Vacuum Guage

Was wondering if there is a thread already explaining how to read Hg Vac gauge. The gauge i have reads from zero to 30 in black outer and negative -10 to -100 kpa in read. When they say to start off between 2-3 hg does that mean zero to 5 area just below 5? Asking cus I tried it today for 10 minutes just below the 5 in black area close to -10 in red and hardly felt anything.

The readings in the black area are in inches mercury and that is the scale we use. Everyone seems to sense vacuum pressure differently. Some guys are more sensitive that others and some like you don’t feel it so much. But don’t go higher then 5”hg (inches mercury) for several days as your cock becomes accustomed to pumping. After that, keep 8”hg as you max, but go there slowly by conditioning yourself to 6 and then 7 along the way.

After that, the benefits from pumping can be maximized by increasing your pump time up to 20-30 minutes continuous.
