measured (a bit less than a month ago), I gained 1/8” in girth and no erect length. However, I gained 1/4” BPFSL since the last time I measured BPFSL (a bit over a month ago). My BPFSL now exceeds my BPEL by almost 3/4”. This is very surprising to me, because they used to be pretty much equal. I’m hoping this means I have some length gains on the way.

In the 106 days since starting PE, I have gained approximately 31% in volume. This is very apparent - I can feel it in my hand. My wife comments on it. However, visually, I don’t notice a huge difference. It still seems roughly the same size. I think it will be quite a while before it looks much bigger to me.

BPC-157 and TB-500

I started BPC-157 and TB-500 today.

BPC-157
250mcg 2x/day
4 weeks on, 2 weeks off

TB-500
2.5mg 2x/week

This is in addition to the 25mg/day MK-677, various androgens, and various supplements that I am already taking.

I am not sure how long I will run BPC-157 and TB-500. I do not have an unlimited budget. However, if I see more rapid gains, I’ll run them indefinitely. Gains are priceless.

Current Routine

I spent several months listening to my body and changing my routine frequently. After a while, I settled into a pretty stable routine on a 5 on 2 off schedule. I’m going to make a few changes to my schedule, but I figured I would document the routing I’ve been using and the supplements I’ve been taking.

IPR Routine

Shortly after beginning PE and reading Big Gainer Highlights in its entirety, I decided to join the “more is more” camp. My strategy was to do as much PE as possible while maintaining high EQ. I ended up settling into a 5 on 2 off schedule with no extended breaks. Sometimes my “off” days would only be off in one area - girth work or length work, but not completely off.

I recently read this thread from start to finish: Finding xeno: a penis tale. This introduced me to the concept of IPR (inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling). Here’s a good overview of IPR: BeardedDragon - BeardedDragon Update Thread.

After learning about IPR, I realized I’ve been looking at rest days the wrong way. I immediately decided to take some time off from heavier PE and transition to a proliferation/remodeling break. I’m currently in my second week of light PE (only light pumping 3x/day and ADS wear), and I decided to restructure my routine based on my understanding of IPR and how I believe it applies to my body at this point in time.

For a number of reasons, my routine is a bit different from other routines I’ve seen designed around the IPR.

  • I think I still have some newbie gains to be made.
  • I’m doing much less inflammation in my I phase, so I do not feel I need as long in the P (proliferation) and R (remodeling) phases.
  • I’m taking various substances that should dramatically speed up my recovery time (P and R phases).
    - BPC-157
    - TB-500
    - ipamorelin / mod-GRF

I’ve come up with the following routine:

Week 1 - Inflammation

  • M - Jelqs, squeezes, manual stretches, extender, ADS, higher pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • T - Manual stretches, extender, ADS, lower pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • W - Jelqs, squeezes, manual stretches, extender, ADS, higher pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • T - Manual stretches, extender, ADS, lower pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • F - Jelqs, squeezes, manual stretches, extender, ADS, higher pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • S - Manual stretches, extender, ADS, lower pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • S - Jelqs, squeezes, manual stretches, extender, ADS, higher pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA

Week 2 - Inflammation
  • M - Manual stretches, extender, ADS, lower pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • T - Jelqs, squeezes, manual stretches, extender, ADS, higher pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • W - Manual stretches, extender, ADS, lower pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • T - Jelqs, squeezes, manual stretches, extender, ADS, higher pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • F - Manual stretches, extender, ADS, lower pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • S - Jelqs, squeezes, manual stretches, extender, ADS, higher pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • S - Manual stretches, extender, ADS, lower pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA

Week 3 - Proliferation
  • M - Manual stretches, ADS, lower pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • T - Manual stretches, ADS, lower pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • W - Manual stretches, ADS, lower pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • T - Manual stretches, ADS, lower pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • F - Manual stretches, ADS, lower pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • S - Manual stretches, ADS, lower pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA
  • S - Manual stretches, ADS, lower pressure pumping, DMSO/iodine/POTABA

Week 4 - Remodeling
  • M - ADS, lower pressure pumping
  • T - ADS, lower pressure pumping
  • W - ADS, lower pressure pumping
  • T - ADS, lower pressure pumping
  • F - ADS, lower pressure pumping
  • S - ADS, lower pressure pumping
  • S - ADS, lower pressure pumping

*repeat*

I attached a table outlining my routine. I think it’s a bit more clear in table form. This is just a starting point. As always, I will continue to listen to my body and modify my routine accordingly.

Impressive unit and amazing gains. We are pretty close to the same size. What your formula for girth gains?

Btw, thats a lot of supplements. Do you think they are doing anything? What are your flaccid stats?

I appreciate it. Here’s what I believe contributed the most to my girth gains so far:

  • Conditioning with a lighter routine so that I could handle more intense jelqing
  • Maintaining very high EQ during jelqing sessions
  • 20min/day “Perfect Jelqing” as described by braindrain here.
  • After jelqing, a short 10min pumping session as a “force multiplier” to give a bit more expansion beyond what I achieved while jelqing.
  • A warm-down in the shower after every morning stretch/jelq/pump session, no exceptions.
  • Some sort of extension/expansion for the rest of the day afterward - either an extender, ADS, stealth, cock ring, etc.

It’s tough to say how much the supplements are doing. They definitely contribute to high EQ and significantly decrease recovery time. I think those two factors alone should help me gain, but I can’t say fore sure they contribute to growth in any more direct way. On paper they should, so we’ll see.

Flaccid is usually 4.25 - 4.5” long (recently up to 5” after being in an ADS for a while) and somewhere around 4” girth: 20180322-flaccid.jpg

Beginning New I (Inflammation) Phase

I just finished my first PE decon break, or macro proliferation and remodeling phase in IPR terms. During the break, I did the following:

  • Autoxleeve ADS
  • Stealth for men when not in ADS
  • 10min pumping 3x/day at 4hg

I did not do:
  • Manual stretching
  • Jelqing or any other manual girth work
  • Extender
  • Higher pressure pumping (above 4hg)
  • Apply DMSO/iodine/POTABA

Today I started my next inflammation phase as described here. It feels good to be PEing again. I think my break was successful, since I saw very good expansion while jelqing and even better expansion while pumping. I also felt the “electric” sensation (often reported by those who hang) while using my extender. I get this feeling after a while at low tension and have to take the extender off shortly after. I suspect this means I’ve gone beyond elastic stretching into plastic deformation, but I don’t have any way to verify this is what’s actually occurring. Either way, I see it as a positive PI, and I believe it precedes length gains.

My BPFSL has been almost 3/4” longer than my BPEL for a while now, so I’m hoping I have some length gains on the way. That said, at less than 5” MSEG, I need girth more than I need length. I’ll take whatever gains I can get.
