Always had a small flaccid. Made worse IMO by the long distance running. But as a young man I had enough exposure to the X-rated to also know that the erect size was pretty good. Young and cocky in my 20s my girlfriend made some suggestive comments about some bananas I’d purchased. My response was I’m bigger than that, she said no you’re not, to which I bet her $20 that I was. She took the bet and lost. Measurements were taken out of curiosity and written down for some reason. Her sister who heard the story found the measurements, put 2 and 2 together and her comment was “You’re that big?” She nicknamed me bananaman. I do not remember how the measurements were taken but I remember that it was under 8” and the reason I remember that is that I was disappointed in that fact. So erect length of 7+ for sure, decent girth. I remember that the erect size would reach to my belly button, I also remember a discussion in which I stated that length can be a negative as bottoming out in some positions is not always pleasant. I also remember being quite embarrassed by the banamaman label and subsequently was less preoccupied with my penis. I am much older now and have enjoyed reasonably good health. Over the years I have noticed that the length often not what it used to be but that the girth has improved, this being purely anecdotal and really was of no concern, I just figured it a natural part of aging.

But then I noticed a slight bend or indentation and a small area where a plaque had formed. I surmised this was from an injury from aggressive play and so did some research on Peyronie’s disease and came across traction devices and since there was some positive clinical results I thought it might be useful as a preventive measure. My research caused me to find this site and gain some insight as to traction device use. And I ordered a Hybrid Jes Extender, pretty inexpensive so why not? I figured that would be the end of my involvement here, except that the results changed that.

I started using the devise on a Wed and could only effectively use the noose and there for only 20 minutes with out pain both at the base and at the Glans. And everything was tight. The dorsum of the shaft felt like tight rubber bands. I found that after a bit I could push the extender down and get additional stretch. And then I would back out the screws for additional tension every 2-3 minutes as the tension would ease up. On the Thursday I was able to go longer and by Friday I managed 3 sessions of 35 minutes each. Somewhere in here, the first 3 days, I started taking measurement of what is referred to BPFSL in the extender. At this point I remember it was under 7” I’m estimating 17cm. Saturday I go out after work so I figure that would be a rest day. Went out drinking and things got intimate afterwards and I have to say I was shocked. The erectile quality was through the roof, I hadn’t seen that kind of size in both length and girth in a decade. But I am a skeptic and an “n” of 1 is not definitive. But it certainly got me curious. So inspired was I that I got another session in after she had fallen asleep.

I read about different preferences regarding the extender but IMO because of my anatomy the comfort strap does not work so I felt stuck with the noose and the pain at the base, but I read about conditioning and so I decided on sticking to 35 minute sessions. 3 per day on my days off and 1 session before going to bed. Within 7-10 days the measurement was up to 18cm BPFSL. And the following Saturday we went out again. Now keep in mind this is only 10 days of extender use. Drinks and one thing led to another but this time it was even more pronounced. The damned thing didn’t want to fit in all the way and after a while I encouraged her to try to take it all in, I bottomed out and she just exploded. That my friends had not happened for decades. Now things were tighter and I had to use another position and it took a bit to get fully in and finally finish. She was so wiped out that she literally fell asleep right there, unclothed. I retired later after watching some sports and literally had to push her over, she was literally where I left her. She woke up and didn’t know where the fuck she was.

That’s 2/2 and at this point I have no doubt about the health benefits of this. So I continue and I push the sessions longer on the off days shooting for 2-2.25 hours total on my days off and still shorter sessions on the work nights. It takes about 2 additional weeks to get to 19cm. But the new problem is that as things are conditioned the increase in tension is causing the noose to slip. And it seems clear that is becoming a limiting factor. Anyway I eventually come up with running a Velcro strap through the comfort strap slots to secure the noose and limit the slippage.

