Question about compatibility of pump parts

Question about compatibility of pump parts

I have a pump from Vacu-Tech and I’ll be ordering a new cylinder, along with a silicone cylinder cushion for it. The problem is that Vacu-Tech doesn’t seem to sell these silicone cushions for their cylinders and pumping isn’t very comfortable without them.

I found the silicone cylinder cushions at LA Pump… will they work with a Vacu-Tech cylinder? And if not, can I order the cylinder from LA Pump instead to work with my Vacu-Tech Pump? That way I can get the cushion from LA Pump as well. Or is everything just incompatible with everything else not from the same manufacturer?

Sorry if this sounds complicated… hoping there’s a simple solution for this.

Thanks

All professional quality pumps like LA Pump, Vacu-Tech, Thickwall, LeLuv cylinders and several others, have common quick disconnect connectors, so interchanging cylinders between manufacturers is no problem. You can easily tell by looking at a picture of a cylinder if it has a quick disconnect connector.

Cheaper pumps, like those that come with rubber squeeze bulb pumps can not be used with quick disconnect connectors.

As far as the silicone cushion goes, LA Pump cylinders come with a flange on the end and that cushion is designed to fit over and on that flange. Some Vacutech cylinders have a flange and some do not, so it depends on what type of cylinder you have.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Many thanks for your informative response, gprent. I’ve ordered the LA Pump cylinder with their silicon cushion. Hope to have some luck with pumping.

Late reply, but the cushion you already have will work. I try to not use one, but sometimes it’s nice to have.

Out of curiosity, any reason you try to stay away from cushions? Thanks for the reply.
