What do you guys think of this pump?

I’m looking to buy this. As it seems reasonably priced and the quality looks pretty good. Looks a lot less sketchy than the other ones you find on ebay.

That’s that plastic pump that breaks almost on the first use. There has been many guys here to report this. Don’t buy it. Cylinder from a good source (LAPumps or Jim Diamond) and a Harbor Freight pump would be a better choice.

Well for that price even if the pump only lasts a month but the rest is good quality you still wouldn’t be out any extra money if you had to buy another pump.

Thats a plastic Mityvac pump. I’ve been through 3 of those and misc replacement parts.
They work well for a few weeks or months, depending on use, but eventually the handle or piston connector will break under repeated stress.

Find a metal pump like Harbor Freight.

We don’t have Harbor Freight in Canada (from what I understand). You think Home depot would have all the necessary tools for a pump?

Hey Demerit, I’m not sure where you are in Canada, but I bought mine at a Princess Auto. They have a very good quality one (freakin’ thing’s bulletproof) for testing fuel/vacuum components on cars except they’re about a 100 bucks. Google Princess Auto and on their site you should find a store locator.

If you’re looking for a cylinder too, you might have to MacGyve something yourself. I used a big plastic bottle with a big screw cap. I just drilled a hole at the bottom of the bottle and epoxied a fitting for connecting a hose to it. Then I took the cap and cut a hole in it. After that I just cut a piece of tube from a bicycle tire and stretch it over the cap and taped it there. Voila!! Homemade cylinder that works great.

You can’t “pack the tube” this way, but you can put your dick in the seal first and use a cock ring (so you don’t lose length in the tube) and then screw the cylinder on and pump. The combo gives a better seal and keeps your balls from getting sucked in, not to mention the expansion you get. Hope you get what I mean.

Ya don’t buy that plastic shit. Mines never worked. And I bought the Dr Joel’s pump.

I just got a junk pump just like that one. It didn’t work once.

You can go to your auto parts store and by a brake bleeder pump with a gauge. There good quality and can handle water.
