Where do you put the water?

Where do you put the water?

Sorry for such a newbie question but where do you put the water in a hydro pump. I am new to pumping and just received my hydro pump and I’m not sure if I put the water in the tube or in the cuplike attachment between the hoses. I searched for step by step instructions for operating a hydro pump and couldn’t find any. If anyone has a link to them or any helpful information or comments please reply. Thanks

cat,

I’m not a pumper. But I read this thread for you, and it looks like the resevoir (cup shaped thing) is to catch water to stop it entering the actual pump.

That being the case and having read the whole thread it seems to me you put the water in the tube. After all if you didn’t put the water in the tube what would be the point.

btw its a good thread.

Thanks Memento. I found what I needed within that attachment.

To pumpers: How do you get a good seal? When I pumped for the first time the pressure gauge went down after I released the handle. I had to continuously pump the handle to keep the appropriate pressure. Any advice will be valued. BC

When I last pumped (over 10 years ago) I used to use a little vaseline on the seal.

I’ve read posts here covering getting a good seal, can’t rememer the info though, thought there was some in that thread ?!?

Always worth reading the old posts / trying a search, so much is already covered :)

Just curious

Why don’t you pump anymore? What type of PE do you primarily adhere to?

It was quite a cheap pump I bought by mail order before the Internet existed as the commercial overkill it is today. It came with a little booklet of exercises, one was hot wrapping and masturbating to the point of almost coming repeatedly and another consisted of covering the penis in mayonnaise. I was 14 at the time and my parents had a habit of breaking into my locked room for periodic searches, so eventually I threw it away. Actually it was almost 20 years ago.

I didn’t use the pump regularly and hence didn’t see anything but temporary gains. I think in my head I still associate it with temporary gains.

Enough history.

Currently I do 1-2 20 min static stretch routine(s) in the morning using a PE asana I posted and 1-2 15min jelq/girth routine(s) in the evening.

If you haven’t already, read the old threads here. You will find them a wonderful source of knowledge.

I had a similar experience when I was younger. I was actually sixteen though but bought a twenty dollar plastic excuse for a pump and saw only temporary increases in size and when my size went back to normal it looked relatively smaller so I too associated pumping with temporary increases and losses in size. That was until I read through old posts (I do a lot of this) on pumping and it opened my eyes to the possibilities with this type of exercise and it’s benefits for the Pe’er. So now I have embarked on this new journey of PE and will post my results as to help others who are reluctant to pump.

pumps

Try getting into a spa or bath full of water ,put the chamber on under the water and suck on the pipe. You dont need any pump.Ifyou have a small plastic tap on the end, by turning it off you can keep that [water] vacumn .Go slowly because every bit of water you suck out has to be replaced by blood in to the penis, unless there is a air pocket
