Summary of things I've learned

This post contains everything I’ve noted and has been useful to me in the past two months and change. Aside from this, I’ve been hitting the 180mm mark consistently the past week while my EQ feels kind of bad. That gives me hope for the future; once my EQ goes up, I’m expecting more gains. 2 weeks from now.

Recovery summary
Do a few minutes of Firegoat rolls or other massages for a few minutes after a warm up (10 minute IR lamp for me) twice per day. Overnight fowfers. Edging for 5-10 minutes twice per day. Never skip an off day.
EQ summary
Edge every day, at least work up to a full erection twice per day. Edge after a session, but not so long/hard as to increase your soreness. Do some girth work at the end of a length session.
During PE session summary
Use constant heat. Warm up and make sure unit is both warm and soft before you start. Don’t kegel too much just before PE, you need that PC muscle to manage your EQ during the jelqs. Focus on length before girth. Don’t work it too hard or you’ll get “steel penis” syndrome. When stretching, ease into the stretches. Relax the stretch before taking it farther (stretch in sections)
What not to do summary
Squeeze the dorsal column, especially just behind the glans. You’ll get injured. Jelq with a high EQ and an intense grip. Skip off days, warm ups or warm downs. Buy into quick fixes (subliminal stuff). Ignore a sudden unexplained drop in EQ. Skip kegels. Ramp up too fast. Increase PE time/intensity when you’re already gaining. Measure after a PE session.
Miscellaneous summary
Kegel every day, be mindful of PIs. Mix it up from time to time. If it’s working, don’t change it. If it’s not working, change it. Quit porn! Rate this thread :P.

About 8/10 morning wood woke me up today, that was nice.

10 minute stretch

100 low EQ jelqs straight down, some spotting, the type that goes away in a matter of hours.

Lots of kegels during the day, I’ll try to find a good moment for some dry jelqs, a squeeze and some edging. It’s really hot here so I’m having some trouble edging and maintaining erections in general (also for any mid-high EQ jelqing)

So I was wondering how long I should wait for a certain routine to take effect before changing it up. After all, some people say “give it a year” or something like that. It seems a little excessive to wait a year for every change in routine to take effect. I’m a newbie now so gains should take form in a matter of months if not weeks, but later on this might be an interesting question.

10 minute stretch

110 low EQ mid-high intensity jelq

15 ~75% EQ jelqs, then firegoat rolls

30 sec squeeze and 30 second horse squeeze, kegeling until purple, then firegoat rolls

15 minute edge, will do something like that again tonight

I had 7/10 morning wood, but stuck around for a while and it looked pretty big for the EQ. Solved my trouble in paradise (mostly) so mood’s back up and so is libido. I got a really extended 1/3 EQ unit during warmup, and length work seems to affect my EQ a little less now so I’m cranking up the intensity slowly. Some time next week I’ll measure again since my last measurement was about a month ago.

W9D7, last post incorrectly labeled as week 8

Last Friday was a rest day, so I rested. Forgive me brothers for I have sinned. Yesterday I visited my parents and stayed over but I didn’t have the opportunity for a proper session so I had one without warmup of 5 minutes of stretching and 50 dry low EQ jelqs. I don’t think the latter did anything at all since the tissue wasn’t soft.

Today a standard workout:

10 min warmup under IR lamp with a big cup of water and a grilled cheese sandwich (with ham and garlic)

10 minute stretch

100 high grip strength low EQ jelqs, SD

30 second squeeze, then 10 medium grip medium EQ jelqs, 30 second squeeze

Firegoat rolls and warm down.

Had happy dreams about “Robin” from how I met your mother. Awful show, hot girl :P. Tomorrow I’ll start with my girth week, hoping to pump up my EQ high enough to have an accurate measuring session. I really want to see a few mm of gain! EQ is my focus so in case the girth exercises don’t work the first few days I’ll rest during the rest of the week to get it up that way. Rest day tomorrow.

W10D2, Girth week.

Rest day yesterday, trying some new things today.

15 JAI pulls in 5 directions (2 second tug 2 second kegel)

50 medium grip ~75% EQ jelqs, real slow

2 squeezes, 30 seconds each

6 minutes edge

I tried some body lotion as a lubricant for jelqing. It worked fine but dries up somewhat quickly, so I guess it’ll work for shorter sessions. I’ll probably try 60 jelqs tomorrow. I can’t remember the last time I released so edging is real easy nowadays. I’ll edge again later today, maybe twice even, and I’ll try to measure this Sunday. I’ve re-started my subliminal blaster since during the time frame when I used that one, I gained. Placebos are great sometimes.

