We need a sticky listing quality pumping devices

I know upon reading the title of this thread, the first thought of everybody is for those who want to know to just use the search option. That is certainly a viable option. The problem is that the forums have grown so much, there is almost too much information to sort through. I know one could easily say that those interested just need to be patient and diligent. True but, when considering how many poor choices one could make when purchasing a pump, it is very important to steer the prospective pumpers in the right direction. Just my $0.02.

I agree. There is a great poll on all the extenders. I tried searching for a pumping poll but found none. If we can generate a list of good pumps in this thread, then we can create a poll so we can get votes on the best pumps.

I guess I could benefit from this I have out grown my old pump tube and need a new one. I don’t know how well this idea will work out so I am just going to search around for hours. :)

It will work. We just need members to start listing Pumps they have used. I haven’t used any so I can’t start it off. The only pump I know of is the bathmate.

Well, andgrowing has been on the forum almost from the beginning, he should know the different pumps available.

Unfortunately no. If I knew the different quality pumps out there, I would certainly list them, for the good of all those that visit the forum. I’ve been curious about pumping before, but never actually took the leap to doing it.

I’ve read the stories of different beginning pumpers who purchased various pumps, but that doesn’t say much to the pumps quality. If I go making a list without knowing how well they work or are constructed, that isn’t going to help anyone.

That’s why I believe we need such a list and it needs to become a sticky.

Having a page, FAQ or a static HTML page with list of products, what they do and their advertised benefits is actually not such a bad idea. Our company did a fairly comprehensive research a few months ago to compare “you know what” with various other products and the chart just looks too ugly to post anywhere, even on our websites.

Any newbie would definitely gain insight into what product to buy if he had a comparison chart, based on Forum members input and voting; excluding us Commercial accounts of course :)

Geez, next they will want the forum to actually squeeze the pump for them. ;) There won’t be an “official” forum page or ranking, ever. That would get to political. But I do think a poll of some kind will show up soon.

I was in Japan the other day, and I came across two very strange looking devices. I did take a photo of them if you wanna see them, but then as a curious person I sent them both to chemical analysis for toxic screening and both pumps came out to be made from normal PE plastic with trace toxic chemicals in the rubber parts and steel parts. NEVER seen these in Europe or in the states; but it’s interesting to see, since the EU has such a strict policy on potentially toxic products, that I would personally not buy a pump unless you are 100% sure it’s not made in China. RoHS certificate is what every EU import product needs to have, and a CE mark to be sellable in Europe. I have no knowledge about the USA or Canada. Maybe someone can enlighten me?

With ThunderSS permission, I can post any results from the independent labs to the forum somewhere in the future, if my boss approves.

PS. To add to this, I did not find a SINGLE penis pump in Korea! Weird. Lots of sex shops, but no penis pumps.

Does this mean that this thread will not be used to make recommendations and that we should wait for the poll to show up?
