Pump cylinder's base is uncomfortable.

Pump cylinder's base is uncomfortable.

Hey guys,

I’m wondering if any of you know how to make the pump cylinder more comfortable. My cylinder base is just like the letter “j” but imagine a backwards j right after the forward j. So you can see that the backwards j, which is inside the cylinder can cut into my shaft causing a bit a pain after a session. Anyone know what I could do for this? If my explaination isn’t clear enough, I can draw something up to post here.

If I understand your post correctly you have a “flared” cylinder. Depending on what kind of cylinder and how much flare there is. One of your options is one of those silicone cushions you can buy. Most of these universal pump donuts can be bought for $20 or so at any sex shop. If however, the base flares out at a 90 degree “L” the way mine does then you may want to look into ordering the company’s reccomended cushioning off their site.

Yeah, like the base has a J shape, but on the upper part of the curve of the J is a straight 90 degree angle which is like an L. I’ll check it out and see if I can find something. thanks.

Just checked out the seller I bought from and they don’t have anything like silicone cushions for cylinders. Anyway I could make one?

An effective and simple fix is to buy a motorcycle innertube. Choose one that has no ribs or they will create a vacuum loss. You’ll only need a 2.5” X 20” tube. Cut off a 3-4” section and place 1/2 it over the flange onto the main part of the tube. Push the remaining 2” or so back into the tube. This should cushion the flare. You could be using too much vacuum also. Make sure that you stay around 5”Hg until you are conditioned if not already.

Since I just started recently, I have never gone past 3 Hg and usually limit the session 5-8 minutes in length. I am thinking it might be because of the cylinder. I picked one size up according to the cylinder guide here because I’m using pumping to target girth. Thanks for the suggestion!

You can still target girth with a cylinder that is your size. The main thing main thing to worry about is keeping your pump sessions short so you don’t get a lymph build up around the base. That will only create a baseballnbat effects over time which is a pain to correct over time. I suggest you do no more than yen minutes of pumping at a time followed by jelqing and light cockring or clamp to hold back that fluid.

You might want to try a foam sleeve or foam washer from USA Medequip. If you order the washer, make sure you get the size 3. I ordered the size 2 and found it was too tight, otherwise it was quite comfortable.

It might just be a question of using lube. Are you using any?

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Yes, I did do it another time after that time, and decided that I should try using more lube. It seems to have helped out a quite a bit, but I didn’t wanna risk anything so right after the session I gave that area a very thorough massage. It could have been the lube or a combination of both.

Thanks for all the help guys. I’ll try it a few more times with the same amount of lube I used last time, and if it doesnt work out I might consider that foam sleeve.

Lots of seller on ebay of those cushions.

Here’s a current listing:

Or you could just order from a pumping vendor:
