Once in a while you get a day when you seem more prone to red dots, for no particular reason. Other reasons may be increasing the vacuum too quickly, or that you had done a bit more than usual the preceeding couple of days and your penis needed a day off, or in my case it’s usually after I’ve had a break from pumping.

It’s always better to release vacuum fairly slowly, although that may be over 15-20 seconds rather than just dumping the vacuum in one go.

Take a day off. If it happens again after the day off, take 3 days off then try again.

I have a question for you all. I use to get the post pump doughnut all the time especially when going above 6-7 hg however the last 2 months I do not get the doughnut at all no matter what hg I reach in a routine. My typicall routine is the 15 minute incremental session. 4 hg for 5 minutes, 5 hg for 5 minutes, and 6-7 hg (sometimes up to 8!!) for 5 minutes and I do 2 to 3 sets no more than 3 days a week usually only 2 days a week but trying to get to 4 days a week. Somedays I will clamp for 1 10 minutes session post pump and I just haven’t experienced the doughnut no matter how long I pump. On the negative side of this my post pump expansion does not last as long . But I do maintain a good post pump flaccid for a few days. Does this explanation make sense? Has anyone else experienced this? Could I be in a good growth phase?

So I am a newbie as well and I had the same problem. The tube kept wanting to pull my balls right into the tube. However, through trial and error I found that if I first start with warm ups to get the blood flowing and start the pump while standing up I don’t have the same problem. I stand with one leg up on a seat or flat surface and let my penis hang. I place the pump firmly against my pubic bone then begin to pump. I pump in increments. Bring it to 5 and hold for 2 minutes.. Then slowly release and fully remove the pump. I do this 4-5 times until I’m swollen enough that there is not enough room for my balls to slip in. Once I have a full pump I hold it for 8-10 minutes. This is with my air pump.

That said. A great investment is a water pump. I just got one two days ago and I’m thrilled with it!

I’ve been pumping for the last week l am uncircumcised, l really am enjoying pumping and seeing good gains I’ve also been doing about a 1 hour session. The problem I’m having is I seem to be getting the donut effect when I’m done. It does go away within a few hours. But I’m just concerned if this is just stretching my foreskin or if just a normal result? Really looking for more dick not more foreskin.

If you’ve only been pumping a week, an hour is too long. Stop before the donut develops. Have you tried pulling your foreskin back before pumping? Around the foreskin or circ scar is the most common place to get donuts, but if you can avoid them you should - I am circumcised, but have more foreskin now from lots of pumping.

Yeah i pull forskin back and your right I probably am over doing it. I was hanging with a bib so I figured I could handle a good long punp. Swelling does go down after a few hours but I don’t want to cause any damage.

I just ordered my 1.5 X 2 elliptical thickwall cylinder from Vacutech. The site said the cylinder was in stock, but I received an email last night informing me the lucite to make my item is out of stock and on back order. No idea when I will receive my order… Bummed!

I noticed that I wasn’t holding the post pump expansion for as long as I use to with the 15 to 20 minutes sets at 3 to 7 hg so the last 3 days I have been experimenting with 1 40 to 45 minute set from 3 to 5 hg and I’m staying plump for alot longer again and with hardly any doughnut effect. I have been pumping for a year and a half so I am conditioned. Anyone else notice this? Meaning as you get conditioned you need to increase the time in the tube or more sets to get the same post pump expansion that you use to get.

Newbie here, and have reading through this thread I am very very tempted to purchase a pump. The gains people are mentioning sound amazing!

Is there any other newbies who could recommend a good starting pump? I hear good things about the water pumps but would be a little impractical for me, also, anyone who is/was below average that used a pump? Would appreciate any knowledge/tips on how to get the most out of a pump for a smaller guy :)

I just started pumping. I was wondering asides from the opening topic you would recommend. I heard some people putting a warm rice sock around the cylinder for constant heat?

I’m thinking of this routine:

- 2-3mins warmup
- Pumping schedule from topic starter
- 10mins jelqing
- 2-3mins warm sock cooldown

I started pumping at 2 HG. Is this ok as a start? When should I start upping the HG’s?

Also I notice that my pump size actually decreases during the pump? I go in 100% erect and when I am 10 minutes later I lost 1 inch. Is that normal?

Or you are loosing vaccum (less hg) or you are loosing erection.

Hi Jolie,

You should not be losing your erection under vaccum. If anything, you should be gaining.

Like the last poster said, you may be loosing vacuum. This maybe because of a bad seal, e.g. long public hair, or not enough vacuum to keep a good seal.

2Hg is even low for a Newbie. Even I started at 3Hg, and I’m a bit of a girl ;) I was also pumping for only 7 minutes when I started. So if your a little nervous upping the vaccum, you could reduce the time to compensate.

You could also watch some porn, for added stimulation, but this should not be necessary under vaccum. Remember heat as well.