All well and good I can apply more pressure, or so I thought. Now the limiting factor is that because there is no slippage the tension builds too quickly as I back out the screws and the glans starts to collapse and slip in the noose from the pressure. This is the point in which I probably benefited the most from the forum, I read about static stretching and stress relaxation. So I adjusted the process so that I would wait the first interval for relaxation then I would push the extender down and again wait an interval before initiating the untwisting of the screws. I started with 5 minute intervals while only untwisting 3 half turns till I got up to an hour for the first of the 3 sessions of the day and could then get 2 more sessions of 45 minutes. The next day off I would go to backing out 4 half turns until I got the 45-60 minutes then to 5 turns at which point I usually had to add length via bars. I was able to find smaller inserts that are only 1/4” in length so that the adjustments are more gradual. And there is a learning curve to applying and securing the noose. It took another 2.5 weeks to hit 20cm BPFSL that was about a week ago and I’ve been there consistently since and maybe creeping past it a little.

These are clearly newbie gains in which lost length is being regained and my sense is that there is a good bit more to go. What I did notice is that I could tell when there was going to be an increase in length as the tissues seemed to let go a little. I’ve noticed this had occurred on the days in which there were multiple sessions almost like a tingling as the tissues would relax. Anecdotally is seems that the single day sessions are more maintenance.

As far as the plaque, or small indent/bend. That had been located about an inch from the base, but now that has been pulled a couple inches away and with the improved erectile quality/size is much less pronounced.

I don’t want to cast any dispersions here. I’m not going to be taking pictures, or erect measurements, to give you a sense I don’t watch porn, I don’t masturbate. I’m posting this because I benefited from the community and the results shocked me, so I wanted to share my findings. I will post up the log I have been keeping and subsequent gains should they occur.

I want to thank the community I benefited greatly. Feels like I’m doing something positive for myself.

Date - BPFSL - Extender use

7-Mar - 17cm - 20-35 minutes daily, to noose limit, 3 half turns /2.5 minutes + 3 sessions 3X/Week

14-Mar - 18cm - 20-35 minutes daily, to noose limit, 3-5 half turns /2.5 minutes + 3 sessions 45-60 minutes 3X/Week

1-Apr - 19cm - 20-35 minutes daily, to noose limit, 3-5 half turns/ 2.5-5 minutes + 3 sessions 45-60 minutes 3X/Week

Velcro to strap in slots to keep noose in place in tabs. Added stress relaxation. No tightening first 2.5-5minutes then push extender down no tightening 2.5-5 minutes to avoid glans collapse.

16-Apr - 20cm

Additional qualitative results: Morning flaccid, greatly improved.

I think it’s because of my age. I’m just regaining what I had lost. I don’t believe I’m yet back to where I was when I was younger. That’s why I suspect in the next few months I’m going to gain some more. I’m not really interested in going beyond that. I’m just planning to do this for a few more months till the easy gains taper off and then go to maintenance. I don’t view what I am doing as enlargement so much as it is restoring and maintaining health. That’s why I gave the background I did.

Fair enough. Okay I’m 56. In my 20’s erect length was 7+” but less than 8”. So I would say 7.5+/-.25” I would imagine that it was bone pressed because as a young man I would have tried to get the longest measurement I could. I remember it would reach the belly button in the mirror. When I measure today from the top of the shaft to the belly button that’s about 7.5”. So I think that’s about right but greatly lacking in precision. I would say that I had lost an 1+ of erect length. When I started this I looked into a Vacuum type extender and had to take erect measurements for the cap size. I did measure then, it was 6.25+” erect length and the mid shaft girth was over 5.25”. I believe that erect length measurement was not bone pressed, as I didn’t know what that was at the time nor how to measure properly and I wasn’t measuring to impress anyone, I just took that measurement quickly with a hard ruler, I did not capture the natural upward curve. Also I was extremely lean when I was younger so that’s going to add additional error. I do not have a lot of confidence in these measurements. But this is about as much precision as I can offer.

