Guys, I need some clarification on pumping intensity. The consensus is to pump no more than 3-5hg. When I do this

I feel instinctively that this is to low. For bigger guys, I can’t see how this amount of force could translate

into any gains. I’m about 9x5 and at this level I don’t feel any hard work being done. I mean the object of PE

is to push your penis, to an extent, to a higher level of pull, push, bend whatever to give the body an incentive

to grow. So what I do is, for a brief moment, pump to 15-20hg and hold it for about 15 seconds. For me this level

is not painful, it actually feels good. It’s like a good stretch and then relax and I repeat this a few times.

When I see the slightest indication of lymph build up I stop and terminate the session and end with some jelgs and

manual stretches for about a minute. My pump sessions last only ten minutes. The first five I pump to just 5hg and

progress from there.

As you know 9 x 5 is already HUGE. What were your starting stats, and how did you get to today’s size?

embarrassing. I had a chance to get with a woman I was in love with from grad school and had a threesome. In each case I couldn’t hold my erection and if I did, it didn’t last long. I literally fried my penis from doing to much seven days a week. A serious decon break and pumping helped to correct it. I even have my morning wood back. Acid Jazz,

inch and a half in length and girth over a two year period.

Sounds cool man. I definitely look at EQ and achiness of my unit as my guide for knowing what is too much or not enough.

Any way I could coax you in to posting a pic? We don’t get many 9’s around here!

Think of it as force X time. If you do 3 in hg for 30 minutes, it can really expand the tunica. It sounds like you have great length, but may want to up girth. I think low vacuum pumping for longer time really hits girth more effectively than length, so you may want to give it a try.

I think Gprent recommends 15 minutes X 2 sets (minimum) for the conditioned pumper, at 3 in hg. Try that daily with weekends off or every other day and give it a month or two for a fair try.

So what clarification are you looking for, Bowflex? I don’t see a question there.


For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

Good comments Bowflex I feel the same way. I am going more for length than girth, I pack the tube but feel that I don’t get much length extension in the tube below 5g. Anyone report good length gains from low hg?

I have to pump to at least 5in/hg for it to be effective for me. Even as high as 10 sometimes. I don’t do that often though because it creates fluid buildup.

Are you guys dry pumping or water pumping?

Pumping at high Hg can also cause the unexpected blister and or blotchy patches of discoloration.
I pump with luke warm water for the first set as a warm up. I find that if I use cooler water for the last set, I finish with a nice pinkish color and no darkening. The pumped effect seems to last longer with the colder water.

I also think that using colder water aids in cementing the gains. My theory is that if I can control the “swelling” with the use of colder water (think of the use of ice for limiting swelling in bruises and injuries), and still pump up a monster, then I can limit any adverse effects and increase the positive effects of pumping. I’ve been doing it this way for about 2 years now and it seems to work for me.

I use a “stayer” at the base sometimes. I notice that this seems to have more of an effect on the length over the girth.
Stayer? I use a piece of theraband held in place with a soft worn piece of velcro.

The downfalls of pumping at high Hg have been well documented. When I’m done pumping I like to have a big fat HARD dick, not a big fat sponge of a dick. I usually pump in the range of 5 - 7 Hg.

definitely heed your advice. RootCap, I dry pump. I’m all to familiar with the adverse effects of extended high pressure pumping. Back in my days of exuberance, I use

to pump like a mad man and I would get that “fat sponge of a dick” as you stated. As been stated many times on this site, what’s the sense of having a big dick if you

can’t use it.

I typically do 5 to 7 for 30 min, when I water pump I do it at 7 to 10 for 30min. I have had no ill effects from it, no gains either.

It may well be that the mechanism of pumping gains isn’t frank stretching. If it was, all the guys with high vacuum force would be reporting gains, and they rarely do. It may be some type of cellular stimulation, or maybe the tunica responds best to lower forces for longer times and does stretch, but the longer times are more effective.

Who knows, but I have almost never seen guys with higher forces report gains.

For a while I was thinking that maybe it stimulated smooth muscle growth, and then the smooth muscle expansion would expand the tunica…that actually makes more sense for a mechanism considering what seems to work. But really, we are all just guessing when it comes to the actual mechanism. What isn’t a guess is the results.

I suggest for guys that feel like its not enough to gain, is to jelque or stretch first, then pump. Kinda like stretching out one of those skinny party balloons that they make poodles out of. Its almost impossible to blow them up unless you first stretch then out, then its easier.

Stretch, then pump at a lower recommend vacuum level. Pump and stretch or jelque. I think that is the way to get length or results instead of the higher vacuum level, anyway many have done well with that combination.
