Pumping Question

Good day, everyone

I am unable to post to the proper forum, maybe a mod could assist in moving this.

I had a question about something that is happening as a result of my pumping, I don’t believe this to be an injury, but just a small side-effect. Anyway, I’ve been pumping for the better part of a year now, I use the incremental pumping method with 1 day on and 1 day off and have seen some gains. My routine is not ideal with regards to privacy and time, but I am doing the best that I can at this point in time with what I have. I manual stretches to warm up and then go in the tube completely erect, I do 5 minutes at 3”hg, then 5 minutes at 4”hg, then 10 minutes at 5”hg, and the last 10 minutes at 6”hg, then 10-15 minutes or longer of massage and edging, I have built up to this conditioning and I don’t see a need to increase the pressure from this point. There is no pain or discomfort whatsoever, except for where the tube digs into my groin. When I come out of the tube I notice the urinary meatus has a slightly puckered look to it, no pain at all. Then about a half hour after my session, it will have a slightly swollen bit at the tip of the meatus, about the size of a dime. Within an hour, all is back to normal, I have had this “side-effect” for roughly the last 5 months. It doesn’t interfere with my EQ and there is no discomfort. Anyway, I just thought I would post this out here and get the benefit of the group’s experience. Sorry this was such a long post.

Yes - normal.

My personal rule is if this swelling of the meatus (tip of the penis) does not reduce to normal within a few hours then I have done too much time or vacuum or both. You might find sitting down to urinate during the swelling period will reduce the mess of an unpredictable urine stream (spray).

It is good to hear that your progressive step routine (3”, 4”, 5”, 6”) is working for you. During each step are you continuing to pump in order to hold vacuum? In other words, are you pumping up to 3” Hg then, as the vacuum falls within the 5 minutes, pumping a bit more to return to 3” Hg? The alternative is to pump up only once (for example 3” Hg) then wait the 5 minutes before any more pumping. Both approaches were discussed in another thread - can’t find it but it’s here somewhere. I think unwanted edema is much more likely when continuing to pump during the time period in order to maintain vacuum at a particular level.

I do continue to pump to keep it at the target level. The reason I do so is I tend to lose some vacuum at the seal, I am not overly hairy, but also I refuse to be clean-shaven, lol. I get very little edema, but if I go over my time limit or try for a new vacuum level, I get the beginnings of a nice donut and I want none of that. I have learned these lessons through trial & error and right now I seem to be pretty well dialed in.still, any advice would be taken to heart.

Btw, thanks for the urination tip, had to learn that one the messy way, lol.

Thanks for the link, that’s exactly the thread I based my routine on. I’m hoping by moving slow and not rushing past my conditioning, that I can see some good permanent gains.
