First post, progress and initial thoughts

Hello everyone,

I am I need an inch.

BPEL: 5.9 inches

When I bone press I gain almost an inch. Without it I show about 5”.

I’ve known about PE for the past 7 years, I tried jelqing a long time ago but I think my urge to gain quickly got me to stop because I would measure every day and show no improvement. Now I am ready to commit.

I am currently using a traction device, it is the jes extender I got off eBay for like $20. I do not use a noose - I use the belt. I make my own wrap by using this ace bandage type wrapping. To wrap, I do it in 3 layers. The first layer is just under the glans. Then I wrap the high part of the shaft (just under the glans) and the glans itself to protect the head. Then I use a small piece of theraband that I wrap where the prevent slippage. It works great. The reason why I wrap under the glans first so that if the device ever were to slip off, the first layer of wrap will get “caught” under the glans and won’t slip off.

I have a few questions:

1. Has anyone here gained just from using the extender?
2. Since I bought the jes extender, there were no instructions as to using it properly. I’ve figured out how to wrap comfortably but still can’t go longer than 1.5 hours tops. My glans gets cold and I worry about damage so I take it off. Shit is painful honestly some times. I think this is pretty common, right?
3. Those of you who made gains using an extender, will 4 hours be enough to make gains? Has anyone made gains from just 4 hours of use a day?
4. If I have to take off the device every hour, will I still be able to make gains?
5. So when I use the extender, I’m assuming I should set the length of the device to the furthest my flaccid length can go, right? Else, I don’t see how gains could be made.
6. Are there any break through techniques that will significantly increase my gains? I try to keep my routines as simple as I can but will make the accommodations if there are some techniques that are vouched by many people.
7. How important is a cooldown? I read somewhere that there was a scientific study on the lengthening of rat tails, where they would use tension to promote growth and then use a cold to solidify the gains. Can anyone vouch for the importance of cooldown?

I am on day 3 of consistent use of the extender. I am going to take tomorrow off of the extender, maybe do a morning and evening bathmate session.

Also, the bathmate was cool at one point. I would come out looking thicker and bigger but it would just go away after a few hours. Any tips for the bathmate? Has anyone made any real gains from just the bathmate?

I will keep a log of my progress here.

Hey, there.

5.9 bpel is very respectable and a great starting point. Below are my responses to your questions.

1. Has anyone here gained just from using the extender?
I’ve used an ADS for nearly a year and have not seen much in gains.

With me, I can only use my ADS for an hour or so. I did wrap with a silicone sleeve but that didn’t work. I use the wrap that came with my SG. If I reduce the amount of stretch then I can go two hours plus.

3. Those of you who made gains using an extender, will 4 hours be enough to make gains? Has anyone made gains from just 4 hours of use a day?
Not sure, everyone is different. I gain length well but can’t get my girth to increase.

4. If I have to take off the device every hour, will I still be able to make gains?
Any amount of stretching will help but don’t overdo it or you will begin to turtle.

5. So when I use the extender, I’m assuming I should set the length of the device to the furthest my flaccid length can go, right? Else, I don’t see how gains could be made.
I stretch my flaccid as much as I can, which is the same size as my erect size. This is what I set my ADS for. I have tried to stretch it a little more but it began to hurt quickly.

6. Are there any break through techniques that will significantly increase my gains? I try to keep my routines as simple as I can but will make the accommodations if there are some techniques that are vouched by many people.
Not that I know of. If there were, it would be all over the forums. PE is something you do for life and gains can take years. If you are not committed you won’t be happy with the results.

7. How important is a cooldown? I read somewhere that there was a scientific study on the lengthening of rat tails, where they would use tension to promote growth and then use a cold to solidify the gains. Can anyone vouch for the importance of cooldown?
I have never done a cool down since that is the last thing I would want. I do a warm down, which keeps everything nice and loose.

Hope my responses help.

Current: 7.5 BPEL, 6 BEG, 5.5 MSEG, 5 NBPFL, 5 FG, 8.25 BPFSL

Long term goal: 8 BPEL, 6 BEG, 6 MSEG, 5.5 NBPFL, 5 FG

I’m so discouraged to keep going .. It’s so much work and the results are not coming in at all. I just really need to hear from someone that an ADS will work.

