Yes, the compression of the bellows can make a big difference. I’ve taken to using a separate ruler. I don’t really push against the pelvic bone, but instead I flush the bottom of the ruler with the foam comfort ring. Sometimes the length on the Bathmate ruler says 180, sometimes 190, but the external ruler says 7, or 7 1/8” when I start and may reach 7 3/8” by the end of 20 minutes. And for a truly accurate measurement, you should wait 48 hours. I get a 1/4” more in girth after pumping, which only lasted a couple hours when I started, but now last for about 24 hours.

So, you and I are opposites in what we gain. Length comes easier for me. But if you’re not trying to gain more girth, I’d steer clear of the Goliath. Once you’ve hit the walls of the cylinder your gains have to become focused on length. The Goliath will just continue to encourage girth expansion. If I were you, I’d concentrate on stretching, and doing whatever jelqs you decide on at a very low erection level.

I should add that I worked out/pumped today. Warm-up, stretches, 100 wet jelqs, 60 V-jelqs, followed by 50 wet jelqs, and another 50 V-jelqs, and then one final 50 wet/50 V-jelqs followed by 20 minutes hot water, 5 minutes cold, 5 hot, and finally 5 cold. 5 3/4” post session girth.

Pumped this morning. 20 minutes in warm water, a couple minutes of Firegoat rolls and about 5 minutes of cold water cooldown. I don’t think my girth got much over 5 1/2” though. I wonder why I can’t get back to hitting 6” post session. Weird.

If your unit reach 6” one time, it’s mean you could do it again, and more constantly I think.

It’s maybe a physiologic question, like little overtraining or like habit to break as in sport, or something else..

I’m not an expert in this kind of questions, but I think it could be interesting to have some other opinions about it.

Yeah, I figured I’d lode a bit, but be able to gain it back in a few weeks. It has been months now. I think.

Lol, that has always been a problem for me; jelling gives me a full erection. Maybe this is why I gain girth easier than length, I have been jelling at too high an erection level.

It could be. I think it’s more likely that you are just one of those few guys who can gain girth more easily than length.

I should add that yesterday afternoon I did a second Bathmate session. 20 minutes warm water, and a five minute cold water cooldown. Slept with my all night cockring/clamp thing on and woke to pretty awesome morning wood. 5 1/2” in girth. Gonna take today off though, I think two sessions a day may be a bit much.

Did you do warm first? Never try to stretch cold tissue. That is a recipe for disaster!

No, I didn’t do warm first. You’re right, cold tissue doesn’t stretch.

Yeah, try ten or twenty minutes of hot water, then five or ten really cold. I find it makes my plumped up flaccid remain fatter for longer. Of course your experience may be different, but I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Yesterday off, and I think probably today too. We’ll see if that helps at all. I’m a bit frustrated right now.

Did not quite get how you use a ruler, the bellows of the BM is in the way to make a correct measure so is it just a “guesstimate” by looking at the ruler a couple of inches away from the BM?
