Vacuum Pumping 101

I am on my second day pumping and was wondering what you guys do to prevent the skin around the bottom of the penis shaft being sucked into the tube, or in a way so it does not hurt. I am 6x5(thickest part), and was recommended 2x9 cylinder by LADIST. I also have an upward bend and slightly left bend aswell, so I need the 2” to fit in initially. It is sort of painful, not much but a little when the surrounding skin is sucked in.

Hi, gator. Try cinching your balls with something - a cock ring if you have one. Don’t make the cinch too tight. Balls are precious and need a continuing blood supply.

Not just my balls, but the circle area around the shaft that is exposed inside the cylinder, I would say it is my fat pad (even though I am very fit).

Because you are 5” thick at your widest, including the base, you will be getting more skin at the base of your shaft sucked into the tube during pumping. If it’s painful, it’s probably because you’re new to pumping and also perhaps you’re using too high vacuum pressure. Reduce the pressure so that there’s less pull on your skin and less discomfort. I understand your buying the 2”x9” tube with your particular dick shape and circumstances. Since this is the size you have, you’ll have to work slowly and build your girth at the base (it will happen). The time will come when you pack the base of your dick quickly and won’t experience the same skin pull.

I just started pumping recently, and I have noticed that I get a lot more scrotum skin pulled up into the tube when I use any lube at all. Makes sense I guess, but it is damn annoying since I like to jelq before I pump.

The first time it happened I was reading a book while I was in the tube, and suddenly noticed some discomfort on my testicles…looked down and my whole dang nut sack had been sucked into the tube, pulling my nuts up tight against the rim. Not pleasant.

Do you jelq after pumping as well? Or just before?

I’ve been meaning to ask you…you said that you use an ace wrap instead of the thera-p these days…right?

I had to search forever and pay way more than I wanted to for my one thera-p.

Please tell me the type and way you use the ace wrap, I think it would probably be easier than trying to order another thera-p.

No need to get excited! LOL. The ACE elbow wrap is about 14.5 inches long and 2 inches wide. The day I can’t wrap the 14.5” around my dick is the day I know I’ve gone too far and need psychological treatment for my PE addiction.

This wrap is very comfortable and easily goes around both ballsac and dick. You can always buy an extra one and cut it down to size, if you just want something less bulky to wrap around the base of your dick only for engorgement. By the way, the velcro stickiness on this thing never seems to wear down.

Now, I have to admit that when I’ve done an aggressive marathon pumping session, there has been an 8” plus bloblike girth to my dick at the base, albeit temporary.

Hey guys,

(I posted this in another thread, but thought I’d reprint it over here.)

I am taking a measurement twice a day, once in the morning when I first get up, then again in the evening. It is giving me a lot of useful information as to what effect my pe is having.

As far as my pumping routine, I am doing 3 sets of 5 minutes under IR heat. I then remove the heat and do 5-10 minutes cool down WHILE IN THE TUBE!

Between sets of 5 minutes, I have started to jelque. I only do it about 2 minutes, and will work up to 5 minutes.

While in the tube during my vacuum sets, I kegel. I try to hit about 100 reps each set.

As I said before, I find that I am getting good steady progress at about 2-3 in hg!

If I measure slightly shorter, I will skip the pumping for the day.

I try to use ADS during the day as long as possible…and here is what I’ve found.

One ring (Montys) will not stress my unit at all, almost therapeutic.

Two rings will give a gentle productive stretch that I can use even if I need a rest from pumping.

Three rings becomes a form of pe that will produce stress. This means I can’t do this in an unlimited fashion. It will count toward recovery time, meaning it will stress my unit and add to the amount of recovery needed.

What I see happening is that with time you can slowly increase the amount of stress you can apply to your unit and have it be productive, and recover enough that you can do it daily.

I find that at first with this routine, I would have to skip every other day, now I can do it daily, although I think daily has slowed my progress slightly.

I think the real trick is the frequent mild stimulus is more productive than massive stress less frequently.

If you aren’t frequently measuring, you’re really just guessing as to what is going on.

Many times you don’t make corrections until it becomes drastic and obvious…way late!

At the point you have major shrinkage or loss of erectile quality and quanity, you would require a layoff of a week or more to get back on track.

This is why many guys have limited results, really constantly over doing it.

To follow up on the above post.

I think one of the real advantages of pumping is the ability to accurately measure your progress every time you pump.

I didn’t have calibration on my tube (aquarium gravel cleaner) but I found that nail polish (red) works better than anything else I’ve tried.

I mark at 1/4 inch increments.

By measuring 2x/day, I’ve really been learning a lot!

Like I’ve said above, my routine is really minimal….and I’ve been at (PE) this for over a year!

I really think during most of that year, I have been doing too much. Too much and too many variables tossed in.

I think that if you are having problems making gains, cut back to a minimum, like mine.

Calibrate your pump and start to see what results you are getting from your routine.

These are fairly good guidelines (my opinion);

Start with a minimum, like 3 sets of 5 minutes at 2-3 in hg, start with every other day.

Measure daily!

If you are not getting bigger, but have improved erections…increase the amount of pe. I think going to daily is the best next step. After that, I think adding jelquing is great. Next step after that would be go up incrementally in time and or vacuum force. So far, I see no need for most of us to go over 5 in hg. (going higher is advanced technique, that MUST be guided by real knowledge of your physiologic indicators).

If you are not getting bigger, but have DECREASED erections (quality and quantity), decrease the vacuum to 1-2 in hg.

This is a good starting point. If you are measuring and paying attention to the quality and quantity of your erections, you should be able to steer your pe into steady progress!

I have been seeing about 1/8 inch increase a week for the past 2 weeks I’ve been doing this.

Sometimes I get enthusiastic and add a little too much, but my measurements will immediately show that I’ve over done it.

I respond by cutting back that day. By the end of the day, I find that I am back to where I was, or slightly more.
