Wide Mouth/Oval Cylinder

Another mini-review. in response to a question of if it “feels different” than a standard cylinder:

All I can say is that it doesn’t feel much different, however,
I gain width and length very fast and comfortably (not
saying my thickwall’s from VT aren’t comfortable).

I don’t get any type of donut effect, when I fill the tube
(in a much shorter time length I might add), my cock
keeps a very natural and even shape over all.

Does anyone know how the sizing works for these?

Lapdist could probably advise you if you wrote them. Here is some Sizing advice from that pumping forum that sounds reasonable — I don’t think I am allowed to link to it but I dunno for sure:

You can wear it in either orientation (i.e. wider side vertical or horizontal). You might think it best to wear it wide side horizontal to keep out ballsac, but it works fine wide side vertical.

For lengthening quickly, wide side vertical is best.
You quickly pack the narrow side and start to stretch out even while still expanding in the vertical. I know it sounds counterintuitive, but that’s how I find it works.

It’s a great tube for lengthening up fast, i.e. pre-sex. I don’t know (yet) whether it’s useful for massive gains.

I was advised the 9 X 2 Oval tube

Interesting, they sound intriguing, but I’d like to read more reviews before purchasing. I might just stick with the original.

Vacutech has their version out:

Elliptical ThickWall Cylinders
Choosing the correct Expansion Cylinder is key to your enlargement progress.

We have created a new type of cylinder for your pleasure and enjoyment.

Vacu-Tech’s new Elliptical design combines our ThickWall concept with an oval shape to maximize your thickness and length. The opening is shaped to more naturally conform to the shape of your penis, as most are not perfectly round.

These new cylinders work perfectly for both beginning and advanced pumpers. You will notice how much quicker you pack your cylinder and get extra length.

These extra comfortable cylinders produce the quickest enlargement of all cylinders we have tested, both ours and our competitors.

Elliptical ThickWall Cylinders are available in six sizes and 9” or 10” lengths. Be sure to measure first and then choose your size below.

As these cylinders are hand crafted, there can be a small variance in size.

Our largest Elliptical ThickWall (2 ¼" x 2 ¾" x 10") can be used for your scrotum.

The Elliptical ThickWall Cylinders from Vacu-Tech caught my eye when I was looking to buy my first cylinder a month ago.I decided to purchase a standard Jim Diamond cylinder from e-bay for $25.

My next cylinder I’ll pay up the $119 and go for Vacu-Tech’s Elliptical ThickWall Cylinder.

I have the LA Pump wide mouth and like it a lot.

Question, what is basic guideline on when you’ve become to big for a tube, and need to move up? I pack the lower two inches of mine current now.

I think most guys don’t move up until they have fully packed.

For those who don’t know, here’s what that looks like - a picture of Thunder’s member Nine Inches packing his 1.75" cylinder:

grow2show - do you feel like the oval is helping with top down view width? Can you compare it to pumping in a regular cylinder?

Anyone verify improved gains from using a wide mouth vs. a standard cylinder?

Anyone?

Sorry I can’t compare the wide-mouth cylinders to the other varieties, as this is my first cylinder. But I do like it, as it seems to fit the shape of the penis better (mine anyway). And I’m certain there are less issues with sucking in the scrotum.

I bought a standard 2” cylinder, and started to pack it after three or four thirty minute sets (with a rice sock)

I then decided to pick up the wide body (2” version, which is much wider on the sides), for a second cylinder to switch to after a few hours with the first one.

I find that I get really good expansion, but less evenly.

I’m guessing that a standard cylinder would be better for staying in shape for say, having sex later with the girlfriend, but the wide body might be better for maximum expansion.

I haven’t tried using a classic cylinder one step up though, so don’t take my word for it.
It’s entirely possible the “unevenness” is just coming from me going beyond a certain maintainable level and it might be the same result with a larger classic cylinder.

I do think that it will help with avoiding getting the balls caught in the cylinder though (at larger sizes).

firstwish, are you saying that the ‘wide body’ 2" cylinder is more than 2" wide?

I had the impression that what made it a ‘wide body’ is that the width was the same, but the height was diminished to make it more of an oval. The 2" wide VacuTech, for example, is 1.5" in height: http://www.vacu tech.com/prodde … od=EllipticalTW

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

Lampwick,

I am indeed saying that! I ordered mine from lapdist. and my cylinder measures 2” tall by about 2.5” wide.

When I wrote them and explained my current situation (packing a 2” after multiple sessions), they recommended the 2” wide body (2” x 2.5).

I guess different companies measure differently. I’d like to order one of the vacutechs though, because they look cool and I find it hard to slide a rubber cock ring or rubber band up over the lip of the lap cylinders.

In retrospect, the 2” from lap is a little big for me. I may be able to pack a 2” (classic) cylinder after hours,
but I’d like a smaller wide body for my first cylinder rather than stepping up to one after those first multiple sessions.

OK. I understand better now, but I would refer to that cylinder as a 2.5”, myself. If you’re just packing a 2” round cylinder, an oval cylinder 2.5” wide seems to be a BIG jump to me.
