Pump technical question

Pump technical question

Hi,

I bought a good pump ($110) but the pump gun does not seem to be working
I pump the trigger and nothing

Is there anything I’m missing?

Have you made sure that the release valve isn’t stuck or anything? Assuming you’ve properly connected the hose, it could just be a faulty pump. My cylinder has a quick release valve between the cylinder and the hose, and if it’s not seated good, it won’t work properly. If you remove the hose from the pump and put your fingertip on the nozzle, can you tell if it’s grabbing onto your finger?

If it’s just the gun, you should be able to replace it quite easily at an auto parts store.

Ok now it seems to be pumping, and if I put my finger at the end of the connecting hose, it builds vacuum
The only problem is now it does not stay in the pump

The hose is not staying connected? If you pulled it off, it may have stretched or damaged the end of the hose. You can cut an inch or two from the hose and reapply it, other than that, you’ll have to be more specific.

Okay I figured out the problem

However air escapes unless I put the sleeve

Am I putting it correctly? It’s really small where the penis is supposed to go, am I putting it the wrong way

If air is escaping around the base of your penis, you will more than likely need to add some lube around the area of skin where the sleeve or cylinder is making contact. You may also need to shave some of the hair around that area. Make sure you’re following the directions properly and be careful with the pressure.

If you haven’t already, read through this link, and do a search within the forum for any specific questions you have.

Vacuum Pumping 101

I’d like to add, since I’ve been giving the advice so far, that I hope you have read the START HERE ——-> NEWBIE ROUTINE <——- Important Newbie Threads/Info and at least have the minimum experience you’ll need for stepping up to the pump; especially if you don’t have one equipped with a gauge.

Be safe!!

BigDanny, thank you so much for your help.
I have done the newbie routine already and I am familiar with the website.
The sleeve was tricky to put on without it hurting but I figured it out

Cheers
