How would I get excess oil out? Just turn it upside down after taking off the fill cap and hope I get it right?

I would say between 3 and 4 seconds to 28Hg for me. I think the difference in tube volume and penis side will affect speed of evacuation as well as CFM rating on the different pump setups. I will have to actually hard time it to get a more exact number for notation purposes.

Open the drain valve (down below on the same side as the sight glass) as if you were changing the oil. Drain some off into a plastic bottle that you can later recycle at most automotive supply stores.

Since I’ve run the machine so little thus far, can I keep the excess oil in this case? Doesn’t look discolored, worn or have any debris. I drained 2oz and put it back into the starter bottle it came with.

Yeah you can reuse the clean oil.

These machines are designed to drain various automotive or HVAC systems directly into the oil reservoir. Our use is very clean by comparison so you don’t have to change the oil nearly as often as recommended.

This is pretty basic but, this is a friction motor that uses oil to stay lubricated and function properly.

To continue in this, the oil must remain at the proper level, not over or underfilled, and not dark or broken down from excessive use. Oil that is much darker or has debris floating in it from use than when it started should be changed. If you fill it past the “Oil Level” line, it needs to be drained down to the proper point. I will cover that here, since I overfilled mine on the first run.

Tools needed
8” Adjustable wrench.

Steps to take to drain/change oil

1. Locate the window similar to the one in Figure 1a or Figure 1b. Figure 1a is my pump overfilled. Figure 1b is the pump at the proper oil level.
Note: Your oil may be at the proper level or close to it but dark, discolored or otherwise worn out. This is the reason to change the oil, if it is significantly darker than it started or has debris floating in it.

2. Locate the drain plug underneath the window on the bottom of the pump. It is a small hexagonal nut that acts as a drain plug. Shown in Figure 2.

3. Loosen the drain plug with the wrench a good ways, to a similar point shown in Figure 3. Make sure you have a cup handy and take the plug all the way out to drain the oil.

4. Place the plug back in by hand to stop the flow of oil if you are removing excess oil
OR
Place the plug back in after all oil has drained out, if changing it.

Note that you will get oil on your fingers, guaranteed and that a tea cup is adequate non porous material to keep it in. Shown in Figure 4.

After you fill the cup or bowl with your drained oil you can put it in a bottle for future use (if it is clean and you overfilled the pump)
OR
put it in a bottle for disposal (if the oil is at the end of its usable life, which you can dispose of at a hardware store that recycles oil).

5. Refill to proper level, As shown in Figure 1b. Open the fill cap at the top of the pump above the window, pour in your new oil to the proper level.

I was going to showcase an oil change when the time came for that, but overfilling it is as good a time as any to showcase it. Part of why I do these informational posts is not only because there are people with zero mechanical aptitude who want to do this kind of PE but that on the foreign boards, they may be reading this for tips and need the pictures to guide them. Too much information is far better than too little.

Thanks to Bearded Dragon for his guidance, in the prior post and before I began the PE4F Pumping endeavor to get me to where I can start it safely and continue this log.

Maiden Voyage with the system. First things first, it functioned flawlessly, using the gauge I picked pressures and was able to hold them with some minor movements of my finger.

I warmed up with a 2” tube (that really doesn’t fit) a heating pad and my hand pump. That’s the first two pictures.

I would cycle as high as 25HG, but mostly 20HG. Playing with the industrial pump for 10 minutes it didn’t feel as high pressure as 4.5HG, when I have the safety hole uncovered. So I would say it’s light pressure, enough to keep the cylinder on your body but nothing notable or unsafe. It also means the gauge likely can’t read it properly, much like RomeoPlus suggested in a prior thread. I don’t know if that will be enough to drill the cylinder and hard install a gauge but it’s now slightly more attractive.

Routine: 1st go round

1. Lube up, use 2” tube with hand pump and heating pad for 3 minutes. Pressure ranging from 3HG to 8HG. I would let the pump naturally lose pressure and pump it back up.
2. Into the 2.25” lubed with Vaseline and cycle 3-5 times for 1 second each then rest for 20 seconds. This would get me up to around 20HG before I would release the pressure.
3. After about 5 minutes of sporadic pulsing to get a feel for it, found that I can control higher pressure with partial coverage of the hole. Held 13HG for about 1 minute before going back to pulsing up to 20 for 3-5 seconds at a time.

Session Notes

Not as brutal as originally thought. If I want to hold a pressure higher than 20 for more than an instant I will need a better padding solution than my single Velseal pad. Cylinder bite into the pubic bone is swift. So swift I believe with a 4CFM system a pubic bone bruise would happen if you went straight to full pressure, as the cylinder would slam into your body with speed of the negative pressure. I won’t be able to see if holding 20HG+ will do further inflation of my CC’s or CS if I don’t find a padding solution. That has to happen, soon. But I can ease into use of the system with faster pulsing until then.

Warm, nice hang afterwards. **Really nice feeling, euphoric sort of. Definitely interesting aftereffects.

** I did several measurements and it turns out, right out of the pump I couldn’t get all the way hard and I wasn’t on the base properly The average was 19cm, the high mark was 19.2 low was 18.8cm. My apologies.

Still easily able to get erect. I will contemplate doing a full session Saturday or Sunday with my planned bends using an axe handle as a fulcrum while clamped.

Well done, TG! I hunted around for an electric pump, and all of the ones I found were either (a) very, very noisy, or (b) very, very expensive, or (c) both. If you just want a good electric pump that is affordable, folks might want to consider this.

I spent several months hunting down pumps. Bearded Dragon recommended a 1.5CFM pump, which will remove over 90% of the pumps available so…I only found 2 that were 1.5CFM. Naturally, being the weakest motor on the market, the cost is the lowest. The first one I found was $68.99 and 1.5CFM but the seller suddenly had to refund me, the pump wasn’t available. Then there’s this one I used for around $90 when the market price starts at $120 and goes up to around $260 before getting wild.

Noise was not my concern in the least. However, weakest motor on the market would also account for the least noise. Really, it sounds like a vacuum cleaner. Which….is fitting. Quiet when attached to you and the only really weird noise is if you power it down with the cylinder in the open air. Then, it sounds like a vacuum cleaner cycling down. Overall, very nice unit. Especially for the very light work that I intend for it. My hunch says the market needs more power to seal much larger areas in a reasonable time frame than a penis cylinder, hence the average CFM being more 3-4 instead of 1.5 and that makes this pump worth a significant portion less.

It’s a somewhat affordable experiment, especially if you have many years of PE behind you already.

I personally NEVER experienced endorphins or a “high” after pumping before. Not once. Not ever. I have had nice erections or felt like it was a good session but not “On top of the world” like after that session.
