Selecting Your Cylinder Size

Sorry if this has been answered already — but what exactly is the issue with getting a tube that is too big. Based on the recommendations, I should have a tube with either 1.75 or 2.0. However, the set I bought came with a 2.25. It also came with a silicone sleeve. With the sleeve attached, everything is very tight and no chance that a testicle could be sucked in. So far, it seems fine, but I am new to this and do not want to hamper possible gains with the wrong equipment.

Thanks

It really depends on your personal opinion.

Since you have a sleeve to prevent Balls being sucked in it doesn’t matter too much haveing a larger size. than your unit.

There is a small problem that some of your belly skin and flesh round the base of the penis could be sucked in, and since it is a tender area you could possibly have discomfort. But this is mainy only a problem if the tube is way too large.

I have used a 3 inch tube without getting my balls sucked in and there was no problem for me. To a certain extent it depends on how much punishment your balls can take.

Petitfaun is right— it’s about what’s comfortable for you. What I thought was mostly comfortable with a silicon seal ended up being no where as comfortable as a correctly sized tube. The only thing I can say in addition is that depending on how the seal works, your penis might expand into it; if there’s any kind of edge to it, as your penis expands into the tube, it might start to leave a mark. I noticed a red ring around the base of my penis when I was using a seal, and while it didn’t exactly *hurt*, it wasn’t the most comfortable. (It would go away, nothing permanent mind you). Now, with the right sized tube, I can start to pack it and the pressure is constant on my cock from the base all the way up—no uneven surfaces to contend with.

May I also make a plug here for pumping with warm water and taking frequent short breaks to rub new blood into the penis? That is pretty much the best way to get a very consistent (read: no lumps or donuts) and rapid gain.

Good luck!

If I wanna pump for length, what cylinder size do I need?

I already have a 2” and my glans (5.5 girth) touches the sides of that yet midshaft (4.5 girth) doesnt touch the cylinder at all and the base (5.125+ girth) touches the cylinder up and down due to my thick CS at the base, so because of the height not wide. I also pack the cylinder up to about 2-3 inches from the base.

Most of my shaft is in the 4.5 girth range. I was thinking about 1 1/2 diameter with 9 inches of length or is that too small?

I’ve got a 1.5” x 9” cylinder and my MSEG is 4.25”. I’m not sure what defines “packing” but I’m definitely touching the sides to the point where its hard to get the cylinder off sometimes. Its hard to say if this would be uncomfortable for you though. It might be a little tight for your glans it would seem.

Wow, Pillars, I’m thinking that a 1.5” cylinder would be a mistake for you. I’m not sure you would even fit in a 1.5” cylinder. Did you read the thread about the guy who had a 2.0” cylinder, bought a 1.75” cylinder on that same theory, and did not even get one use out of it? He wound up putting it up for sale.

It sounds to me like your current cylinder should allow you to develop more length. I guess I’m not in the school that says the best way to get length from pumping is to totally pack the tube such that no further girth expansion is possible and all force is focused on your glans and longitudinal expansion. That sounds like a recipe for water blisters on the glans to me.

In looking back at that, I also found your earlier post Pillars - Selecting Your Cylinder Size. Have you changed your focus from girth to length?

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

Lampwick, right now I indeed have changed from girth to length as I wasnt seeing any progress in (midshaft) girth while I was pumping for a few months. Although I did see small steady length gains at the time, I attributed this to my manual stretching not the pumping. But ofcourse I could’ve been wrong.

So on a second thought maybe 1.5 is indeed too small, but 1.75 might be ok, remember that most of the penis is 4.5 in girth and only 5.125 at the extreme base and 5.5 girth at the glans when expanded fairly well.

I should probably get the old 2” cylinder out of the closet for some fun and see how that goes for some months.

What if your goal is both length and girth, what cylinder to pick?

The one I bought is 22 cm by 6 cm. My dick is 5.7 x 5.5

Just as a follow up, my 1.75” was a perfect buy. I’m progressively packing it more and more, it’s super comfortable, and I can’t wait to move to a 2” in the future!

I just got the Kaplan pump with 2.25 cylinder,my base girth is 5.5 and m.g is 5.9, i am finding that the gauge is slowly moving down after i pump it up to about 5 or 6 hg,is it normal to have to continuously keep pumping it up to maintain a certain hg?

It is more likely that you do not have a good seal at the base; or the connector at the top may not be tight enough.

First try the base.

You need a good seal there. So removing some pubic hair may help. Otherwise. put some cream or lubricant on the base of the cylinder inside, outside, and on the edge. Then dpd the end of the cylinder in water for a second or two then ‘wear’ it. But before you pump just turn the end of the cylinder against your body . Just a half turn back and forward then, pressing the tube into your skin start pumping.

If that doesn’t work then check the top of the cylinder and if necessary tighten the connector. - BUT NOT OVERTIGHT a firm joint is all that is necessary.

Hope that helps

Petit

PS. Can you use I instead of i please, Thanks

I hate to be another person to ask about cylinder size, but I’m having trouble deciding between a 2.0” or a 2.25”. My base girth is ~6” and my mid-shaft is 5.75”. I was planning on just getting a 10” cylinder either way. I’ve also been looking at LA pump’s wide-mouth cylinder, which they only make up to 9”.

My main goal is length, but I definitely want to fill out my girth a little. I’m not looking for any massive girth gains, just really want to cement the 6” girth along the whole shaft and let the base and head go a little past 6. As for length, I’m at 7.75 with an erection level of 9 or so. And closer to 7.5” with a 7 or 8. I really want to get up to the solid 8” and then want to move on as I can from there with out any further girth gains.

I’m hoping I can get away with just buying one tube. Will a 2.25 give me too much room for girth growth, putting length in the back seat? I’m worried I’ll be able to pack the 2” right away, and then have it turn out I’m not capable of getting significant length gains from pumping, and I can’t even use that tube to fill out my girth anymore.

Your advice would be greatly appreciated. I only really have one chance to buy the right tube, I won’t be able to afford another one for a while.
