I would like to start working in a light pumping routine into my newbie jelqing routine. Obviously I don’t want to overdo things, so could I get some recommendations for how much pumping I should do and when? I currently do the newbie routine 2 days on, 1 day off.

I added pumping in after about 4 months. Here is what I learned. Of course we are all a little different.

Follow the guidelines here for ramping up your time in the cylinder:

I actually took those and divided the recommended times in half, so I took twice as long to build up my time.

Personally I do pumping and jelqing on SEPARATE days.

I tried doing both in the same workout, but I got better results (expansion, better EQ) when I separated them

Also personally two 15 minute sessions in the cylinder works best for me. For a total time of 30 minutes.

I have gone for 45 minutes and also an hour once or twice. But thirty minutes is better for me again in terms of EQ, expansion, recovery.

Also personally I have found 3HG to 4HG to be the sweet spot for pressure. When I did avocet8’s build up routine I stuck to 2 to 3HG.

Where can we find advocet8s routine sta-kool?.

I’m doing 1 10 min pump session to start with jelq stretch and then ads.

What has worked best for me is to jelq about an hour before I get in the pump. I seem to get less buildup than if I do them together.

What does your routine look like?

I`m currently doing 5 days on/2 off with 15-20 minutes jelqing and 20 minutes of stretching.

I don`t want to go back to full-time pumping as I believe manual work like jelqing/stretching is the meat of every good routine.

I have however considered adding a few sets with pumping at low pressures on my current 2 days off in order to keep my unit stretched and engorged, but not anything heavy.