An ADS is different than an extender. I have gained 0.55 BPEL from only using an extender and minimal manual stuff which I started just recently. Traction devices work and there’s peer reviewed studies to prove it. Just google it if you need more reassurance.

An ADS simply functions to keep your penis in a slightly extended state but does not provide the tension a traction device does. I usually wear my extender 3-4 hours a day and made my gains this way. These gains took me about a year but if I was more consistent my gains would have been better. Typically you should expect to gain about 0.1 inches per month at that rate assuming you remain consistent. It’s a very slow process but it does work.

Damn thanks guys, I’ll keep at it.

I put that sucker back on

I’m just wondering if I’m using the extender correctly. So my BPSFL is about the same as my BPEL, so I stretch my unit out to my max BPSFL (bone pressed stretched flaccid length?) and use the extender at that length, right? I have no idea what the tension is but if I kegel in the device or if I sit a certain way and cause my pubic fat to squish up, I see the rods compress, but without doing the above it seems like there is tension but not a whole lot. The main thing is that I’m stretching past my max stretched length right?

Also does anyone have a link for a guide to proper extender use? Maybe a video or a written tutorial? Would greatly appreciate it.

Aside: I’m using the extender for 4 hours per day minimum in 1 hour increments. Also, does anyone know if masturbating and then using the extender is bad?

If you stretch at the maximum tension you can possibly manage for 1 hour then you’ll certainly make gains. Usually I’m just a little bit under my max tension because I now wear my extender in stealth. However, I believe it is best to wear it at your max possible tension if you can.

Try using the search bar I remember reading guides on how to properly use extenders which I found very helpful.

Not necessarily max tension but max stretched length

Thanks for the replies

I have not used an extender or ADS personally, but I have gained nicely over the years and my advise to you is to throw away your ruler (or tape measure or whatever you use to measure). The fastest way to fail in PE is to go looking for gains. If you keep measuring every month you will quickly become discouraged and stop before any gains were made. I almost never measure. About twice a year when I am consistent with my PE for a full year. If I’m not consistent I don’t dare go close to a ruler. So please. Stay away from measuring for at least 3 months at a time.

Stats 7/7/2017- 8.2 BPEL 5.3 MSEG

Picture thread- Some pictures for inspiration.

In my first year of PE manual exercises in the form of predominately jelqing with some Bathmate use increased my length by almost a 0.50 inch and my girth by approximately 0.25”. I think that the jelqing had the greatest impact on these initial girth gains, not the bathmate.

Over the next two years I increase my length by another 0.50” with about 900 hrs of extender use, the X4 extender, along with some clamping, jelqing, and air pumping. No girth gains have been made since what was gained in my first year.

Eventually I will move to a girth focused routine, right now I am inching towards 1200 hours of extender use, it might take me another 700 hours+ to hit my initial length goal of 7.5” bone press. So almost 1900 hours of extender use to gain a total of 0.75” of length. Since moving into this latest extender length increase the tension is maxed out on the setup and I can feel I am approaching my elastic limit throughout the shaft and more force is being transferred to my lig. So I suspect gains are now going to slow down even more for me.

So that is a 40,000 foot level summary of my PE experience.

It all takes time, patience and commitment.

Once upon a time (2015): 6.40” x 4.50”

Today: 7.25” x 5.00”, Thunder Cocks Unite!

I think we can...Little Engine’s Climb

So I’m going to measure once a month.

One problem I’m having is discoloration and change of skin on the head

Since I’ve been doing PE it used to be a solid and smooth pink head but now it’s like wrinklier :( I still have sensation thankfully but I think I injured it hanging or using the extender back then

Now I’m taking it slow and taking it off whenever I feel high discomfort

I’m currently doing a extender routine and I feel your pain. Much trial and error got me to where I’m am today. And I’m so happy that I stuck with it though all the up and downs.

Stick with the hour sets with at least 4 hours a day in the extender. Max tension is hard to maintain for all your sets but try to get used to going higher in tension. Then ease off as needed.

I think if you made a base line measurement. of the max stretch length in the extender you will be pleasantly surprised after 1 month when you measure again.

Good luck on your journey
