Silicone seal
Getting a good seal with the universal silicone replacement seal. Just wondering if its okay to use and if any one has had results with it.

Which silicone seal are you talking about? Do you have a link to it, or a picture? I have a 4” silicone seal that fits my sun tea jar (STJ) and LongJohnny tube, but I doubt that is the size you are talking about.
What size cylinder do you have and does it have a flange or no flange?
Generally speaking, if it fits the equipment you are using, then of course it is OK to use and silicone seals last a long time.
The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Though it costs a little under $30, I found the thick silicone gasket offered by pump toys to be the most comfortable and longest lasting seal/cushion on the market. I have purchased three of them over my seven year pumping career as cylinder sizes had to be increased.
Start 11/09 BPEL: 5.5", EG: 4.4"
Current. BPEL: 6:4", EG: 5.5"

Size Matters Cylinder Soft seal
Their seal is comfortable and allowed a larger than needed cylinder to be used without
Testicles following, but it did not last very long before the opening cut and ran.
