Pumping at low pressure question

Packing the tube and reaching 8 inches from 6.25NBP in 2 MINUTES!?! What pressure are you using? Correct me if I’m wrong, but I suppose this is because your girth when pumped is relatively the same size of the cylinder, so once packed the vacuum force pulls the penis up? I am 5.125 ” girth using a 1.75 tube and looking for the exact process to happen, ie. length expansion and stretch beyond typical max of 7.125 BPEL. However it takes me at least 45 mins to an hour to begin to pack the tube so little if any length expansion occurs during my workouts. Patience and consistent workouts over time is probably my best approach.

I don’t reach 8 in in 2 minutes. I pack quickly, but the length takes more time.
It depends on what condition I start . Sometimes I don’t do any pre-workout like fluffing it, so it takes a while to inflate.
Getting to 8” takes higher vacuum but I only push it for a few seconds just to force it to stretch. Then I back off and repeat. The max pressure is around 15 hg or so. Not sure since my gauge is wacked.
It takes me around a half hour to comfortably reach 8”, and I can’t keep it there indefinitely. I use that as a length goal to insure that I am getting a good stretch.
Eventually I’d like to get past the 8” mark so that I can start resting it there. Then I would know I’ve made some length gains.

Yeah, I started on a 1.75 cylinder this past Monday and I still only reach 5.875 for the first 5 minute set and a hair under 6 in the second 5 minute set (this is all at 6hg MAX for pressure since I’m staying safe). I hope my length grows as I keep doing this. I do like the increased girth I’m getting, but length is my priority right now.

I have a memory of many years back when I considered it a milestone when I reached 7” in the tube.

So length gains do happen in time.

Hang in the tube for 20 or 30 minutes, it will continue to expand. Also try wrapping the tube in a heating pad on a low setting.

Alright, I’ll get to that amount of time eventually. i’m taking it slow right now by only adding 1 minute to my routine each week. :)

After an initial period of figuring out how my unit responded to pumping, I stopped confining myself to low pressure pumping, so my experience might be different. However, Howardson’s observation seems right to me. I frequently go in the tube well below 100% erect, and can see immediate visible stretching/length expansion as the vacuum pressure is applied. On a good day, when pre-PE would be around 8.25 -8.5 BPEL @ 100%, I fairly quickly stretch from a smaller semi state to probably 8.75”, and then more gradually stretch to about 9” over the session. I suspect immediate girth response also occurs, but it’s just harder to gauge visually. Then, gradually the tube packs, but mostly from temporary fluid buildup.

The thing is pumping mainly benefits girth. Vacuum acts over surface area and there is way more surface area in the girth direction then in the length direction. That is not to say you length will not improve, it just takes time so be patient.

Also time in the tube is important, so spend at least 30 minutes pumping to start seeing your best girth and length expansion.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

I’m also slightly shorter in the tube, about 0.25” shorter. But so far I have only pumped at low pressure (1-2 in hg) for short times. When I come out of the tube, if I do a BPFSL measurement, it is longer than I can ever get by manual stretching only, so I am getting some length effect. It’s strange.

Maybe gravity plays a role. It’s a bit of a stretch, but since pumping is unique in that there’s an external force pulling blood into the penis, perhaps the external force of gravity plays more of a role as well. I.e. pumping with the tube at an upward angle, the blood is climbing a hill to go in the length direction. Pumping flat or downward, the vacuum is gravity neutral or better. So far I’ve had the tube at an upward 45 degree angle or so.

I’m gonna try it out next time. I’ve got two padded chairs, I’ll space them out, and lie face down with my legs elevated, and cock hanging down between them with pump on. If it doesn’t add any length in the tube, at least it’ll be worth a laugh.

This does work to some extent, just keep an eye on things. I found I got a lot more red spots and edema from lower angles.

You might want to reduce the pressure even further to start with, assuming the tube will stay on.

So I’m getting quite annoyed with pumping. I’m guessing my issue has to do with the fact that I only do sets of 5 minutes in the pump and that I have pretty excessive turkey neck, but my unit doesn’t look larger than my normal erect size AND going to 6hg gives me the dreaded donut effect underneath the head.

How can I expect to make ANY gains if a) I don’t surpass my erect size in the pump and b) can only do 3-5hg for pressure before my penis goes to shit?

Take it slow.. real slow! Try gprents advices and routines.. you can’tfail if you do it right.

Permanent gains comes from low pressure pumping 3-4 hg

Take it slow and start at 10 min low pressure and work your way up to 30-45 min… with an good warmup before entering the pump.. massage after and do some firegoats rolls and maintain an erection, 5 min to control your EQ and get a healthy look..

That’s what I’m saying, though. How can I gain, even if it’s slow and gradual gains, if the pressure you’re advising (3-4) causes my penis to be SMALLER than my natural erect size? The only time my penis seems to expand beyond my normal erect size is if I hit 6 or 7 for pressure.

You need at least 30 mins in the tube to see significant expansion under 5 Hg.
