I’ve been interested in this for the past few years, but really never considered it seriously. After reading into it more and making an account, I think I’m finally ready to give the newbie routine a try. I’m going to buy a few things for more accurate measuring like a tailor’s tape and a better ruler, but for right now here we go! Hopefully having this thread will motivate me to keep it going and not give up after a few days.

Starting 7/12/16:
BPEL: 5.3”
EG: 4.5”

Goal:
BPEL: 6.5”
EG: 5.5”

I’m not sure if my goals are too far-fetched or not, but I feel like that size would be exactly what I’m looking for, so hopefully I can get there. Again, I’m going to be trying the normal newbie routine so if anyone has any tips for me that would be great! There’s a lot of information to sort through on here.

Hello Adiacon! Welcome to TP. If you’re looking for a bigger unit, you’ve come to the right place.

You could start by looking through some of the progress reports here, many people write down notes, mistakes they make, or link interesting threads they find. I would suggest reading a thread on PI s so you can evaluate the feedback your unit gives you. Also I’d recommend “the new jelq city” thread since most reports suggest it’s best to start with length and work on girth later, since starting with girth can impede your length progress later but not the other way around. The videos on jelqing show a very high EQ while this is not recommended at the start of your PE career.

As for tips? Don’t over do it I guess… Start slow and short, work your way up, you should notice some positive changes at some point, hold that intensity/session length for a while and evaluate the results. It’s not an exact science.

I actually started 7/11/16 around midnight, so this is my third day trying PE. So far it’s been good and today is my rest day, although I don’t feel like I need it because I’m not sore or anything down there. Do we really need to adhere to the 2on-1off schedule or can it be mixed up depending on how we are feeling? Anyway, the routine I’m using is as follows:

5min warm wrap
5min manual stretching (up/down/left/right/BTC)
100 wet jelqs
25 kegels held for 5 seconds each
5min warm wrap

I know it’s a little less than the current newbie routine, but getting more jelqs in there seems impossible because I just get 100% hard the whole time and have to keep waiting after every 5. Even masturbating before didn’t make this go away, so I’m not sure how else to be able to do more in a reasonable amount of time. Like I said, I’m not sore at all at the moment. Anyone have any tips?

Hi Adiacon! I’d suggest you still take the rest day, just do kegels. Especially if you’re doing it right, taking rest days is an active measure to maximize effect according to some of the threads on here. I’d suggest you bump up the kegels to 50, more exercise means more control over this muscle, which also helps you manage your EQ in the long run.
I’m in week 8 and I do under 100 jelqs so I wouldn’t worry about it, especially not this early. Just get your technique right. As for the full erection, I had that during my first two weeks but it subsided naturally after a while, I suspect it has to do with the brain being used to associate penis play with masturbation at first, and later gets the idea that this is no longer the case. Again, wouldn’t worry too much about it. It also helped for me to jelq at lower EQ, and jelqing while standing up further reduced my hardness reflexes. Focus on grip strength, grip shape, and stroke speed! Learn it properly early or pay the price of bad habits later ;) . Good luck!

I second everything CrusherBrooks said. I personally am doing jelqs with low EQ. I read on here that it works length rather than girth. Definitely give the PI thread a read. Some great information and good indicators on how to judge what does and doesn’t work for you. I’m a few weeks into the newbie program myself and I’ve had great results so far. With that said, good luck with your gains, my friend!

Oh and as for getting a 100% erections when first starting jelqs, it will subside after a couple sessions. Until then, just do however many you can and once you reach 100%, back off for as long as it takes to go back down to your jelqing EQ.
