Vacuum Pumping 101

I have built me a pump a month ago but I am filling it up already and I want to be ready to do the transition (you know what they say about being proactive). So I went to the Tap Plastics website and they ONLY sell the clear tubes by 6ft (I emailed them asking for cheaper shortest tubes and they told me NO they cannot sell you less than that, which is about $40!). Somewhere in this forum I read that they got the size they wanted from this people and they didn’t spend more than 10 bucks. Did I read that wrong?

I’m too scared to do this. I don’t want to damage my penis. For obese people I still think the best thing for them is losing weight. Then they can try something else if their still not satisfied.

I’ve noticed I don’t wake up with erections anymore so I don’t know if I’m having nocturnal erections. This penis pumping could do what’s not being done at night if I truly did lose my nocturnal erections. I haven’t woke up with an erection in months.

I would prioritize improving my health and losing weight first and foremost, which should improve your EQ from where it currently is and should help alleviate your ED symptoms.

Good morning TP friends. Couple question s. I measure between 6.25 and 6.5 at the base depending on arousal. 5.75 meg. I bought the 2.25 tube according to the chart suggestions. I am more concerned with length. Looking to gain .5 inch more length and get 6” to 6.5”meg. The tube looked large. Wasn’t sure if it was too wide?(my inexperience with pumping).

Also, should I use a silicone tube to compress any edema after a pumping session? Or just let it hang normal inside my boxers without any type of compression wrap? Thanks guys.

You should enter the tube erect when you pump, so your base girth will fit your 2.25” tube perfectly.

If you are not yet pumping, what edema are you trying to compress with your silicone tube? The best thing to do is pump without causing trauma. After your pumping session just try edging for 5 to 15 minutes to enjoy your post pump size and then just let it hang naturally for the rest of the day.

Interesting impact - air vs water

Hi all,

Been following an interval driven water pump routine, light stretch warmup under a hot shower, then 5 min sets, 3-5inhg vacuum, using hot water with a cold water final set, 1 min slow jelqing in between. Over time I’ve worked my way up to 1 set of 4inhg, 4 sets 5inhg, 1 set 6inhg, final cold water set at 5inhg. No issues, no donuts, etc., very pleased with the slow approach, the cold water finish removes all discoloration, leaving my unit fat, pink and happy. The jelq between sets does the same in terms of discoloration.

So yesterday, I was messing around with using a cock ring after my routine and wondered if I could use it in the cylinder. So, not wanting to mess with the water setup, I just grabbed the pump and cylinder, hooked it up and did a quick run air pump, less than a minute at 5inhg, just a quick inflate to see what happened with the ring. Bingo - my first donut hit. The donut went away quickly, but returned today under my normal routine, but just barely. So it’s rest time for me to rest or do a wrap or condom pump, most likely I’ll just take the rest of the week off.

Given the rather small amount of time at a pressure less than my max, but in air rather than water, would this be an indication that perhaps there is some benefit to water vs. Air pumping or do you think I just hit a stress tipping point (adding one minute more than I was used to)?

It’s hard to say. Just keep experimenting the way to are to find out what works best for you.

Don’t know anything good or bad about vitamin A&D oil. Just try it and see how it works.

I recently tried my Penomet again at full pressure with hot water and got way less expansion and way less of a feeling of pressure than six or 7 inches of mercury with air. I need to try water with my hand pump and gauge because I think there’s a big difference between the pressure exerted with water and air…I don’t know why but it feels completely different.

If the vacuum remains steady, the force applied to the penis is the same with either water or air.

It is only with fast varying vacuum that there might be a small difference, and that only happens if there is NO air at all in the entire water system.

I think when people report differences between air and water pumping it is because of other effects. Like the water temperature causes the penis to expand/contract different to their air pumping, or maybe just because with water pumping they have a different routine (like more/less stretching before, standing/sitting, different room, some difference like that).

I Have Problem

I had ed due to over pumping for alone time. Is there any cure for that condition?

How Much Pressure?

How much vacuum should I be ideally using and for how long? I started out at about 5-7 in HG for about 5 minutes then took a break and Jelqed for a bit then went back in to pumping a time or 2 more. At one point I got a bit excited and was up to 10 Hg for a few seconds. I can see that if I kept with that I would have a doughnut. When I pulled my dick out of the tube and got soft it felt like I temporarily gained a bit of forskin. That much pull may be too much. Another thing I am noticing since I tried pumping 10 years ago briefly is my pumping session makes me precum and I never have before.

Hi everybody. I’m just wondering if any of the knowledgeable people on here can provide any insight on the injury I caused myself from over training from pumping at high pressure. 1 week ago during my pump session, which I’m sure I had on too much pressure, I felt a sharp pain on the underside of the head. Not on the head but on the end of the shaft. Right where I was experiencing mild “donut effect” apparently. Days prior I noticed a vein swelling up by the head that I’ve never seen before that seems to wrap around underneath the head like a donut. This vein, where it wraps around to the underside, is what I think I injured, because thats where I had the sharp pain and a week later it still persists.. I’ve also had pain along sides of shaft, a dull aching tightness feeling in my pelvic floor, and hard flaccid..

After letting it rest for a week, other than sex with gf twice, erection quality is returning (difficult maintaining erections still though).flaccid state is not as hard and dead feeling.. But this sharp pain still persists and now has me very concerned for I figured it would’ve healed by now.. Can anyone just tell me if they’ve had this type of pumping injury in the same spot.. Did it heal? How long did it take? Is it a reoccurring thing now, like that spot is permanently weakened?

Couple things: I’m 39. Healthy. This happened in only my 3rd week of training. Was doing extender/jelqing/pumping combo. My main purpose of PE was to straighten a curve. And this injury seems to have caused my whole penis to become smaller and the curve even more significant. I hope this is just because its in a healing state.
