The DVD, is it that important?

Hello guys!

I’m about to order my LAPDIST pump, following the advice of some of you, and I’m trying to figure out what does that DVD (part of the DELUXE pack, etc) includes. Is it really that important, or can I save 20 dollars? I’m not swimming on money, so, if you think I can save some, just let me know!

P.S.: It’s not as if I’m asking you for a pirate copy of the dvd, I just want to know it’s really worth the money, or if it only contains the same advices I can find here on the forums. ;)

I wouldn’t waste my time looking for it Gui_DG. If it is anything like the CD I got with my Vacutech pump, it is garbage. One of the other guys that have a LA Pump should post their opinion soon.

No, do not buy the DVD. I would buy the pump at harbour Freight and buy LA’s cylinder.

The DVD is a little too much like soft gay porn, also some hawking of commercial products that I didn’t find particularly useful. The only real take home messages are these: your overall health, which can be improved through regular exercise and good nutrition, plays a vital role both in terms of current performance, and future PE gains:make yourself comfortable and enjoy the routine(speaking in relative terms): appreciate your current state of penile health.

If it’s the same version that I got with my LA Dist pump, it’s worthless. Just a lot of hooey about maintaining good sexual health, much of which you have known for years. There is no effective information on it about good pumping practices.

Ask them if they will give you a better price if you don’t take the DVD. I’ve heard they will.

The DVD was worse than useless, it was gross. I wish I had thought to ask for a better deal on the package without the DVD.

I don’t know if they ship to where you are but worth a look. It is the exact same pump that LADP sells and for a lot less. You can probably find one at an EU tool site or eBay. Mcmaster will sell you the connectors or you can buy them for a few $ from LA when getting the cylinder.

No DVD and buying the pump from a tool store and you have just lowered the price of your penis pump gear by $50 or so.

iamaru, thanks for the link!!! I will try to find out if they ship to Portugal! I know lapdist do, and I know I can buy them the cylinder only! Anyway, where can I find the connectors you’re telling me about? I really do not know what a connector is anyway, and I can’t seem to find them on the lapdist website!

Any help would be great… after all, a pump may not be that expensive, right?

If ordering like this would force you to pay international shipping costs it might not be worth it. Either find a local supplier or send an email to the guy at LA pumps, “Hi, I wish to buy a 2X10” tube and the coupler that goes on top. What part number do I order to get the coupler?”

LOL YES it was garbage! It was more along the lines of a porno than an instructional video.

Yeah, it really got weird when when the naked guy was lying in bed rubbing himself. I stopped the video at that point and tossed it in the trash.
