Hey Thunder’s Pumpers.

I have a little issue that I thought people might be able to help with (experience etc etc).

When I pump for an extended period of time (even on low pressure) I manage to pack a small cylinder.
However, the area just below the head (just above where the packing ends and it tapers) gets stretched and a little damaged.

Does anyone know what I’m referring too? The actual penis is fine, but the skin gets a little over stretched and I get a small red scab like tear almost, around the seam just below the head.

It isn’t that painful, but I usually have to let the skin heal for a few days, which kind of halts the progress I was achieving with the pump.

Anyway, what I’m asking is, aside from heat, sufficient moisture, and lower pump times, does anyone have any advice on how they’ve gotten around this issue?

I have never experienced that before, but it would help if you would fill in some details such as the pressure you normally use, how long in minutes is your extended pumping, and what size cylinder are you using? Is it 1.5” or 1.75” dia?


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

It’s a 1.75” cylinder and I’m pumping at about 4 or 5 hg. I’ll usually do one or two 15 / 20 minute sets to warm up at 2 or 3 hg, then I’ll do an extended pump for 1 or 2 hours. After 1.5 / 2 hours, I’m fully packing the cylinder.

And you wonder why you have damage !?!?

If you are going to use extended time you should reduce the vacuum to about 3Hg.

Your 20 minute session can be the time when you use the high vacuum.

So reverse the Hg on the session and only do one session of 1-2 hours a day. If you must do two session then just use the short time sessions.

Hey mate I am still battling that problem the lubricant you use has a bit to do with it I have found that baby oil with vitiman e has helped me.

Another thing to keep in mind also is the fact that you need to slowly stretch your skin out to meet the new size. I am also around the size that you are and I also have a 1.75” cylinder; if I was fully packing that I would definitely have tears as well. Here are some recommendations in terms of vitamins that help heal and keep your skin elastic:

Get vitamin A and C, and beta-Carotene, which can help your skin from damage and make your skin elastic.
Foods like Broccoli and Carrots are good. Also Omega 3 and Soy are apparently good for your skin.

On another note. I would suggest definitely slowing down on the extended pumping you are doing. Since we are pretty much the same size… I know that when I get my hand around my Penis my fingers overlap very easily. But if I Packed a 1.75” tube I think my fingers will only touch the tip of my thumb. This is some seriously huge expansion. Rushing will always lead to damage and slower gains. Might be best to just so 3 sets of 20 minutes for the time being. This way you can get your skin stretched and your penis better acquainted with what your doing. Furthermore you will be able to pump everyday without having to take repair breaks. What is really important to remember is when skin rips, when it repairs itself it becomes LESS elastic in most cases.. meaning if your letting it rip, you are ultimately capping the maximum you can gain simply because that part of your skin just wont stretch anymore.

I have had problems for several years with a small tear in the area your are describing (the sulcus). My dermatologist prescribed Cutivate (fluticasone propionate) 0.05% which takes care of the problem when it flares up. The skin in that area is very thin and susceptible to tears. My guess is it depends on whether or not you are cut, and if so, how tightly you were cut. In short, it’s an anatomy “feature” and varies with individuals.

My particular problem usually appears in one small area on the underside, and develops from rough/vigorous handling, which results in a small red line/tear. My tear is aggravated by using the “air-clamp” (clamping device) at too high a pressure for a long period of time. Curiously, when I do any pumping (I’m not a frequent pumper) the tear has not occurred. I imagine my air-clamp high pressure can be equated to your pumping at a high pressure, in that the skin is stretched/expanded far beyond it’s normal “configuration.”

The Cutivate lotion can be applied sparingly every few days to the sulcus (just a dot will suffice) as a preventive measure.

When I made the dermatology appointment I simply stated the problem of the skin tear, and did not go into detail about what I was doing to aggravate the problem. The doctor probably does not need to know that you are a pumper, only that your sulcus tears easily, causing you pain and discomfort.

DON’t DO ANYTHING FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME.especially if you are noticing things like this.discoloration, bleeding ect. You should stop for a day or two..

I used to bleed out of my urethra sometimes when stretching.but I was on a 3 day on 1 day off routine (sometimes I went all week and took 1 or 2 days off).now that I have gone to a 1 day on one day rr my erections are massive, and my gains are notcieable, not just when jelqing or pumping, they are real.I also decreased masturbation and stopped jelquing and pumping

I don’t think this is anything too serious. I had similar problems some years ago when pumping. The problem was that not enough skin was inside the tube before the vacuum seal was achieved. This meant that when my unit began to expand under vacuum the skin became over stretched resulting in tiny (but very sore) tears in the same area you experienced. The difficulty here is trying to avoid the scrotum being sucked into the tube whilst allowing in enough skin to allow for expansion. I usually managed to clear the problem by taking a few days off pumping and smearing antiseptic cream over the affected skin.

Bump this thread because I’m experiencing this right now.

I’m uncut and it seems that the foreskin that gathers just below the glans isn’t as elastic So after 3 x 10 minute sessions or more in the pump, it get micro tears in the skin. It heals in two days but is annoying. Sometimes I have to grit and bear it during sex even.
