Packing a cylinder - HOW?

One on my goals this year is to pack my current cylinder. So far I have only packed a couple inches or so, from the base.

What is the secret to this?

I’ve done a search and read a few things, but I am wondering what your current thinking is about this.

Here’s my situation. I am able to pump three times a week. (I jelq on the workout days I can’t pump) Currently I am in the cylinder from 30 to 45 minutes. I wrap the cylinder with a heating pad. I pump at 3 to 3.5HG — higher than that (4 to 5Hg) I get some negative stuff. I cycle down every 5 minutes to 1Hg for 30 seconds. I get good expansion but not a lot of fluid buildup which is good.

I can get the same when pumping.I don’t think it is your actual penis that is expanding just that you are pulling in some of the body fat down there.

I avoid it by pulling the “fat” (for want of a better word) sideways and upwards (depending where it is as I place the tube on my penis and applying vacuum

Try a search for “Assisted Girth Pumping” which I found helped considerably in getting permanent girth

I will review it — believe it or on not, before I saw your post today I did a pumping session and vaguely remembered that thread about halfway into it. So I grabbed a rubber mallet and started tapping!

That must have been about the time you were typing — I just got the message mentally. ;)

I will reread that thread — I may have some questions for you…

Just do what you are doing and try going for 1 hour one day. Packing will include some lymph fluid, but when you start getting that big in one session, it is unavoidable. It is also temporary, but still fun to be so big. Put on a cock ring afterward and enjoy it for a while.

gprent, that sounds easy enough! AND FUN. I am getting a big kick out of my post pump flaccid now, so yeah this will be very good for amusement.

I will work toward an hour and see what happens.

Do you think that packing eventually contributes to girth gains or is it just for fun?

I don’t think there is any magic growth that occurs due to packing. It is mostly an ego boost. I am not really into packing because I used to get head blisters when I did it. Back then I was also using higher pressures, but the memory of those blisters is strong. Now I use a 2.25” cylinder that is large enough so that I can get plenty girthy (6.75”) without packing.

6.75” - yes that is plenty girthy.

Blisters OUCH. Just horrible.

I have a tendency to get these little raised bumps on my glans by the meatus when I pump. First time I got them I thought “oh shit blisters” but they go away in about an hour or two.

Does that mean I might be susceptible to getting blisters if I try this packing thing?

Hopefully not. Blisters for me required 3 things. Packing, high pressure (6-8) and time of say over 15 minutes packed that way. Since you are currently not packing, you don’t have anything to worry about and when you do, just continue to keep the pressure low, like you do, and limit your time packed.

gprent: I wish you would update your stats. Those great gains could really help with future analysis.

Mr. -kool You and I seem to be in agreement on many things. I too am basing my routine around pumping, and by the end of the year want to gain some girth; packing the tube would be nice, but I don’t know if it helps gains.

Perhaps we should appropriate our new Presidents’ motto: “Yes We Can” … achieve significant girth gains this year. Every time Obamaites say, “yes we can,” I will now agree.

Lampwick — my cylinder is a 1.75 Boston Pump standard design with ‘built in cockring’ - so the thick entrance narrows down to less than that. My girth tapers. Base is 5.5” nowadays, so the entrance is getting pretty tight.

For what it is worth, my girth is wider than in side view than top view.

I do touch the bottom side of the cylinder with other parts of my penis beside my base by the time the session is over. I want more overall girth of course, but some more top down width would be real nice. (OK, OK - I am obsessed with getting more top down width :) ). I have gained in both top view and side view.

I also have a 2” Jim Diamond that I use rarely.

gprent — thanks for the info and those guidelines - low pressure, and limited time in the cylinder once packed seems like the way to go.

Now on the other hand — it is funny, I really had it in my head that “Packing = Growth.” That was the main motivation for wanting to do this.

Since girth growth is the real goal, your comment about using the 2.25” cylinder makes me wonder if I should start using my 2.0 cylinder more often. Giving it a few whacks like petitfaun suggests. Does pumping more in the the 2” make sense to you? Lampwick?

Since you are packing at the base, the main advantage for you in pumping in the larger 2.0” cylinder would be to allow greater expansion at the base.

I don’t think you need to pack to grow, else, how to explain the success of those using REALLY large diameter cylinders such as sun tea jars or the LongJohnny?

What you are doing now - packing at the base while NOT packing toward the glans is encouraging (1) length and (2) greater girth progressively down your shaft. So, what you do depends on what outcome you are going for.

You have pretty much nailed my goal. I have indeed gotten greater girth progressively down the shaft so far. The taper is not as sharp as it used to be — still tapered, but more “balanced-looking.”

So I will keep on with the 1.75” and save the 2.0 for the next step in my career.

Try this and if you are close to packing you will pack it tonight!

1. Use whatever technique you like to stay erect, porn or “tapping” either help a lot.
2. You are already using a heating pad so that is good too.
3. Add enough water to your cylinder to immerse your penis 100%. If you are close to packing it will not take much. Fill the tube with warm water without the hose connected. Then place the tube on your penis with the tube pointing up. There should be an air space to allow you to pump without ruining your pump / fill it with water. Put on your heating pad and now pump your usual. I would think 6 to 8hg for 45 minutes to 1 hour will get you 100% packed. Try it tonight and let me know if you do.

As you said, packing does not mater but it is a great gage to see your progress.
