Hi, I`ve been pumping for about 5 weeks now. Before that I did the Newbie routing for about 6 months and got good gains in length and girth. Well, all that jelqinf and stretching is a little annoying, so I figured Id start pumping. Whats good about pumping, is that its way easier, you can do other things while punping (I’m writing this topic with my pump on), and it improves my wood.

But it seems that I am not keeping the gains I get from pumping. I stopped pumping for a week, and lost all the girth I had gained. I still have the gains from jelqing and stretching though.

What am I doing wrong? Is it too early to see gains from pumping? My pumping routing consists of two 20 minute sets right now.

I’ve noticed that the more “annoying” PE exercises tend to work better.

If pumping is all your going to do, I recommend daily pumping using a lower pressure (never going above 6hg). If you get a donut, blisters or red dots, you’re using too much pressure or your pumping sets are too long. I’ve discovered that four-six 15 minute sets work best for me.

One more caveat… PE is not 100% permanent.

Its foolish to give up a methodology that is working for you. Remember the goal is a big dick not convenience.

That said, if you increase the internal pressure without increasing the vacuum, it can lead to gains. This can be accomplished by jelquing between sets, or wearing a cockring during pumping. I think the cheapest and best one for the job is just a 1/2 slice of bicycle inner tube. You can make about a hundred (guessing) from one inner tube, and you can experiment with using one or several to see what works best.

The other factor is that sometimes even when doing everything right, grows slows or stops. Its a good idea to take a deconditioning break for a while then pick up again at a level less than you quit at.

Question….If I were to pump with a cock ring on should I use one that my balls slip into as well or one that fits my cock only?

I experimented with that for a while. I found that placing it behind my balls increased the intervascular pressure in my blood vessels in my balls as well as the penis. I found it was enlarging the veins in my testicles. I think this could increase the temperature around your testicles and promote infertility…plus large veins in my scrotum is not a good look in my opinion.

You could try it and see, judge for yourself. If you main goal is a bigger dick then either way will be helpful, but overall I think keeping it at the base of your dick is a better choice. If you use the pieces of inner tube, it lays flat and doesn’t interfere with the seal. The guy that came up with the idea (Nelson nelson, now banned) said you can try up to 3 on top of each other to increase the effect.

Regular cock rings can interfer with the seal, plus you want a stretchy one, not a metal one. If you really expand you will be in trouble with a metal one. Try the bicycle tube and see how you like it.

Remember that if you increase the internal pressure in the penis with a constrictor it will increase the net expansive force (vacuum + internal pressure=net expansion force). You might want to start with a lower than normal vacuum until you see the effect is has on your unit…just for safety.

Overall I think it will be helpful with gains…as long as you watch your PIs carefully for overtraining. Oh yeah, it can be good to leave it on for about 20-30 minutes after your pump session is done, as long as your coloration stays normal…as long as tissue oxygenation is good.

I would like to thank you for this thread as well. It’s pretty much common sense stuff, but since I have no common sense to speak of, it’s a goldmine for me. :D What I wouldn’t give for a .25” gain in 2 weeks…

Its kinda funny because you mention night and morning wood and I usually dont get either and havent for a while now. I used to when I was younger (now 26) but not as often but yet Im still seeing gains. I get the occassional tiny red dots on my glans, but nothing major and theyre usually gone in a day or so. My flacid is better, hangs lower and fuller, Im seeing gains so the positive PI’s must be in my favor for now. Only reason I even get tiny red dots on my glans is from pumping. Im still a noob to pumping and at first was trying different pressure levels and doing some experimenting but the last few times Im staying right at 5HG for my entire workout with jelqs in between. So far so good……..Thanks again man for all the great advice!!!

I'm pissed of with my gains and loses. I've been doing this for more than 4 years. I keep measuring wrong and the next time I update my signature you will see impressive results.

Ive tried this the past 2 nights. Seems to give me a better flacid hang afterwards. How long would it be safe to leave the ring on while pumping? Would 2 or 3 sets of 10 minutes be ok and would any longer than 10 minutes straight be bad with or without a ring on?
