I’m looking for gains in girth more than anything, and length doesn’t seem nearly as hard to come by. If I solely pumped, nothing else, would I get gains in girth? Have others around here? Is it rare?

I can only speak for myself personally, but most of my girth gains came from consistent pumping over many months/years.

Do you have progress pics to prove the stats in your sig? Those are some impressive gains.

Do you do anything else for girth, or do you just pump? Also, have you tried ceasing pumping for a month or two, to see if the gains are permanent?

No, I don’t have progress pics posted here. When I first started PE’ing, I really had no desire to take pics of my smaller dick.

I’ve also jelqued over the years and clamped off and on, but the most consistent thing I’ve done is pumping. My best girth gains have been on the lower half of my dick, and I think it’s because the pumping helped to stretch out and expand the root area of my dick. Also, the girth expansion has occurred in the CS area and is more visible from the side view rather than from a top view.

I’ve stopped pumping for a month or so when on vacation, and I will notice a decrease of 1/8-1/4 inch in size, but it’s easily reclaimable.

I try to pump only for years, but not until I changed my routine to include jelquing and manual stretching after pumping did I start to get permanent gain.

Most of what I’ve read about pumping gains suggests that pumping alone will not be as effective as pumping in conjunction with some type of manual exercise. I’m beginning to subscribe to this as I’ve incorporated J123’s linear routine in with my pumping sets. Feels good so far.

Peforeal- sounds like you should be my girth guru. I have read a lot of yours and avocet8’s posts and I think I am learning a lot more then I thought I would.. I have a question for you-were should I start, trying for length or girth?


Starting length-6.0 starting girth-5.0 mid shaft

Goal-9x6-6.5 mid shaft

7.25” girth, peforeal…that’s big. Care to post a picture to prove the claim? Sorry, that just seems incredibly, especially since you went from under 5” to over 7”. Granted, it’s over the course of YEARS, it’s still damn impressive.

PEFOREAL’S CURRENT ROUTINE (May 2003)

Presently, I try to pump 3 - 4 days/week, sometimes clamping before pumping and dryjelqing randomly during the day when time and privacy permit.

No new picture posting coming up anytime soon. I did post one pic once two years ago in Ike’s thread on the Grip Twist, but I haven’t had any new inclination to post more.

When I started out in 2001, I just jumped in to PE not really concentrating specifically on length or girth. I just wanted to make gains of any sort. I think you should just develop a good routine and see what happens. As much as we would like it to be, PE is just not that exact of a science, in my opinion. Good luck.

I read your routine. How do you fit in a 2” tube?. Have you since moved up?

Also, do you find that you girth is now pretty consistent all the way up the shaft (after the base).

Well, I use lots of lube on my dick before entering my 2” tube. I’m smaller in the glans area and bigger on the lower half of my dick, so it’s not that difficult to suck my lubed dick into the cylinder under vacuum pressure. When I enter, I pack the tube immediately on the lower half of my dick, and it takes me about 20-30 minutes to pack the smaller upper part of my shaft.

I usually start in the 2” tube first and then move into a 2.25” for another 30 minutes or so, taking breaks every 10 minutes or so. I also occasionally use a 2.5” tube. I originally started in a 1.75” cylinder years ago.

As far as consistency goes, I have a definite girth demarcation on my dick. From midshaft to base, I range dramatically from 6 - 7.25”, and from midshaft to right below the glans, I range from 6 - 5.25” or so. I have what I refer to as a tree-trunk or elephant trunk shaped dick.

My current girth goals are to equal out the girth of my dick from base to below the glans. I can achieve this result after pumping, but I’m working on this more symmetric look even when flaccid or unpumped.

Is it possible to even it out? I’d be afraid of getting a tree trunk type dick. That’s not my thing.
