Narrow tube limiting length expansion

Narrow tube limiting length expansion

I am looking for a little advice here guys.
I know it is common practice to use a narrower tube in an attempt to focus on length. However I have noticed that I get much better length expansion from my penomet than i do with my 2” air pump.(penomet is wider, maybe 2.25”)

I guess my question is, since the penis expands in all direction, when we use a narrower cylinder to give the penis only one way of expansion(length), are we actually killing potential gains by not allowing the penis to expand in all directions? Is the length expansion hindered by the penis not being able expaned any wider or deeper?

I am only a few months into this so i may be way off track.
Some insight from some of the vets would be great help.

If the tube is too narrow there will be friction, of course. With a lot of lube, friction can be reduced, but to a limit. I have heard of many pumpers trying a narrower cylinder in the hope to achieve better lenght gains, but I can’t remember any who said it actually did the trick.

I’ve done a fair bit of experimenting with different tube sizes and I’ve noticed a couple of things.

First there seems to be a total volume effect at work so say under pressure you can increase size by 10% where that increase shows up depends on where there’s room for it.
In a wider tube I find almost all the expansion goes into girth and length can actually be shorter.
The opposite is true up to a point.
If the base of your tube is too restrictive it just limits expansion in any direction.

Ideal tube size seems to be one that after 10mins or so slightly constricts your base but doesn’t get uncomfortable up to around 45mins.

This idea that a narrow tube will help with length is just an unproven theory and in fact can cause more trouble then it is worth. That is because you tend to pack the narrow tube quickly and that focuses all of the pressure on the head and that can lead to water blisters on the head and they are a bitch.

I never pack a tube anymore and actually like to use a tube that is slightly larger then I can pack and then I can pump without using lube, so no more messy clean ups.

And yes, I also get very good length expansion using this larger tube. I use a 2.25” diameter. The length really starts kicking in around the 30 minute mark.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

So if I was using a 2” cylinder and packing the tube width wise and at the base immediately after entering the tube erect, I would need to move up to a 2.25” or 2.5” for better length expansion?

No larger then a 2.25” would be best. 2.5” way too large. But if you are just packing at the base, there is no rush. You don’t get into trouble with head blisters until the entire shaft packs.

With a 2”cylinder I pack the tube width wise all the way up to about 1/2” below my glans before i create a vaccum, and the base is extremely snug. However i still have room for expansion on the underside of my penis before creating a vaccum.

Should I stick with the 2”cylinder or move up to a 2.25”?

I think it is time to invest in the 2.25”.

gprent,
I am now second guessing myself. I have the larger cylinder on its way and something occured to me.
My erect horizontal diameter is greater than 2”, however my EG is only 6”, so my diameter should only be about 1.9”, making my unit look more like a flattened oval rather than cylindrical. If I use the bigger tube will I run the chance of expanding the CC more than the CS making my member even more flat?

I feel silly asking this but would it be a good idea to stay in the 2” tube to limit CC expansion and encourage CS growth? My CS only packs about 1/3 of the way up the tube.

I know this doesn’t have anything to do with lenth expansion but I thought I would ask.

It’s hard to control how your cock is going to expand and it is probably not worth trying. I think you will enjoy using your new 2.25” tube and will certainly enjoy the results. My CS chamber always expands way larger then it normally is by the end of my session.

It is very common practice when switching to a larger tube to start your sessions in the smaller 2” tube and as that gets a little tight, continue your session using the larger 2.25” tube. This is called staging.
