I know it’s confusing that there are two devices, Tiger Trap (TT) and Tunica Tenderizer (TTr)…I’d say go ahead and ask any questions that you have about constructing either one…

Don’t be shy, I won’t bite :)

Actually I understand English better than Spanish kkk

So in my case my bpel is 6.25 and my nbpel is 5.25, what is the size of the pieces I should cut? I saw I have to consider only the shaft size so my glans is around 1.25” length, should I do it in a 4” long?

Girth is 4.75” in this case how wide should I cut?

Thanks!

So, starting with your NBPEL of 5.25”, then subtract glans length (1.25”) equals 4.00”, then subtract the width of one Cable Clamp (0.5”)…or (1”) if you use two Cable Clamps as I do…lets say you use one Cable Clamp, your now down to 3.5”. Then I recommend subtracting another 1” so that you can place the TT up and down the shaft…so, I’d say go with a 2.5” wide TT. If you built one at 3.5” wide, your TT would just fit between the Cable Clamp and your glans without any option to place it up and down the shaft. Having stated that, you could probably do just fine with a 3” wide TT, but I think 2.5” is a better choice for the reason mentioned, but also in case you decide to use a second Cable Clamp…you’ll still have 0.5” of shaft placement option available.

But then again, you’ll grow fast with TT use, so maybe the 3” wide option would be better…

Bottom line, somewhere in the 2.5” to 3” range would be best.

Anyhoo, I hope that helped. Let me know if not.

Thanks,

xeno

Thanks Xeno now I totally got it!

I’m gonna build one and will post a picture if you like. I think I’ll go for the 2.5” once it seems to be easy to build another one if needed.

The force runs strong in you…:)

By the way, sorry for my ignorance; your native language is of course Portuguese (not Spanish). Glad that your English is so good!

Xeno you are the man! So I never had a shop class and am not that great with tools so this took me about 2 days to find the materials and put them together. The moulding I used needed to be shaped so I had to get familiar with a rasp and files, lesson learned Husky sucks and my dad’s Nicholsons’ rocked. They still have some of the ridges left in them, I’m going to experiment to see if it matters. If it does I can always make another one. I used a drill press with the holes and then widened them out with a power drill and tried to give a half moon shape to the front top holes. I got to let it cure before I can officially use it but I think I did an okay job. Reading about how you came up with this device and then went out and made it is inspiring.

Posting pics of mine. The peaks are 1.5 inches apart. Suggestions welcome.

p.s. has any one built a TT? I think it’s only BeardedDragon and RR360 that have so far built a TTr…

Sure thing. I’ll post one tomorrow when I get home from work.

Another question, what do you think about the theory length first girth second?

Awesome! You did a beautiful job LS! Much cleaner build than mine :) .

On mine, the peaks are at 1.125” apart…I think that both you and me used the same corner molding, but I placed them as close to each other as possible…looks like you have a small gap between each corner molding strip. I don’t know what optimum spacing is, but I think that both of ours fall in that range.

You made my day LS; thanks!

I hope that you’ll provide a review. Start off SLOW.

To you: :gulp:

In general, I think it makes sense. However, at this point in my PE career, given the minimalist IPR approach that I now use, I kind of have to take whatever gains I get and be happy with them.

I think it’s worth noting that gains over the last couple of years have been pretty evenly distributed between length and girth…so no complaints!

As requested here are my efforts at a CC, TT and TTr. Enjoying using all 3 especially the TTr. Many thanks to you for sharing this knowledge Xeno. For me I think it is a game changer. Oh and thanks to BB and SS stretches my flaccid is fantastic. Getting great lig pops on the SS. One more session tomorrow and I’m into R phase.

Xeno- I crosscut some dados in a 2x4 as a variant of the tiger trap. I’m wondering if you think this idea is any good or if the points are too broad to put adequate pressure. I could put a bigger roundover on the points to create a bullnose. I’m gonna make one as prescribed also, just thought I’d see if this idea was any good in your opinion. Thanks.

Looks great in my opinion! Yes, I think if you could keep the same spacing between “shoulders” and then “bullnose” the tips…in fact, if you could taper the shoulders to something like 60 degrees, I think you’d have what I think would be about the optimum configuration for a TT! For the record, my sense is that optimum configuration for the TT is about 0.75” spacing (frequency) of peaks, and a height (amplitude) of about 0.75”…maybe 1” for me…but, I’ve certainly seen good results from the 1.125” spacing and 0.5” amplitude that I’ve been working with.

Awesome work!

Thank you!