The measurement that I did take for monitoring was intuitive as I hadn’t read much then, but those are accurate and consistent and capture the change. When I hit the 20cm measurement particularly when I wasn’t looking for enlargement that’s when I thought I should report it. I wish I had done a better lob of documenting. But I wasn’t looking for length or improved erectile quality I was just looking to stop it from taking a left hand turn, the idea of which was disheartening to me. Truth is I thought PE was a joke. And I realize that its a different situation when regaining lost length and erectile quality because of certain tissues having constricted. But at least in this application, for me this has been a very effective treatment. I thought it important to share.

Last week was a bit of an off week, but back on track now. The other qualitative improvement that I mentioned is EQ improved almost immediately. I haven’t had any real problems there just that with aging things haven’t been as robust. Well now it’s through the roof.

But the other thing is that maybe in the last 10 years or so it was pretty much one and done on a night. Now a second round is no problem and for some reason the EQ on the second go round is even better. Like the first go round primes it and the second time it’s so engorged it feels like it’s absolutely going to explode.

The other thing and I don’t know what this is but maybe it is part of EQ and I’m not sure what you call it, but I’m coming so hard now. I was trying to remember and if this ever happened before it was in my 20s.

But it actually has caused me some concern as I do not want to go too hard on this process and take away from those improvements. I mean it’s just fantastic.

PE for me is more about health and EQ than increases in length and girth. As you can see from my profile, I’ve been here awhile. I had a case of Peyronie’s many years ago and set out to research the heck out of it. Also either concurrently or independently, I experienced shortening and reduction in girth probably due to old age - I am older than you.

The peyroniesforum.net got me up to speed on a few therapeutic strategies and eventually I landed here at Thunder’s. Lot’s of good folks and info here.

My rule has been to pay attention to EQ - when it improves then I am doing something right; if it diminishes more than a couple days then I am doing something wrong.

Thank you for the response. I agree the quality of the members here is great. And yes I’m of a similar mindset to have EQ drive the process. But I have to say that a curiosity has developed as I didn’t expect the results to be so robust, I do wonder if more will be forthcoming.

So at this point with the extender and using the noose things are conditioned much better. I took some time off because of circumstances and so came back to it while keeping the stress relaxation tension regiment the same but increasing the duration. What I have to report is that this didn’t work. There is a combination of tension and duration that leads to the glans collapsing from being overworked. It’s not painful, it just will slip out of the noose, because it is overworked. So I think it becomes choice of keeping the tension low and increasing the duration markedly or keeping the tension high but realizing that there will be limits to the duration. If you’re going to go with higher tension, it comes down to keeping the glans healthy so that it can handle the tension. I think this is also why folks gravitate over time to a vacuum extender.

My inclination though is to stick the noose at least for now. For one I do not really have the time for low tension high duration extender use. Secondly I have really got the learning curve down on using the noose and things are conditioned to it. Additionally, I have gotten really good results quickly with it so I don’t want to change anything, until the progress comes to a halt.

So I’m going to try to figure out what is the maximum regiment that allows for high tension with the extender and keeps the glans healthy. Given that Saturdays is usually date night I’m going to have Saturdays as an off day. And then for right now I’m going to go with 3 days of 3 sessions comprised of one 60 minute session and 2 additional 45 minute sessions and then on the in between days just one 45 minute session. So 3 X one hour sessions and 9 X 45 minute sessions per week.

As far as the tension I’m going to use the stress relaxation principle of increasing the tension/length every five minutes.

I’m going to do this for 6 weeks and then I’ll take measurements. At that point I’ll reassess and report back.

I’ve done a lot of reading here which has helped in terms of developing a sensible and incremental approach.

Im also using extender noose routine and I find the more tension you put on your dick (stretched lenght), the less time you can hold a set before getting pain on the glans or slippage.

Anything below 40min per set may be a signal that you are using too much tension, my sets usually last between 40min to 1h15min. I have made more gains with this high tension approach and I will continue this way until I reach my goal .

High tension noose also does some damage on the skin right behind the glans, and as you progress on your stretched lenght you may take 1-2 days off now and then for the skin to recover, as it gets stronger.

