Are these permanent gains or temporary?

According to avocet8, gains can be maintained with pumping 3-4/month.

Read posts by “peforeal”. He says they┬┤re permanent.

You are not going to retain the maximum dimensions you can pump up to, but something in between. Like any PE process, it takes time and dedication for permanent growth and change to take hold.

Does any one know if clamping gives the same results as pumping? Or does it vary?

I have clamped, but have not (yet) pumped. However, I am now perusing pumping information and am interested in pumping.

From what I gather, pumping a.) takes longer than clamping b.) requires more patience c.) doesn’t have nearly as much potential to create discoloration d.) is safer (so long as you follow the advice of the seasoned pumpers) e.) and is, in my opinion the way to go if you want to grow in a slow and steady and SAFE manner.

The only injury I ever received was from clamping.

It seems to me that pumping (with patience and the exercise of intelligence) will do exactly what clamping will do, but in a much safer manner.

Now if you’ve got one of those uber-dicks that can take the high intensity shit, then good for you, but I want to see my dick gain size…HEALTHY size~!!! Clamping, in all but it’s lowest of intensity forms, is OUT of my workout. Pumping is on the way IN.

I can recommend pumping when it’s done in a safe and moderate manner, and consistent with monitoring of your PIs.

However, I’m at a loss to explain discoloration and what causes it. I don’t know that there’s a PE exercise that hasn’t been associated with discoloration for someone. I know that I pump very moderately (in addition to other PE methods), and I still have developed some discoloration. For me, the benefits have FAR outweighed that particular cost, but the potential is there.

Make sure to check out Gprent’s thread Selecting Your Cylinder Size before ordering your cylinder. The recommendations there are much better than the ones from the cylinder sellers.
