I’m planing to warm up and stretch before I pump, 10 min JAI-stretch.

Between the pumping sets(2-3min) I do some light jelq/massage, and enter the tube with full erection again.

I’m no expert, but I think most people here pump only one time a day, dividing it in to sets of 10-20 min. I know there are a few that pumps more often, and I can’t see anything wrong with this as long as it leaves you a fat flaccid throughout the day. What I think is important is the total time under tension(time x Hg) divided by rest time. When you find the optimal relation the gains start to come. It seems that most people here on thunder are struggling to find this sweet zone, and it seems to vary a lot from person to person. That’s why I see no problems with pumping more often, but you have to pay very close attention to the PI’s, so you don’t leave the sweet zone. That’s where the “plumbing” restorations happens also I believe.

The one thing in common both camps have is POSITIVE PIS!!! Different guys can tolerate different amounts of stress, but rarely have I ever heard of a guy with a dick that is beat to shit make gains.

Always you hear, “I do this or that…and my erections are rock hard and I hang heavy flaccid all day!” Rarely do you hear, “I have a hard time getting erect, and its not very hard…but I’m growing like crazy!” I’ve NEVER heard that…have YOU?

So, the bottom line is you must find what works FOR YOU!!! A big tool in achieving a “big tool” is to watch your PIs and make sure you never drift very far ( a day or two of rest at most) from excellent EQ (erectile quality) and you greatly increase your chances of success.

Some others pump 5 on 2 off.

I have the time to pump 7 days a week but is that a bad idea?

I pump about 3 times a week regularly. I go at least one hour and sometimes more keeping the pressure below in the 3-5” hg range. If I pump substantially more often than that, I think my dick gets less responsive to the effectiveness of the pumping. From experience, I think that pumping 7 days a week is overkill and won’t help significantly in making more gains.

Do you mix your rest days or are you on a regular schedule like; Monday, Thursday, Sunday , or every other day with the weekend off?

Yes I always warm up before pumping.
I have a heat-pad but really don’t like it. It just does not warm up my cylinder, maybe because it is a thickwall.

So I rest the cylinder on a radiator and it takes a good 20 minutes to get mildly warm.
During this time I heat a rice sock and wrap it around my penis while looking at some porn.
Then re heat the rice sock, warm penis, get cylinder off the radiator and start pumping with the rice sock over the cylinder.

After each set I put the cylinder back on the radiator for about 4 minutes, re heat the rice sock and pump again.

I was going to try putting my cylinder in the oven today like gprent but it has a white plastic connector on the top and it might melt. Does yours have this gprent?

I do not stretch or jelq.

I noticed my erection was greatly improved from taking a day off. Before I was struggling to get hard.
3 on 1 off is going to be the maximum I try. I think a 2 on 1 off or 1 on 1 off would be preferable so will adjust according to my PI’s.

Even pumping for 4 x 10 minutes at 4hg I had some hard lymph vessels at the end, one ran from base to head and took some massaging and getting hard, soft and hard a gain a few times before it cleared.

Of course I have the connector. Does your oven have a temperature control? That’s why I told you the temperature I set the oven at.

Bluenun thank you for your recent threads I have found them to be very relevant and thanks to everyone’s contribution I think we have learnt a lot from these. I adopted gprent’s advice to a fellow pumper and adjusted it to Avocet 8’s introductory principles. At present,I am on my last week of 2x15min set per day @ 5hg and the frequency varies on my timetable.However, I try decipher my unit’s status,sometimes I get on a roll and will do 2 or 3 days back to back but not more than that. I rest for about a day or two. My schedule appeals to a 2 days on 1 day schedule and at times 3 days on 2 days off schedule. Rest days are important folks. I only restarted two weeks ago and thanks to the post work combination of a leather cockring and theraP wrap things are getting better, I know its going to take a while but I am getting better erection and longer sustained erections. Progress is a process.

We are using different types of cylinders, I was asking to see if you have the same type of connector and if you remove the connector before putting in the oven but from your answer I can tell you do not.

I was a little grouchy this morning as my dog woke me up early. :)

I put my cylinder and connector in the oven fully assembled. Those temperatures are way below the boiling point of water so none of you equipment will be damaged. The cylinder comes out of the oven nice and warm, not even hot. To be extra safe, you can place the cylinder in a flat pan so when the oven heating element is on, the cylinder won’t be exposed to the direct heat from the heating element.

Thanks for that information gprent, I will try that method out next session.

Presently I am doing 5 minute warmup (microwavable heat pad-basically a big rice sock)
10 minutes stretching from different angles.
10 minutes pump at 4-5
10 minutes jelquing
10 minutes pumpiing
10 minutes jelquing
10 minutes kegels.

I do this 4 times per week: T, Th, Sat, Sun.

I am going to add the electric heat pad during pumping. Sounds delicious!
