Sorry to hear about your dad Ray, thank God it was only a mild one and nothing severe. I was actually thinking of bumping this thread to see if you had any updates. Maybe it might be time for you to consider adding clamping to your routine.

Thanks guys. Dad’s still doing well. I will advocate for pumping, because I gained a half inch girth that looks to be permanent in a year. I thought that was not much, but others have said it’s really good. One way or another, I’m not complaining. As far as adding clamping, I have a couple clamps, and have thought about adding clamping to my routine. But with current craziness in my schedule, I think it’s just time for a break. As I approach the end of my second year with my bathmate, I wonder if some of the strength of the bellows has been lost, and the pump now produces less vacuum. It doesn’t feel like it, but I’m not sure why I’m getting diminishing returns. Also,the bathmate bellows are leaving some really nasty rings around the base. So maybe a month or two off, and then I’ll start back, maybe treat myself to a Goliath model, or a dry pump, or a bib hanger, or maybe all three. Anyways, in the words of the Terminator, I’ll be back.

Well, today I got home from the gym, and grabbed my pump. I put it on at low vacuum, slowly increasing the vacuum over a ten minute warm up period. Just out of curiosity, I measured, and my girth was 5 3/4”, Then I did 100 wet jelqs, followed by another 10 minutes under higher vacuum, and my girth hit 6”, actually 6 1/8 to get real precise about it. So that was an encouraging session to be sure.

I’m sorry I haven’t been keeping up with this log. I have been pumping/working out one day on, two days off. My workout goes; fifteen minutes warming up in the bathmate, low vacuum moving to med-high vac for the last five minutes or so. Then one hundred wet jelqs, then high vacuum pumping for thirty minutes. Girth after warm up was five and three quarter inches. After thirty minutes of high vacuum pumping, girth was six and an eighth, maybe six and a quarter in some places. Edged for twenty minutes, after ten minutes girth was down to six inches, and at the end of twenty, it was down to five and seven eighths. I’ll be continuing with this workout schedule, unless I post something to the contrary.

Back into pumping, and am trying to figure out a workout schedule. You have had such great results, :jumpblue:

Was it a question of PI’s? As in Physiologic Indicators (PIs) to help growth!

Or based on the idea of needing more time between girth workouts?

Yeah, I’m not really sure what will be optimal, but I’ve decided to allow for more “healing” time between pumping sessions.

Today’s workout was 15 minutes warm up, 100 wet jelqs, and 30 v jelqs, followed by 30 minutes in the Bathmate. Post pump girth was 6” even. Edged for a half hour and by then girth had shrunk back to 5 5/8”.

Have your results been permanent? I read the first couple pages from 2011(ha!) so I’m not sure where you’re at now.

I’m just starting out with the newbie routine, but it hasn’t made any sense to me. I get the warm up and stretches, but I’ll be damned if I can’t keep a “60/80%” erection while trying to jelq. Plus when I did try it seemed my penis wanted to retract itself and get really thin, like I had just jumped in a freezing cold pool.

I’m thinking pumping is the way to go but I’m not sure. Are the results of pumping after a while permanent? Is it good to only pump if the exercises don’t feel right to me? Or any idea what I might be doing wrong?

I have a half inch in girth gains I would call permanent. I don’t think I’ve had any real, lasting gains since then though. So I am geting a bit frustrated. As far as having trouble with the newbie routine, I think everyone has a lot of questions about it at first, and it’s a good one to do just because you will learn a lot about how your penis reacts to stretching, and jelqing, and how much work you can do, and how much recovery time you’ll need. But I think theres a whole section of the forum dedicated to that.

So, worked out yesterday, after three days off. Thought maybe an extra day would help. But, I did a 20 minute warmup. 60 wet, followed by 30 v jelqs, then another 60 wet, and 30 v jelqs, then 30 minutes in the Bathmate. Girth was 6”, and after an edging session of 20 minutes it had shrunk to 5 5/8”. So, safe to say the extra day didn’t help much.

Still pumping, trying different rest vs. pumping schedules. I think one off, one on is still as good a way as any to go. Today I pumped for 20 minutes, including 10 minutes of warm up, did 100 wet jelqs then another 20 minutes of pumping, and at that point my girth was 6”, so stopped and edged for 20 minutes.