Thank you for the advice. I have to say your log is very impressive, a lot of discipline there. I was able to do a 65 minute set yesterday, increasing tension every 5 minutes and actually stopped the set because I ran out of set screw adjustment as I had actually backed the screw fully out of the base slot. So I actually added length to the extender after the session. But yeah so I think you’re right, incorporating recovery days into the mix should help the process.

Monthly update here. A point of clarification. In reading more I discovered that the measurements I have reported are the Maximum stretched length in the extender not the BPFSL. What I have been tracking is not bone pressed but from the base of the extender to the tip of the glans at the end of the session so the maximum stretch I was able to achieve in the extender. For me it’s an easy consistent measurement and I’ll stick to that for tracking. ThoughtfulGold posted about switching to metric, which is what I’ve been using to track the Maximum stretched length in the extender, but coincidentally I had just ordered a straight metric tape measure for this purpose as the markings are easier to discern. I have also stopped measuring as incessantly. Initially I was shocked that I was able to get increases in stretched length and now I know that this will happen so I’m a little more relaxed about it. My schedule hasn’t been as robust this last month however I did start tracking minutes and tension levels to gain insights. One of the reasons I backed off is that while the stretched length has remained at or slightly above 20cm, and I’m getting there faster in the stretching cycle, the EQ had a small pullback. My head was on other schit so it might have been unrelated but for me this is largely about health so I pulled it back a bit. Still I managed almost 50 hours for the month and EQ came roaring back. Qualitatively: “you’re way too big, that fucking hurt” are words I’ve not heard before and I have to admit I laughed a little bit, keeping in mind this is entirely stealth. But the small plaque that started me on this journey is while not completely gone, overwhelmed by the size increase so that it’s rather inconsequential. Also something to be said of the esthetics while erect, it looks robust, healthy. The improvement well there’s something uplifting about it. Next three weeks is not good for me, so I’m just going to do what I can to maintain and then I’ve have more time in July and August to push it a bit and see if we can add a little more. My focus will remain on length as that seems to be resolving the plaque issue but also qualitatively it seems that girth gains are occurring in concert. Till then.

So in reading here some, there have been a lot of ideas that have been presented that I had not considered before. People talk about goals and there is talk about ideal size. So I have given it some thought.

From my experience given my girth and the larger anatomy of my glans I think that 5.5 mid shaft girth would be plenty and I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near 6”, that would take out of play or at least diminish IMO many things that I enjoy. I’ve been thinking about the length issue and when I think about esthetics I think in NBP terms and I think 7” is quite good especially with an upward curve.

And I understand how it would have been good to have taken starting measurements and to monitor progress in this way, but unfortunately for me that ties into a position that I have, to stay away from both masturbation and porn. And it’s not a EQ related issue, but it is philosophical and not entirely unrelated to some of the things that are discussed here, but it’s a personal decision and I want to stay away from that whole area, so that wasn’t going to happen.

But further the thing is that this really wasn’t my motivation. My motivation was and remains driven by a plaque that caused an slight indentation and to a lesser degree coupled with an aging related loss of length. So I’ve been thinking about the goal, in terms that would make sense to me. So the last time I hooked up I managed to get a good look at things and I would estimate that the plaque/indentation is 60% resolved. To my thinking that correlates to the Max stretched length being increased from 17cm to 20cm. So a 3cm increase resulted in 60% resolution, so to my thinking I need to get the Max stretched length to 22cm. So that’s my goal an additional 2cm of stretched length.

Clearly the initial gains in stretched length were newbie gains. And while the effort the last month was not as robust, it’s taken a whole month for an additional half a centimeter. So based on the diminishing returns I would imagine this is a 4-6 month commitment minimum.

I’ve also thought a little about post goal, but I think the improvement to EQ(when not fatigued) would make it silly not to continue a maintenance program . I view it as simply taking care of yourself as a man. A little grooming, a little strength training, a little cardio, watching your weight and yes maintenance of sexual function. I think it just all ties in to it. Doing something for yourself, in terms of your physical prowess, as a man.
