Pump styles and vacuum power

Pump styles and vacuum power

Hi all, I’ve been pumping for pleasure off and on for 6 months or so with a basic bulb pump, and I’m at a point where I quickly reach the limit of bulb’s vacuum power. I squeeze it and it just stays compressed.

I’m not aiming for permanent gains or anything so I can’t really justify the cost of a bathmate or another top of the line pump. So what I’m wondering is if the finger grip style or the trigger style (like a squirt bottle, sorry if my terminology is off) models at the lower end of the price spectrum offer more vacuum power than the bulb, or do I really need to pay for a premium model to get more suction?

Also, if it’s worth trying another style, do they make a universal replacement pump (I’m guessing they don’t)? My cylinder is a good size for me and there’s no need to replace it if I don’t have to.

Thanks for any advice you can give, this is a great forum and I’ve learned a lot from you all already!
