I’ll say it first: don’t do this at home.

Not a long time ago I began pumping; I came from jelqing and ADS, so my penis already was pretty well conditioned.
As recommended here, I began with low pressures, 3-5 Hg/in. Over time I scaled it up, now pumping around 7 Hg.

But, the real thing I scaled up is time. Since I travel a lot for work, I can only pump 2 or 3 days at week, but in those occasion I stay pumped for more than 1 hour, sometimes even 2.
I do it mostly because I notice no side effects; no particular “donut-effect” anymore (I had a hint of that in the beginning), no EQ loss, nothing remarkable I can think of.

Do you think it could be counterproductive?
Do you see any reasons I should prefer multiple shorter sessions?

That’s my curiosity.
Do you think that it is actually possible to achieve more with less?

Perhaps due to my deterministic way of thinking, it’s very hard for me to consider it.

Yes I do. I try to avoid the body building metaphor but in bodybuilding you don’t workout every muscle every day. Nor do you concentrate on a single muscle group for hours on end. Lots of users have found less can be more, including myself. When I cut down on the pressure I was using in pumping, from about 7Hg to 4Hg, I got much better results immediately, which didn’t make sense to me, but there you go. Personally I think there is a limit to the benefit pumping will afford you and if you go over that limit then you’re not getting anything more out of it. On the stickied pumping info thread in this section of the forum, it’s said that once you’ve reached a certain level of pumping, you only need to do it occasionally to maintain the whole benefit.

As far as getting gains from pumping past that point, I believe you probably aren’t going to see much size increase unless you incorporate other techniques like jelqing/clamping into your routine.

A curious thing has been happening when pumping at the lower Hg. (4-5). Length IS NOT the same as when pumping at 6-7Hg. Even though increased the time, length is almost 1/2” shorter. I though I would try back at the 6-7Hg and sure enough length was back. Length for me is after pumping with full hard on. Anyone else seen this? Would be glad to hear. At the lower vacuum, time was 1.5 hours with breaks every 15 minutes. At the higher end just 40 minutes with a break every 20 minutes or so.

If you’re implying that higher pressures result in bigger length, I’d say there’s nothing strange. It’s ‘stretched out more’.

Perhaps what’s strange is the amount of it: 1/2” is quite a lot.

Maybe you’re a grower?
