For holds you get a maximal erection, grip the base of your penis to put even more pressure and keep the blood in. I hold for 20s like that 10 times. The erect jelq and this was my initial routine and it worked well for girth. I also edged for 40 minutes.

yes and no.

Usually after you reach this point erections remain stronger and harder. You are also constantly “edging” on actually climaxing at this point.
I believe the idea is that the maintaining of an as-engorged-state-as-possible either helps grow the penis or at least helps burn in gains.
I use edging in combination with clamping now to get as thick and hard as I can. And I have recently started doing “horses” while clamped (though not necessarily edging) as well.

Yes, but it’s just to stay erect. Ideally i would try to get 100% erect, but some times that’s just not possible. The state pontiuspolet talks about… I actually have it the whole time I’m training. I even find now I added A LOT of quick kegels (1400 in total), I have mini orgasms even at the beginning of the training. Also, I always cum after the training (so right after the edging) because I found things would get weird (like clogs in my urine) if I did not. Note the reason I added the 1200-1400 kegels was to keep an erections and thus replace edging because well, 40 minutes of pure edging is pretty annoying after a training.
