Question about selecting cylinder size; European sources?

For my current girth (5.1”) recommended cylinder size is 1.75”. However, for my goal girth (5.75”) recommended cylinder size is 2”.

Does that mean I’ll need to buy both 1.75” and 2” cylinders or should I go with 2” straight away?

I’ve heard of testicles getting sucked in when using too big cylinder and I wouldn’t want that to happen, but cylinders are quite expensive as it is and I can hardly afford one, let alone two.

You’ve got choices.

You can buy a good 1.75 inch cylinder now, and be very happy when you outgrow it and need to move up to a 2.0 inch later.

You can buy a cheaper 1.75 inch cylinder now. The pump, gauge, tubing and male adapter are an investment that will move forward with you to the 2.0 inch cylinder when you need that, in the future. By buying a less expensive cylinder now, you’ve saved money that you can then apply toward the future tube.

You can buy a 2.0 inch cylinder now, and be very careful. You may need to pump at very low vacuum at the start of your session until you have enough base expansion to increase the vacuum slowly. Or you may want to use some sort of soft wrap (like a cloth wrap) around your testes where they meet your body to help keep them from getting drawn into the cylinder. And you’d want to be very careful about use of lubricant at the base, in that case.

Another option with the 2.0 inch cylinder would be some sort of cylinder cushion or sleeve, which will adapt the cylinder diameter down and help keep your testicle from being sucked into the cylinder.

From your reply, getting a 1.75” cylinder first is a much better and idea and keeps things simple…

Do you know any good cylinder stores in Europe? I was planning to buy from Thickwall Cylinders, but they’re too expensive for me to buy both cylinders from them.

According to their measuring guide, one should pick cylinder length 3” longer than his penis length. Since I’m nearly 7” BPEL now and plan to reach 7.5” BPEL, I suppose 10” would be better than 9” for me?

Potential cylinder prices:

10”x1.75” - £44 ($68.7)
10”x2” - £47 ($73.4)
9”x1.75” - £42 ($65.6)
9”x2” - £45 ($70.3)

If it has any relevancy, I’d like to buy myself a Mityvac MV8000 pump, but only if I don’t find anything in local car part stores.

Gprent’s guide here suggests 2 - 3 inches longer than your bone pressed measurement. If you’re nearly seven inches now, and you’re thinking about buying a 1.75 inch diameter tube, nine inches should be safe - although I notice that the 10 inch tubes are not that much more expensive.

I’ll retitle your thread to add that you’re looking for European tube sources; that might get you some responses on that point.

I managed to find Thuckwall Cylinders thanks to search, but you can go ahead and change the title, maybe I get some more good sources. :) Thanks for help.

I am just a pumping beginner.
I was in between sizes to and I chose the bigger one, I only pack the first cm or two at mostly skin at the base.
But no where near to have the testicles sucked in.
I though I might have got a to big one at first, but I get a decent seal and it works great.
I bought from thickwall to, I like my cylinder, but I have nothing to compare to.

I have an upward curve, I think the larger cylinder was a good choice because of that. Glans still touching the top part of the cylinder but I just lube it well.

I’ve got both 1.75 and 2”. I have about same base girth as you. My 2” tube is a 25 dollar Jim Diamond from picture bright, it has a flare at the bottom that makes sealing very easy. It’s not as comfortable as my Lapidst tube.

But I’m currently using the 2” and for the money it was a great deal.

Thanks for replies guys. :)

NonStock2001, so you’re using 2” cylinder with 5” MSEG and you don’t have any problems whatsoever?

No. Like I said, there is an inward flare at the base to provide a better seal. I never measured, but I would guess it is 5.5” circumference upon entering.

Something I like to do is while I’m sitting, I put a tube sock between my legs so each one of my ass cheeks are resting on each end of the sock. I make a loop and put my balls in that. This keep the scrotal skin from being pulled into the tube. I use caution to make sure the sock isn’t too tight.

I wish I was able to pump more, but I’m so damn busy with other things. This tube was a great deal, I think it was like 20 bucks. It’s a 2”x9” Jim Diamond. It has the fittings for the quick release too.

Go for the 2” tube, but beware that it’s going to make your unit look smaller. I was almost packing the 1.75” and the 2” has all kinds of empty space.

Can you link me to that Jim Diamond cylinder? I’d like to see it, but Google isn’t helping me.

I don’t really care if it’s going to looks small as long as it does the job, I’ll be alone while pumping anyway. :)

Thanks, definitely worth checking out. They’re cheaper than Thickwall on first glance, I just have to figure out how much (if anything) do they charge shipping (because Thickwall has free shipping inside Europe).

Just for comparison, Thickwall 9”x1.75” is £42 and 9”x2” is £44, while Mustang both 9”x1.75” and 9”x2” are £28.

Edit: Now I see that they charge shipping £7.5, but it’s still cheaper than Thickwall. They even sell cylinder + pump kit for £46 (without shipping). Definitely something to consider.

Buying Mustang cylinder + pump kit could save me good $35-55 compared to buying Thickwall cylinder and pump like Mityvac MV8000.

Use the menu to find the tube.

Thanks. Too bad they ship only to US because $18 is a damn good price for a cylinder.

Pumpers paradise do a kit that gives you a 2” cylinder as standard and another cylinder of your choice for free. Cost £52.99 + £ 7.49 postage. Might be a good idea as you can then get the 1.75” as the additional / free option. Problem solved.

That is what I will be doing.

I must’ve missed that, thanks. :) Now I see that’s the first item in their kits section, it comes in a case. £60 for pump with gauge and 2 cylinders is a great deal.
