No Gains Still And Mega Upset/Annoyed

I got a Bathmate Hydromax with the extra pump attachment. I have been pumping away for over 3 months now with 0 gains in girth or length. I have had no problems with the device itself which is good. The only good news is that I’m able to pump to a ‘higher’ number (about 1 inch) when in the pump but my penis is exactly the same size outside of the pump both in a flaccid and erect state. A few times I had to take a day or two off as my penis felt quite tired but was back to normal the following day. Generally though I’m fine. I massage it/warm up for 2-3 mins, pump for 5 mins, massage/jelq/stretch for 2-3 mins, pump for 5 mins, warm down by massage/jelq/stretch for 2-3 mins and do this daily taking Sunday off.

I still have my hanger and got no gains through that either (went up to 10kg hanging 20 mins a day). I did this prior to the Bathmate for 4 months.

I’m unsure what to try now. Hanging with heat lamp? Buy an air pump? Continue with one of the above? Hand exercises DO NOT work for me at all so please do not recommend this.

Morning wood varies and doesn’t seem to correlate when I do PE/when I don’t do PE. I sleep naked now to let it grow. I put some creme on my penis before I sleep so the skin is soft. The only positive thing is my foreskin seems have stretched a little and now naturally covers about 1/2 my head but this could be either because my penis is smaller (?) or I don’t know.

My libido is generally not that high anymore but EQ is great when it needs to be ;) and sex generally takes longer than before which is not a great thing as I get quite tired after pounding for 45 mins+.

I eat/drink very healthy, gym 4-5x a week, and am not on any medication etc which would cause issues so I don’t understand why I’m not growing even 1 cm.

I would put the bathmate away. It is not a tool for gains but for funny and injury hunting.

Time under tension is the foremost factor for growth. 10 minutes of manual stretch and 20 minutes of slow jelqs is a good starting point, than add time over weeks. If you apply force to your penis for 20 minutes daily, your boy can figure it out ‘This motherfucker is wrestling with me, I’ll become stronger and he can’t win.’. Why bothering to lengthen if the stress is so short living?

Like said above more time and consistency. The its kinda like time under tension principal for making gains at the gym. The longer he is under tension the more the unit will grow. And the happier you will be. My usual pumping session lasts way longer than 45 minutes. There is alot of info. And yes constant heat is a must. Makes it loosen up very well.

I notice you do routine daily and take the sunday off. Rest days are equally as important as training days. The advantage is that you can invest some more time in the training. It’ll still be the same amount of minutes per week.

Why not try a 2/1 schedule? Monday and tuesday training, then wednesday off, thursday and friday training, and then the weekend off.

I noticed something else too: you say: don’t recommend hand exercise, it doesn’t work on me. But at the same time, you jelq daily. Double standards. Jelqing and stretching are the basis on which you build.

To summarize:
I should continue hanging, increasing the weights and time under tension, and add in a heat lamp? Do this 2 days on 1 day off.
And pack away the Bathmate entirely?
Is that correct?

By the above comment I meant that ‘just’ hand exercises have never given me gains (tried for 2+ years) therefore I moved onto devices.

Give the ‘basics’ thread linked in my signature line a read. As everyone has said above, you need to increase time and heat. The actual exercises you choose will depend on what you are trying to achieve, but the principles of time and heat remain the same.

Like many have said, time and heat are crucial. Time as in months as well as working up session duration. There’s a sweet spot to finding the length of session that stimulates growth without injury.

My opinion is add heat and dramatically increase time under tension with a good ADS (6+ hrs/daily). Sprinkle in some manuals too sure but technique is everything there. Don’t waste time with the BM.

I just use the basic Bathmate Hercules. 20 minutes straight, warm water, with a slight occasional pump to keep pressure going. Since I walk around with the tube, it reminds me to do kegels while I have it on. Since you say you feel tired afterwards, I assume you’re using adequate levels of pressure.

I have noticed a change after only 3 weeks -and so has my partner-, so I will definitely keep it up and see where it leads. I do not measure, but eventually I’ll be able to see for sure when/if I max out the Hercules.
