I think this is important to clear up on a single thread for newbie pumpers:

I’m due to start pumping soon but what HG levels are:

1) Very Low HG
2) Low HG
3) Normal HG
4) High HG
5) Extremely high HG

I have a rough idea about each, but I know dam well that I’m not shore about it.

If not, then whats all this talk about 10 HG, 25 HG or 50 HG?

Yes, I’m a newbie [soon to be] pumper and I agree that levels like 25 or 50 come across as stupid - but I’m a newbie! I guess I’m a little gullible right now - ONLY when it comes to pumping… I feel pretty confident on Jelqing and stretching….

But what about 10 HG? This don’t sound too bad…. does it?

When I first started pumping years ago, and before I knew about Thunders, I always pumped up fast and hard. I routinely used 10 or even 12hg and have been as high as 15hg. Doing this, I could balloon up to impressive 7 inch plus girths and I thought this is great, this is easy. The problem was, it never lead to permanent results and it did cause discoloration, water blisters and blood blisters. But I was drinking pretty heavy in those days and as Thunder suggests, was also pretty stupid.

There is a secret to pumping and I think it applies to all PE as well and that secret is, don’t cross the trauma line. If you do you will not get permanent results and your penis function will suffer.

So, what is the trauma line? For me, it is right at 6”hg. If I pump at 6, my after pump lasting results suffer.

The primo pump pressure for me is 5”hg. And even when I pump at my 5”hg limit, I always pump up slow, pausing at 2,3 and 4 on the way up. The time I spend at 5”hg is 12 minutes, followed by 3 minutes of massage. That is one set. Today I did 5 sets. A perfect routine for me.

So, if you want to spend your time actually making lasting gains, stay away from high pressure. All it does is give you a false sense of success that doesn’t last.

10 hg is too much for a beginner.

Start out at about 3 HG

And it determines on how you pump how high you should go.

If you are releasing the vacuum every 20 - 20 seconds then you should build up to about 7 hg but if you are going to leave the vacuum pressure on 3 or more minutes or so you should stay at about 3 hg


Started 6.5 got up to 8 by pumping alone.

I’m a relative newbie (pumping for about five months) and have to agree with the general wisdom. It’s very tempting to go to 10 (or higher), esp. if it doesn’t hurt, but it’s counter-productive. Once you get over the initial excitement of PE—and especially the thrill of seeing your dick expand before your eyes in the tube—you’ll realize that you have to settle into this for the long haul. I’m now convinced that low pressure, long duration is where it’s at. I believe this applies to other ‘extreme’ techniques, such as clamping, too. E.g., I’ve abandoned 10-min. hard (cable) clamps in favour of long (up to an hour) cockrings. The only hanging I do is with PEWeights (or alternatively, wrist/ankle weights).

Impatiently pumping away without reading any explanatory material can produce too much suction (anything over anything 10 mm Hg) and cause permanent injury.

I pump at 4hg and anymore starts feeling very discomforting. I dunno ho someone can go to 10 or even 12h. In the past when I was all exited and stupid, I went up to 7 or 8. It hurt like hell and just gave me some dicoloration. I know better now and leave it at a low hg for 10 min.

Everybody talks pressure as HG in USA. I am living in istanbul so most common pressure unit is bar here.
I see everybody is talking negative pressures around 2-30HG.

I just want to really sure this is mm HG or in HG?

If we convert 30mm HG to bar its equals to 40mBar.

Its max pressure limit is 400mBar. When I double check mmHG and in HG I think some posts there is writing mistake who are righting as mmHG instead of inHG.
Is anybody using this kind of devices? Is this enough of 400mBAr will not enough after 6 months training.?
