Have any of you seasoned pumpers noticed this: I’m about a month into my MWF pumping routine. When I first started, I would stay noticeably larger between pumping sessions, using the same toilet paper roll as a frame of reference (I’ve discovered that they come in slightly different sizes). That is, my normal girth can be forced into the roll, but it’s tight. For the first few weeks of my routine, I couldn’t even get the head into the roll, even after a weekend of not PEing for two days straight.

But this week (week 4 of my routine), I’ve noticed that by the day after my pump routine that I’m not maintaining as much of the pump as I did in the early weeks.

Is this just because my dick has adjusted to the pumping routine and the swelling isn’t as significant as it first was? Or is this a good sign, that my immediate results now are less the product of lymph fluid and due more to the stretching of cavernous tissue by blood flow (I’ve been staying pretty hard in the tube)? Or does this just mean that I’ve reached a point where I either have to up the pressure (using 2.5 hg now) or intensity (increase from 30 minutes, MWF)? So far I’ve experienced zero problems with erection rigidity. When I pumped at higher pressures years ago, this caused problems for me that led me to abandon pumping altogether. I don’t want to go back there and mess up what so far has been a manageable (and enjoyable, lol) routine! Any thoughts?

I don’t have a answer for you but i have a quick question why do you only pump at 2.5 hg instead of the normal 5 hg? 5hg is still considered low, safe and manageable I thought.

This has happened to me on and off for the past 4 years of pumping. All I do is take a week off from pumping to let my tissues rest, and then I restart with good results. I do think that with pumping and to make continuing gains, you have to make some gradual increases in time in the tube and/or days per week frequency. You could afford to up your pressure gradually to 5.0”hg over the weeks and see how your dick responds. As you know, always pay attention that you’re getting positive PI’s (physical indicators). I saw your recent post pump pic in your other thread. Congratulations on having a truly exceptional dick in length and now girth. Now, if I could be as disciplined as you are in the gym, I’d be a happy man.

Thanks PE, I think I may add an additional day at the same time and pressure for starters, to see how it goes. I don’t want to go backwards.

I’m sure it’s safe in the long term at 5 hg, but I didn’t like how it affected the unit in the short term last time. So I’m sticking with 2.5 for the time being since I’ve had no ill affects.

You’ve had no ill EFFECTS. If you affect something (verb), it means you influence it. If you effect something (verb), it means you bring it into being. An effect (noun) is a result. An affect (noun) is an emotion projected outward by a physical expression. The first three are all pronounced the same, the fourth has the first syllable stressed, and it’s a short “a.”

You got a good routine, but rest is needed now and then. But you can get the opposite too. The tally gets used to the routine has adjusted and is not responding as much. In that case, you should alter the routine — maybe longer sessions, more sets, higher pressure, or a combination thereof. Pumping is very tricky to get right and requires a constant willingness to adjust. You can have some great sessions, think you got it down and you are the Pumping Man. Then the very next workout using the very same routine, the response isn’t anywhere near as good and you’re back to tinkering again.

Yes, Tallythwacker, I think you’re right on that score. Variety is key, but it’s tricky. True in bodybilding as well.

Your a married man like myself, I was wondering how you ever have issue getting your session in (wife come home earlier etc). Plus I have 3 kids.
Its alot harder then saying ,Im going to the gym.

It’s not easy, GP. I have kids as well, which means that I only pump when I’m alone. It’s hard enough trying to convince the wife that this “PE thing” is not crazy. I certainly don’t want to have to explain anything to the kids. So all of my PE equipment is under lock and key in a secure location and I have been able to carve out about 40 minutes, 4 times/week when I’m alone for the main pumping/clamping routine. I do 5 min of jelq and 100 erect dick raises every morning when I rise — usually immediately after the wife gets up to put on the coffee and I stay behind to “take a piss and wash my face,” lol. It’s been an interesting juggling act, but I’ve managed so far.

I bet she does think your crazy. Most us would be happy where your at now. My wife think Im fine at 7 1/8 x 5 1/8 but just like the rest of me I’m always looking at the next goal.

Another question. Im a competitive BB myself at the state level and I was wondering do you always stay that lean? You look in the 5-6 range to me. I thought I read you train 4 days a week, same here. What about cardio, and diet? I can’t say Im natural anymore, but I’d say that you could easily compete in a tested or non test show and do really well. I haven’t total nail my conditioning yet, next show is 12 weeks from this past Sat, Im at 206 and 9% and 5’6 right now.

I haven’t had my fat tested in years. But I’ve gotten readings as low as 3-4 percent when I was competitive.
Right now I’m sure it’s pretty much the highest it’s been since I started seriously working out (I’m naturally very lean). My guess is that it’s currently around 10 percent or so.

You’re right re: the wife — she can’t understand why I’m bent on making my dick bigger, although I KNOW she wouldn’t kick me out of bed if I gained a little extra thickness (hence my goal of gaining 1/2” of girth), lol. I’m also competitive as hell, and from this POV, my physique just seems to overwhelm my dick size at times. Perhaps if I had never gained that 50+ pounds from bodybuilding (I’m 6-3, about 230-235, up from a lanky 185 in my teens), I wouldn’t be so consumed with PE. In fact, I never really gave my dick size regular thought prior to getting seriously into the weights.