W10D3, girth/EQ/recovery week

Today’s routine:

15 JAI stretches in 5 directions (75, 5 minutes total)

60 wet jelqs, 70-80% EQ (lotion not oil)

8 minute edge (minor ballooning effect in the last 2 minutes, nice)

2x 30 second squeeze

1:30 firegoat rolls because I was pretty purple

20 low EQ jelqs, couldn’t resist

Shower off with more firegoat rolls, saw some spotting

Getting some really good EQ, but I don’t feel as “solid” as I used to anymore. I used to feel, at 10/10 EQ, like that’s it, it’s rock hard and it ain’t getting bigger. Now I’m slightly larger but I don’t have this rock hard feel anymore, even when it internally feels like a 10/10 erection. I can squeeze or jelq to make it expand even further. It’s hard to explain, but it seems like if I were to reach the good ‘ole rock hard morning power-rager, I’d be a few mm larger in all directions. Probably just wishful thinking, but I’ll keep up the girth work until I find out. Tomorrow is rest day, I’ll do some preliminary measurements then.

W10D5, girth/EQ/recovery week, yesterday was a rest day.

Today’s routine is simple:

15 JAI stretches in each direction (5 directions)

60 mid-high EQ jelqs (lotion)

2x 30-40 second squeezes with kegels

Firegoat rolls all over the place.

I released after edging for about 20 minutes on wednesday and I felt like an idiot, but my EQ hasn’t suffered so that’s great. After today’s session I had some redness behind/under the glans, so I think I’m in the sweet spot when it comes to spottage. I might not do a session tomorrow and keep the weekend free to take measurements and edge. I want to get back up to edging for an hour or so since that has improved my sexual performance in the past. My hands tell me I haven’t really gained in the past month, maybe I’ve even shrunk a little. I’ll have to find out this weekend. If I’ve shrunk I’ll be in need of some serious moral support, hahaha.

I wasn’t able to do any measurements this weekend and I skipped Saturday. Too much caffein, too much stress for proper EQ.

Today back to a simple length routine;

I’ll probably try to edge later tonight, but I’ve got to stop releasing, that really crushes my EQ.

I think I’ve been consistent and PE has really become an integrated part of my daily life. Even after full days in the lab like today and yesterday, I still throw in full PE sessions. Even if I’m not gaining, at least I feel accomplished.

Sojelq, I’ve considered your advice and I’ll hold off with some measurements until the opportunity arises naturally. It’s been over a month since I last checked though, and I’m only 3 months in so I somehow feel entitled to newbie gains :-P . I know there is no such thing as “deserving” something.

W11D4, yesterday was rest day. Length week. Had a brutally tiring day at the lab.
10 minute stretch followed by 10 JAI stretches in each direction (3 second pull, 2 second kegel)
100 low EQ jelqs, high intensity
get a full erection for a few minutes, wouldn’t call it edging
30 second squeeze
4 sets of 45 second firegoat rolls over the next 10 minutes in the shower

Yesterday I edged for a while and my unit felt quite large. I may have overdone it a little today, if I don’t feel good I’ll use an easier grip on the jelqs tomorrow. I’ll do my best not releasing while edging tonight, I’m definitely feeling the lower EQ as compared to last week. Hopefully the JAIs will help my length work further.

I’m looking to increase the length parts of my routine so I might go for less jelqs soonish and increasing stretching times by about a third. I like the JAIs. I started yesterday with those and my erections are easier today than they have been for a little while. Erections are characteristically around 8/10, which seems to be a constant lack of EQ due to length work. 2 more weeks, then decon for at least 3 weeks.

More stretching: 15-20-30-40-40 seconds in each direction (added a +40 at the end)
More JAI: 18 3-second tugs with 2 second kegels in between in each direction
Less jelqs: 50 low EQ jelqs
5 minute edge followed by 30 second squeeze

I’ve been edging a lot yesterday and the day before and I took measurements.
BPEL: 182 mm = 7.17”
MEG: 137 mm = 5.39”
15.3% volume increase since start. Amazing.
I hit 184 mm in length once but I couldn’t reproduce it so discarded it as a happy surprise for later. I tried to take pics today but I released before I had the chance, whatever. Plus I’m measuring at max kegel size so the timing may be difficult too. Since this is +2 mm in both length and girth since last measurement and I want length first, I increased length work significantly. I started doing JAIs last thursday and the days after the JAIs I had morning wood so I’m not as worried about bad EQ now. Pictures will have to wait, but are coming in the next few weeks.
I’m starting to notice the baseball bat effect, the end of my unit is growing more in girth than the base is. Will edge again later tonight.

I think I overdid it yesterday (edged with release twice and had an extended stretch session) so I just did warmup, basic stretches, warm down today.

I like the JAIs more than the traditional held stretches so when I return on Wednesday I’ll ramp those up over the next week or so.

I think I increased intensity too quickly!
