it is my unprofessional opinion that by forcing additional blood and lymph fluid into my dick, it is getting additional nutrients and oxygen which is improving the health of the “damaged” penile tissue.

Even when I am pumping for enlargement, I rarely go over 5 or 6 hg. However, I have gained over 3/4” in girth over past four years.

Probably helps remove plaque as well. I know that is a major player in causing ED.

Pumping questions

Hi, I am re-kindled newbie, did PE like 8 years ago, had some length gains and now want to pick it back up. My routine focuses on pumping and then some jelqing (100?) because I feel that pumping preps my member for jelqing and to be honest, I don’t like jelqing that much.

I do 15mins of pumping at 6 Hg 3-4 times a week for 1-2 months now without any gain. So I am looking at changing things up a bit to stimulate growth. I can take 2 sessions, how much time is a good rest period? 1-2mins like workout reps?

More than often, I don’t warm up and jump straight to pumping after a few stretches, do you feel that the warm up actually contributes to growth or just to avoid injury?

Do you think it’s safe to test 7-8 Hg?

Definitely use heat. Heat causes tissue to elongate or expand much more readily.

Us_san, Rootsnatty is spot on. I have found a warm up seems to help with just about all forms of PE and allows for a greater stretch. When I started applying heat before extending I noticed I could stretch to a noticeably longer length. Got extra gains after that too.

I have been pumping for probably 6 months now but do not regard myself a pumping expert. However the same stretching principles must apply.

As I said I am no expert but think a longer break may be a good idea. Fluid build up is the enemy. You do not want donuts.

The experts suggest not going over 5” Hg for static pumping so be careful. With my cyclic pumping I gradually built up over a few months before I reached 3 - 14” Hg.

If you aren’t gaining at that pressure, your tunica might require more force to expand it significantly. Enough to permanently grow, that is. That means if you are really set on pumping you will need higher levels of vacuum. Going up from where you are at, however, just for a straight regular pumping session can cause problems with fluid retention and loss of EQ. As Austfred is doing, you might try dynamic (variable) pumping, it allows you to reach much higher pressures without, apparently, causing a lot of the problems associated with high pressure pumping.

I was pumping twice a day for twenty minutes at 5 hg for about a year with less than 1/4 inch in girth gains. I then added one 45 minute session a week at 4 hg and over the next 2.5 years gained almost another 3/4 inch.

Yep, higher times will always work better even at slightly lower force levels. This is the amount of time at a single stretch, not total time between all your sets.

Did going that long at a stretch without a break cause any problems?

Dtwarren, if you already are pumping 2 sessions and 20 mins each per day why don’t you just make it a long one especially when you found out length of time matters to your growth?

Long sessions increase edema (fluid build up) and generate a doughnut (excess swelling on underside of shaft just below the glans). I can’t believe this condition would be healthy if produced on a daily basis. However, since the once a week long session was generating gains I saw no reason to change the routine. However, I do occasionally do two long sessions a week. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

True story man! Also, dropping the vacuum down a little bit helps avoid a little of the fluid retention as well, I would imagine.
