I have read about ball pumping some time back (either here at TP or at pegym, don’t remember exactly. Sorry about that). There are some people who do that and report a better hang of the nut sack. However, I have never dared to venture there. :D

I can see your logic in thinking that, and it is not at fault. I actually would have thought the same, however people who have done this type of combined exercises actually repoty otherwise in general. I think Titleist is right

Exactly the same, X30. I heard that it cant happen with the newer model with the gray gaiter-thing but i can assure you it can! I’ve found heating my scrotum and spending a minute stretching it out a little prevents this though.

Same, I had not heard of it before. Where did you hear about this idea Naked Tomato? Did you invent this?

From what I’ve read of actual research the mechanisms of action of the VED and PTT are different. They’ve actually measured the differences when evaluating the devices for use in Peyronies treatment. Both have been found to yield positive results but in a different way and you can’t help but wonder if there is not the potential for synergies. Fact is though I haven’t been able to find anything out there in terms of combining the therapies. But I am curious about it. Especially since mild use of the VED has been so useful in rehabilitation of ED.

Thing is that given that I still see progress on the traction, I don’t want to explore it till those have been largely depleted. And the other thing is that the combined protocols would be so very complex that I would want the traction contribution to be a maintenance protocol so that the introduction of the VED could be better controlled.

The closest that I’ve seen to this idea is what thoughtfulgold is doing by using the narrower tube and then varying the pressure essentially combining the stretching force and the blood infusion into the tissues in one protocol using just the VED.

I think what you’re doing here is interesting.

Back on topic:

I got a pump last week, after the normal try it out and do silly things newbie stuff, I have realised that the vacuum pumping 101 thread by Avocet8 is brilliant.

I have attempted to do post pumping stretching (as well as pre-pump stretching), for me it isn’t really possible immediately after pumping, I have to wait until fully 100% flaccid again to be able to stretch which is something like 30 mins later. If I try to stretch close to the end of a pumping session is feels the same as pulling on a rope and there is no stretch. At least I didn’t notice anything stretching.

Will try it out a bit longer and see if I notice something, I’m still a newbie so not fully aware of things as yet.
