Yes those are good choices. Are you sure you only want an 8" cylinder and not a 9"?

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I figured that because my EL is 5.75 at best, an 8 inch cylinder would suffice for now, no?

Anyways, I measured my BG again and it looks like it’s between 4.75 to 5 and since I’m going for length gains, should I go with the 1.75 cylinder? I assumed 1.5 initially so I bought the gravel cleaner that came with a 1.5 cylinder and used it by sucking the air through the tube and I packed the cylinder way before I hit my normal EL in the tube.

@cruzing: Link doesn’t work.

Where can I buy a pump and are they expensive?

You can’t force length by using a cylinder that is too small. Stick to my size table and that means use a 1.75” cylinder. I guess the 8” should last you, but there is no extra charge for the 9”. Only thing is you might look larger in the 8”. :)

The most expensive thing seems to be shipping to Australia. Do you have any local sex shops?

That is good to know.

Supersize, that is where I would shop. If you buy a starter package which is a pretty good deal, just handle the plastic pump with care as plastic pumps have a history of handle breakage. Shouldn’t be an issue as long as you don’t use it roughly.

Thanks heaps guys! Will do in the future if my newbie routine doesn’t show gains!

How do you pick cylinder Diameter when:

1) Girth is on the border to the next cylinder diameter recommendation.
2) Base girth is greater than Mid girth (Base 6.5-6.75 & Mid is 5.5-5.7)

I would like to see more base girth growth as well, & not focusing just on mid-girth

So if my Base girth is about 6.75, the recommendation is 2.25” diameter, but if Base girth is 6.875, the recommendation is for 2.5” diameter.

My primary focus is Girth work, not length (although I’ll take any length gains I can get)

I think since you are focusing on girth, you can make the 2.5” cylinder work. If you use it with lube and find your balls getting sucked into the tube, try using it without lube.

I always pump now with a tube one size larger then I can pack and use it without lube.

Thank you gprent. That’s interesting because getting my balls sucked in is certainly one of my concerns. I suppose I could also get the 2.25” tube if 2.5” too much to start with. Also, thanks for the comment on using lube or dry.

I’ve been also wondering which pump to get.

I hear good things about water pumps, but if I have to use it in the bath, then I wouldn’t use it as much.

If you, or anyone else can guide me on which one to use, with so many options, that’d be great. I’m thinking about a manual pump, w pressure release & guage, high quality & willing to spend $150++

No, you don’t water pump in the bath. You fill the tube about halfway with water and then put it on trying to spill as little as possible. But I wouldn’t start with water pumping. Start with air pumping and eventually you may want to graduate to water.

I think it is best when first starting to just buy a turn key complete system so you can take it out of the box and go. One of the best deals for this is penisdepot.com and the price includes shipping. Go to this page and buy the metalvacII pump with one or 2 rimmed straight wall cylinders for $125 or $170. I think you can stick with just one 2.5” cylinder myself. Once you click on buy now, you will be able to select the cylinder diameter and the length is always 9”.

Here is the order page:

Hey gprent. Sorry for late reply. I had to leave for a meeting.

Thank you so much for the detailed info. Much appreciated!

At 8” is 9” cylinder not long enough? I thought the cylinder was supposed to be 2-3 inches longer to accommodate the expansion.

I’d go for a cylinder with 3” extra.
