Water pumping with cold water - The theory-The Experiment

Hi guys.
I just recently purchased a water pump (bathmate), doing 2 x 20 min pumps with hot water - one session morning time and one session evening-gym, combining with jelq exercises, stretching and O-bends. Pretty standard routine.

The thing is - as I was standing in the shower today, cleaning off the Vaseline post-BM-application (In case you missed out, Vaseline can really help you get the right seal, and you avoid pain to a great degree. Just “butter up” your penis and the inside rubber part of the device pre-BM), I started doing some thinking.

-In cool water, your penis will shrivel up. Why? Detraction is just the response to cold water. Man’s physics.
-Your penis tries to shrivel up, but if you then have a great vacuum forcing blood in, as your unit tries to shrink itself - what will the result ultimately be?
Possibly, theoretically, greater progress. Still following?

How I figured it;
Warm water makes your penis expand naturally, promoting growth in addition to the vacuum. Cold water on the other hand, tries to “force back” your units size, which under water will be of no use. Expansion might theoretically last longer, adding to the fact that getting your penis out of hot water, into cooler air, also makes it shrivel up further.
Anyway, I’m giving this a go for a two month period now, only change in my routine will be the change in temperature. I’ll report back here on this experiment.

And by the way - the reason this is posted in the newbie forum is I am not allowed for some reasons to post in the member’s forums (?) even though I have been PEing on and off, and been a Thunders-member for almost three years now. Hope this can be fixed though.

I stick with ideas that feel good and I don’t like cold water, so that’s out. I understand your idea, but still prefer very warm water, especially for full package pumping.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Why don’t you start of with warm water to soften up the tissues, then change to cold to ‘cement’ the gains?

Hot and Cold variations are very common at promoting growth and healing in sport, especially where muscle is concerned (there’s smooth muscle in the penis before I get shot down lol)!

Thanks for the input, DickieC. I’ve read about these variations, and think it might be a good idea, just reversing it. Trying new stuff is always interesting. Worst case scenario on this one is zero growth, so nothing to lose.

Anyway - had my first cold session today, and after three hours I still have the right-after-pump-effect, which usually goes away within just 30 mins. Might just be a good day, but we’ll see how it developes. :)

BTW - in the pump, I now get to right above 180 mm now, aiming to reach the 190 with cold. Let’s see how this works out in time.

I think the vote came out as it could be a really good way to get quick gains,but the damage risk was too high to be worth it.

Warming the penis before a work-out is done for the same reason we warm up when about to do exercise. Warming makes the flesh more pliable and easier to expand . Making it colder requires more force to stretch the skin, flesh etc., which, being less pliable will more easily tear. And that goes for blood vessels also.

We are warm blooded animals so we work better when warm.

Good luck in finding a physical therapist that will suggest you do stretching without warmup.

I would suggest you do the pumping with warm water(or even room temperature), but while you are in the cylinder, having a cold full-body shower. One would expect the contraction of the smooth muscle to be triggered by lowering overall body temperature. As your arms and legs get colder, your body will use vasconstriction at the extremities(including the unit) to move it’s blood into the torso. Try it.

Something I have noticed, is that I never turtle when I put my unit under a cold shower at the end of all my sessions. I think this is because the rest of my body is at a high temperature, which is not surprising as I am under hot water throughout my workouts.

Note: I’ve never pumped before.

Ok, GOOD news!

This weekend I had my girlfriend over as usual. What happens friday night? The thing I’ve DREAMED about all since starting PE.

“Wtf? Are you bigger than usual?”.. Hearing that is DIVINE. I don’t really know whether to address that to pumping overall that week or the cold-pumping (even though that seemed to last longer), but I didn’t really notice that I’ve growed. Probably due to focus on what I LOSE post-pump. If you understand.

I mean - my GF could actually not get her little fingers /index and thumb) around my unit, which she could barely do before, but now it was impossible. Really got me some motivation. That moment was my first goal in PE overall, so a great thing to have reached it :)

Just wanted to share that.

PS - I do not pump weekends. Just do “light” jelqs and stretch. Tell my GF it’s for “circulation”. I actually got her doing Kegels to. She learned the benefits, so to speak ;) -

Have you measured yourself recently? I have a bathmate too and those mm numbers correlate to length. If you are at 180mm that is over 7 inches. I am 6.8 inches and I just hit 170. I just took a ruler and mashed the bathmate down as hard as I could to approximate during use and the 170 mark is just under 7 inches and the 180 mark is over 7 and a quarter inches. Your last measurement says 6.5 inches.
