Will gaining girth via pumping take away length?

Any experiences with this, or does length remain as you get thicker?


Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

You do not lose length at all, if any, you might gain a teeny tiny bit.

So why does vacuum pumping mainly affect girth? You simply have more surface area on the sides on all directions, up down left right, length wise the vacuum will only have the forward pointing surface to affect.

I gained about 1/2 inch of girth during my first two years of primarily pumping without the loss (nor gain) of any length. I then started hanging (3 months) and extending and over the following two years gained another 1/4 inch of girth and about 3/4 inch in length.


Start 11/09 BPEL: 5.5", EG: 4.4"

Current. BPEL: 6:4", EG: 5.5"

It seems to me that it is the case.


My current dimensions: flaccid: 8" x 6.5" erect: 9.5" x 7.125" glans: soft length:1.825" soft diameter 1.65" firm length:2.286" firm diameter:1.90"

Goal: flaccid: 9" x 7" (.1" length .5" girth) erect: 10" x 8" ( .5" length 1" girth) glans: soft length: 2.25" soft diameter: 2" firm length: 2.5" firm diameter: 2.25"

Ultimate goal: flaccid: 10" x 8" erect: 11.5" x 9.75" glans: soft length: 2.5" soft diameter: 2.25" firm length: 4" firm diameter: 3" In other words: A big, fat elephant cock!

It hasn’t taken away length, but it certainly isn’t adding any like when I was strictly doing jelqing and stretching :) .

What do you make of the general “mark the tube at the end of your penis to track your gains” practice, where a lot of people seem to report length gains?

I don’t put a lot of stock in that since it is totally determined on how good a seal you establish and how far the tube gets seated in the fat pad. It will fluctuate from session to session; you may actually be making gains but because the tube may not be seated exactly as it was when you made your mark, it may not look like you are progressing.

I have not experienced this, although it may “appear” to since a thicker cock does look shorter than a thinner cock of the same length.

When I started 3 years ago I was at 6 x 5.5. I started with a pump and manual stretching and gained quite a bit very quickly, I was at 6.875 x 5.75 in about 3 months. I was also at the young age of 45 so I will admit that EQ improvement was a part of it.

After that I went to hanging and gained more but I never lost any size in length during the transition and I started at the recommended 2 lbs so I would have to say that if anything the hanging was only a light stretch for a while. Some will gain length from pumping but most will gain girth, you will not lose length though and pumping if not overdone is a fantastic exercise for EQ.

I have since gone from the bibs to the LG hanger and I can now pump and hang as my routine, I do not pump as much as I used to but I keep it in the mix two times a week and maybe more when I have time. If you pump for gains and EQ instead of instant gratification I am quite certain that you will love pumping. It is often not appreciated but I would suspect that most who do not like pumping have never done it or did not do it correctly

As I increase the size of my cylinders, I have always marked them with tape at the point the tip of my penis reaches at 5 hg after 10 minutes. It is gratifying when I use my earlier cylinders (I can’t comfortably fit in my first cylinder) and see how far I can exceed the tape mark. I have always used a VelSeal seal on the base of my cylinders so I always get a uniform seal. I highly recommend this practice.
