Water pump with gauge

Hi all,

I want to start pumping and after looking at some threads it seems that water pumping is considered to be (at least what it seems like) more effective and prevents less side effects like lymph build up. So I decided to go look for a water pump. The problem is that all the water pumps I see are without a gauge. Now I do not trust my judgement in measuring the pressure (as you get used to it etc), so I definitely want a gauge to measure the pressure and avoid any potential permanent damage. The bathmate etc all don’t have a gauge.

Anyone found a water pump with a gauge? It would be even better if it’s for a good price.

Thing is, I’ve never seen one. And I imagine because the density of water and air vastly differs, that one with a gauge wouldn’t be accurate. As it would be calibrated to being exactly full of water and this is not always possible every single time a pump is used.

Get this water trap it’s made to be used with a vacuum pump and you can use a gauge

I have it but never tried

Is it true water pump have to use in a bathtub or something? I don’t have a bathtub at home and this is why I didn’t buy it. And also think about every time you will be wet kind of bothers me.

I own both the Thickwall and a Bathmate. Both work fine. The Thickwall will lose vacuum faster and is by far less comfortable than the BM, but the water trap with the gauge works fine. Essentially, all it does it store the pumped out water in a container so it doesn’t reach the pump.

I can’t comment on TG’s concern about different levels of vacuum being achieved in water vs air, but from experience, feel that a BM on max is about 5-6Hg. I have no statistical or scientific evidence, I just go by feeling. I don’t max the BM out, and waterpump no more than 4Hg for safety.

No. It’s called water pump because you fill the cylinder with water vs with air. I use mine anywhere but in the bath, usually. It will get you a bit wet though as putting the pump on, with water in it, will lead to a bit of spillage.

You can use it in the shower too, you just need to learn the right angle to put it in.

I have a bathmate too, besides not having a gauge, the bathmate has some pros, even gaugeless, there’s a limit of pressure you can use, which is when all the water remain is out. And when I compare the feeling of it to a vacuum pump, would be somewhere near 7~8hg.

8hg is a little high but that’s the limit, even if you wanted you can’t go higher than that. And also you’re on a heated environment with hot water, which helps reduce injuries, plus you feel the pressure all over your penis, specially the base.

With the vacuum I usually only feel the pressure on the top of my penis. Not sure if that’s a problem though but it’s a difference.

have a question would the gauge from a mityvach read water vaccum the same as air vac… I am not worried about water damaging it , I’ve done it many times just curious if 4 inches of air is same as 4 inches water

So basically there is no water pump with a gauge? Why hasn’t someone made this? Is everyone just trying to explode their penis? I doubt most people have the self-awareness to always accurately feel the how much HG the pressure is. I would constantly be worried.

Wouldnt this affect the gauge level? Like the gauge is measuring the pressure in the air, and meanwhile your penis is in a sealed container with water pressure? I know nothing about physics but that must do something with the measurements of the gauge?

It probably does, and that’s the point TG raised in his response. You know what, this is a good question. I’ll ask them!

So, I contacted Steve from Thickwall and he confirmed that the pressure gauge will be correct both with water and air pumping. Means you can use your Thickwall pump and be as careful as you want to be!

Hi MisterW, thank you for contacting him! That’s good news. So you just buy a regular pump + cylinder, and then put the water trap on it? Since you say the thickwall pump loses vacuum and is not that convenient would another cylinder work as well then?

Btw, even though my location says Germany I am currently living in the US. I see Thickwall is from the UK, is there a similar brand in the US?

Thanks!

Memento put the pieces together in another thread. He suggested a leluv cylinder, a brake bleeder pump found on amazon or harborfreight, and a male to male quick release fitting found on the leluv site. This can be used for air or water pumping and has gauge.

Cylinder:

Replacement Cylinders w/ Female Q.R. Fittings for Advanced & Premium Vacuum Penis Pumps @ $25.99

Connector:

Male to Male Quick-Release Fitting for Vacuum Pump Cylinders - Single or 2-Pack @ $8.95

Pump can be bought from amazon:

HFS (TMTm) 2 in 1 Brake Bleeder & Vacuum Pump Test Tuner Tool Kit New @ $24.99

Hi 4YearsBigWeen, thanks for the post! This is helpful and sorry for the late response. Should I still be getting the Water Trap suggested earlier in the thread with this setup or is this sufficient?

Many thanks!
