Vacuum Pumping 101

Now I’m doing so:
2 session x day.
In the morning
Warm up 5 minute, 3 minutes jelq and then 10 minutes pump
In the afternoon
Warm up 5 minute, 3 minutes jelq and then 10 minutes pump

From PE exercises and pumping, I’ve gained some base girth and this is a little off topic but I was wondering does base girth benefit you in sex?

If you stick it in far enough! It also provides a little ‘stability’ to the penis.

Hey guys, I find that I cannot maintain an erection when I pump, I can start out erect, but it slowly fades over the course of the 10 minutes. By the time I stop and I take my penis out it is completely flaccid. Will this effect my potential gains? Have any of you had a similar issue, if so, how did you solve it/ did it turn out that you still made gains?

That is totally normal. Most guys will come out of the tube soft. However, you should still be at ‘full size’ while you are in the tube, under vacuum. If you are shrinking in the tube, you are not maintaining vacuum - get a gauge if you don’t have one, so you know you are not losing vacuum. Also shave around the base of your penis to help keep a seal if that is a problem.


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

Johnkool4, throughout my PE career I have pumped irrespective of erection level or presence and in most cases I have not had a full erection when coming out the tube. None the less I have continued to gain in both length and girth.

Would you say there is no value in trying to stimulate yourself (for example, via porn) to maintain an erection once you’re under vacuum?

One of the great things about pumping is that you can do other things at the same time, like read or watch TV or browse the internet or whatever. It doesn’t require lots of time and attention, so you’re more likely to keep up a routine. If you try to maintain a full erection the whole time you pump (20-30+ minutes/day, typically), you’re going to get really sick of pumping fast, regardless of whether it might lead to slightly better gains.

Yeah, I would much rather spend the pumped time reading than viewing porn. I’ve been doing the porn thing for the short pumping sessions I’ve done, but as you say, that gets old really quickly. Going to pick up a book next time and let the vacuum do its thing!

If one is after girth only, which of these post workout methods do you guys think is the best?
* Long anti-turtle silicone sleeve and an ADS
or
* Tight cock-ring and regular massaging

So far I’ve only tried the sleeve and to my experience, all the expansion disappeared very quickly as the sleeve compresses the penis instead of letting it stay engorged, to me this seem counterproductive :?:
I’ve read a lot lately about HRT (over at MOS, which you cannot comment on without paying first) but also about old techniques where veterans here were doing girth and length at the same time and gained the most girth.

If anyone wants to know, I just started again and my routine consists of clamped squeezes combined with water pumping, every day, once a day soon to be three times a day.

Newb, needs some help. Read that 5 psi should not be exceeded. My gauge says hg, is this equivalent? Also my guage has 2 sets of numbers, one whole numbers, one with tenth place after decimals, which is correct?

I wonder b/c, 5 hg does not feel like much of a pull, and isn’t even enough to get my penis fully erect. Also I see pics of guys my size or below, that come out of their pump, swollen and meaty. Mine doesn’t seem to get any swell or stretch. All answers would be appreciated. Thanks.

inHG is the scale you want. I think some guys just say psi because they are used to gauges for pumping their tyres up! Without seeing you guage I’m not sure what the other scale is, but just use the hg scale. 5hg is not a huge pull but if you are leaving your penis under vacuum for more than a very short time, it is enough.

You should be going into your cylinder already erect if you can. I only get the swollen/meaty look if I stay in the cylinder for a very long time indeed. Don’t worry about it.

I’ve been retired from PE for a few years and haven’t lost much except for some girth gains. I did all the regular PE jelqing then got into hanging with a bib and when I quit I was around 7 x 5 1/2 (started at 6 x 4) Over the past few years I have noticed I lost some girth in that my shaft tapered down some toward my glands. I started getting back into jelqing and started reading about this pumping. So I bought a vacuum pump and made a tube. I have only been pumping a few days now and it reminds me of back when I got the “newbie” gains because my Johnson is responding to this and I’m loving it. My girth is almost back to where I started when I had stopped PE. I’m using a 1.75” tube now and it’s already too small because I’m packing it pretty good. I have a 2” tube I’m about to start using and I can’t wait to see what kind of gains this is going to give me. I’m only pumping to 5-6Hg for 10 minutes 2 times a day.
